About this clip: Louise, the oldest of 6 kids, proves herself to be the Saint Louise from St. Louis, becoming Carrie's assistant friend, love philosopher and online guide. Carrie is impressed by her honesty and prods Louise from St. Louis further concerning her affordable Louis Vuitton bag. Later in the movie, we learn that the saintly aide encrypts Carrie's key to her Big leap to marriage from Mexicoma singlehood as "Love", compelling her to choose love over labels eventually in the heart of New York City.

It's so funny hearing her call it the "Netflix of purses". I bet a lot of younger people don't know that Netflix used to be for renting DVDs through the mail. They'd send you some and you wouldn't get new ones until you sent the old ones back to the company.

Well the gay male writers wrote this scene. Stop being nasty to Carrie like you’re some demented misogynist who can’t tell fiction from reality when it involves women. Weird too how you imply that the woman Carrie hired couldn’t possibly overshadow her. And since he was the only guy, you didn’t need to refer to his race at all.

One of the best scenes; the rain scene in particular. The ambiance is so well illustrated.
I like Louise because she has no trouble with doing her job when it's comes to her helping out with the unpacking and how to reserve the problem for Carrie is also amazing as appreciate not only being an assistant but also new friend who is willing to help her with picking up the prices in her life
Paul should have got the job, always thought the punchline of him being unhirable for wearing heels was so dated
I dont think he was unhireable. I think he wanted to be in fashion and was only hired for finance positions.

That Louise seemed to have been created to fix racist issues they had had with afroamerican characters in the original series. So we got the black girl who is the only „normal” on the job interview.
