Lol I saw this comment before getting to the reaction so I knew what to expect but I actually cant believe he missed almost every major new lyric on the song lolll. I think him listening to the short film first was a mistake, it distracted him way too much and he was talking about what he was seeing instead of listening to the song. I think the criticism is valid, I wish he would just pause the songs when he wants to start talking, still a fun video overall but it was quite frustrating there at the end.
Fun fact: Taylor was either putting Better Man or All Too Well on the album and ultimately decided on All Too Well. She gave Better Man to Little Big Town and it was a massive success and even won a grammy. It’s been a massive success among the fans and she actually recorded it as a vault track because we asked A LOT for it hahaha ❤️

Actually Forever Winter is rumored to be about Taylor's friend that died of a drug overdose back when she was writing Red.
It took me a couple of listens to really get what the song was about. I really want him to listen to it a few times and get his reaction on what it’s actually about.
It's about Jeff, who was her best friend. She has spoken about this. I just can't remember where.

My favorite little detail in the short film is that Taylor cast someone named Jake Lyon to play "older Jake" in the end scene. As in "Jake Lyin'". I googled Jake Lyon and discovered he is an overwatch gamer, not an actor. The level of pettiness to cast a gamer in your short film because his last name is "Lyon" is next level and I adore her for it.

Okay, when she says "The only real thing you've ever known" they're showing a very familiar kiss, the spiderman kiss. Jake Gyllenhaal dated Kristen Dunst who we all know played Mary Jane. There's an old interview of Jake saying that he'd only fallen in love once, he was talking about Kristen. I think young Taylor was referring to herself when she said that, but now, old Taylor looks back at it and knows it wasn't her, so maybe it could be a nod to that, or maybe I'm just overthinking it. Forever winter is actually about a highschool friend she had called Jeff who died from drug overdose. There was a award she was getting in 2011-12 (I don't remeber which) where she talked about dedicating that award to Jeff who had recently died and she had gone on his funeral.

She used to play every single song in front of him before they were released. After he got into depression and started using drugs, she was there but also wasn’t there.
