I'm glad Chidi didn't give up on Faith. The scene when he told his friend he was done and going to mind his own business yet he was right back at Faith's door checking on her was so realistic. I'm so glad he did. I have been in situations where I said I was done and in the next breath desperately wanting to help. That's just a natural response for someone who genuinely cares. Chidi really tried with all his might to help Faith. The arrogance of John was typical for someone with the upper hand until they no longer do bc they finally get caught and held accountable for their actions criminally or just a good ole fashion well deserved ass whooping. Abusers are the weak ones. They have a disconnect and insecurities they have no control over so they have this need to pour their frustrations, and need to control out on those that are physically weaker, emotionally fragile and more prone to manipulation. Great that John's greed finally got the best of him. I'm glad Chidi came along and was able to inspire and encourage Faith to get back her voice. Capture My ❤ Heart is a fine story. Faith and Chidi have real chemistry. John always does these type of characters justice.
I'm confused 🤔, She was crying 😭 and all upset and going crazy because he was cheating, but she wasn't crying 😭 and all upset when he was whipping her ass, and the lost of her company to his punk ass. When i was young,he beats my mom every six hours in a day even before I was born,he beats my mom when she was carrying me in her womb and i was born as a prematured child, I almost died
Growing up was the worst days of my life,my dad never showed love to me and my mom,he never paid my fees

Yet he abused her, anywhere he goes out with her😢....in church,market,even in my PTA meeting in school and my school parties,he hits her everytime.... family and friends warned her to divorce him,or report him to Woman Rights but she refused simply because she loved him
Now as a teenager i grew up hating my father because he was a terrible parent
