    Data Scientist roles definitely have a higher barrier to entry. My outlook is to just to find a way to break into data and then get on the trajectory to quickly move up into a data scientist position. In this market, I think that speed is important and the data analyst role is prime for breaking into the industry.

    I don't agree with Mo cause anyone can learn anything with effort and if they wanted to. Your brain isn't just born with just being more logical than creative. You just don't exercise that part of the brain that has creativity, and then you reinforce that lack of exercise by saying you will never be able to do it. Like a Self-fulfilling prophecy. Wise people have a growth mindset that is the belief anyone can change and learn. They might not be as good as another in which it came easier to that person, but you can do it and you'll bring a more diverse skillset that another lacks.

    • @datanash8200
      @datanash8200  Před 8 měsíci +2

      Definitely agree, I would say time + directed effort + application means anyone can learn anything

    Tbh I was unsure what data analysts do but from this video I realised if I’m gonna go try something I really am interested in (and coming from someone who has no data science/computer science background) I’m going to go FULLY DEEP into it and delve right into it since I also feel like mo said there’s more progression with DS but also I feel like the skills you learn are so transferable? Like you can open up so many job opportunities if you gain the skills needed

    • @datanash8200
      @datanash8200  Před 6 měsíci

      Exactly! If you're going to be a DS/DA its worth it to put the extra bit of effort to be a great one. Exponential benefits

    • @datanash8200
      @datanash8200  Před 8 měsíci

      Will you be working on your local computer a lot? if so go with something with a good graphics card on windows or M1 and up for mac. But if you are using cloud resources like google collab any laptop will do

    I am really scared of presenting but I love finding insights into data, do not really like Python, any advice?

    • @datanash8200
      @datanash8200  Před 8 měsíci

      If you love finding insights, you can become a data analyst if you learn to like presenting. If you love finding insights, you can become a data Scientist if you learn to like Python. If you're okay with dropping insights, in order to avoid Python/presenting become a Data Engineer
