Your language models dont take into account how he visually displays his items. His scripts are careful not to be biased. However he USES an iphone. He wears an apple watch in his android videos. He leaves the android phones with dust on them while the apple phones are flawless. There's alot more to it than that. Subtle differences like light balance. Filming location. Facial expressions and thumb nail previews give off an air of sceptism or mistrust. It can induce a fear response in anyone thats sensitive to these characteristics. Maybe this phone isnt durable. Maybe others will think less of me for having this phone because he's looking at it with an fake smile. Try your model again accounting for all the variables and try not to cherry pick them.
That wide monitor is the most real shit about Data interns 😂 First Day: 4000 dollar workstation Tenth year: This CRT monitor I found in Dad's basement and a jerry-rigged Raspberry Pi 3 with near modem dialup speeds
As a recently graduated DS student, almost of that is relatable aside in the company I interned in, they focus more on researches so I ended up learning more on how to read research models and just straight up use GPT to fix and apply it in the shared JupyterLab ._.
Well at least you didn't get reject from the interview when you admitted you didn't have 10 years experience on that one library that was created a month ago...
Hi i am graduated from math teachering, is it enough for having diploma? I asked this because if it is enough, i wanna learn from courses and do project and load yo githup. Is it possible is it logical?
Hi! Do you mean you were a maths teacher? If so you're in a great position and I would say yes, focus on coding and projects
@@datanash8200 yes I wanted to say it, that's great thank you so much. I will focus 😇
R is great.
I MUST HAVE THAT SCREEN! It just won't fit anywhere in my house.
Great concise summary...I too am a data scientist who is doing mainly data analysis...lol.
such a useful skill to be able to do both!
Thanks so much for this roadmap ❤
been trying to get a job for the past 3 months. every. single. job. wants to have 5 work year experiences. but then i get called back and they say "hey so... we WANT you, because we have been looking for 4 months for this position, but the CEO is adamant they need someone with years of experience to do a frontend project"
your tech stack adds up to 120%! you might want to correct the numbers
121%!
Damn, a data scientist who can't count to 100, I've broken a record!
Absolutely interested in seeing more of your day-to-day stuff, as much as you're willing to share. My official job title is also Data Scientist, but I've been doing LLM stuff for the past year, so I haven't written a single SQL query since.
Man your role sounds so interesting man, wish I got to do a lot more pure LLM work
Wait a minute... I heard most companies want you to learn python...but now it's R???
Gold, Having a whole vscode screen is wild.
Very cool, expanding into data engineering! Nash, you are going to be "a one-stop shop" pretty soon. My role model who is half my age in the data science game... super cool!!
Thanks a lot, and it's very much worth it to become a "Full-stack data scientist"
What do you mean by building models. I am a data analyst at a non profit and have been doing lots of visualizations. I want to build models to help the company.
Hi @shaunting335! IBM defines an AI model as a computer program that can recognize patterns or make decisions without human intervention. In the role of a data analyst, YOU are the program managing work responsibilities (kinda like) as interventions. As you learn more about modeling & algorithms, YOU begin to ask the questions for data analysts to compute & communicate via visualizations. Cheers!
Well explained. So you might build a model to forecast demand, or group customers into different archetype
Damn bro, this is incredibly inspiring to get started, I've been procrastinating going through with actually starting on data science, considering I'm doing a whole career switch, starting from scratch, I do believe this is the best blueprint yet. Straight forward, step by step, as well as giving me reason to stay motivated and not get overwhelmed by all the "spread" information out there, I've been pushing myself just by watching day-in-the-life videos and researching wether data science is for me. Thanks for the efforts you share🙏💯
Damn, this shit happened to me. I got hired as an intern for financial risk in a insurance company. Supposedly to do automation tasks and maybe some database management, using mainly python and sql. Anyways, I finished my induction today and it seems like, aside from the 2000 applicatons and microsoft services that the company uses, I will mainly be using R, power BI and excel
huh wouldve thought itd be much more maths intensive
Best video 😂😂😂mann. . so true
I watched the whole video thinking they were two different persons, hating on one and caring for the othere, that's how much this video is relatable.
Today I signed my first contract as a front end developer, they gave me a macbook, never used apple products before, kill me 😂
😂😂😂 Congrats on the offer!!
Bro, you’re a blessing sent by God the best!
What other certifications can i get during or after my masters in data science?
Theres tonnes, Datacamp, microsoft etc all offer different ones. Is there a particular areas you are looking into?
this is hilarious
the fact that I read your youtube username as "Data Nyash" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Fellow nigerians will understand
R is just better
Is one year masters in data science enough to learn and get a job?
Hi mate, it was enough for me and most of my course mates
How would I build a strong foundation at 16? I just finished high school and I want to get into this field as strong as I can. Any tips you would have for my path would be amazing sir🙏
Once you learn the basics of maths and coding focus on building as much as possible
This looks awesome. It's like Jupyter Notebook combined with CoPilot.
Honestly, I've loved it!!
Love this. Thank you :)
your channel is seriously underrated
Thank you man!
You’re so right it’s not for starters
Great info for a starter!
Looking forward to learning from you .
Great guide, but absolutely no resources

The projects guys. The projects address this problem of chunking a task. Otherwise good review. I am not new to coding so I am finding DC very effective to practise.
thanks for making this video! great and valid points made
Glad it was helpful!
sorry for late comment , what do you eat before gym in the morning to have enough energy to workout ? someting like fast carbs meal or normal breakfast ?
If i go in the morning I don't eat anything! I never eat until noon
I am a Java Developer in my day job, but the company I work at employs data scientists. I may need Data Science skills in the future. Is going the Data Camp route ideal for my situation? I dont have the money or the time to pursue a degree, at least not an in-person degree.
Yes, it's perfect for you because you have baseline understanding of coding!
3:45 great point about slowing it down
I see a man who is happy with what he is doing in his life. Happy for you brother ❤
looks like this vedio made me future ready for DataScience than whole internet.
i just love how people study DS/ML for a trend but already give up because of the math/statistics
DataCamp does have fundamental and theory courses but you don’t have to review them to obtain the certification unfortunately. If you’re coming from a non-technical background and just think “All I need to do is learn how to code good” then yeah it’s a tough realization that fundamentals and theory is equally important.
The moment you suggested VSC, you lost me. C u in the next video.
What do you prefer?
DataCamp has been absolute great for me. The reason is because I am more familiar with 90% of the theory for things they teach. In 2023 I spent an entire year coding with Python only and working with Numpy,Pandas and Matplotlib. Moreover in 2023(my final year) statistics I did Sampling Theory,Linear Regression , Time Series and Statistical Analysis for Experiments as individual modules at Varsity. I did Stats for 3 years, hence I enjoy it more than anything because I also do projects after learning. And to be fair,I agree with you,it's not that good for someone who doesn't know fundamentals and statistics
Here’s the thing: every single entry level data scientist position I’ve looked into (at least in the realm of science, clinical analytics, and other higher education disciplines) REQUIRES a master’s as a minimum qualification now. It’s not a matter of what the degree teaches you. Its about the fact that you have a degree
Im using data camp.for python , SQL n projects pertaining to it that's all DCamp - it's more technical than theoretical ...
Omg paperclip!
Thank you so much sir, Im trying to focus on one thing at a time, so your video is very useful for me. My background mainly is database and jenkins CI,
