    I personally like the gloves and they feel very comfortable. I got the everlasting 1910 brown color gloves they have like a old-school look and I get a lot of compliments from them. I have no problem with the gloves and I think they one of the best gloves that I have bought I even spar with them on.😳😎

    Just got the blue ,really good gloves for people with long fingers ,just the placement of the thumb is a little bit odd.
    Overall cool pair .

    How about the Classic training gloves for £50. What’s that score ? I’m choosing between that and the Powerlock 2 PU

    Ive been using the lace up ones for sparring for about a year and for me they have been okay, the lining is actually not Loose on my gloves and you get used to not having a grip bar. But dont buy theese they are not worth the money!

    Hello!
    I am a French beginner in boxing and I wanted to change my 30€ gloves for gloves around 150€.
    In a store near me these gloves are on sale for 150€ instead of 200€. Do you think I should buy them or rather aim for another pair?
    In France the Cleto Reyes are worth 230 euros which is a bit expensive for me, the Fairtex and Twins can be found around this price (€150) but are more specialized in Thai boxing, the Hayabusa T3 look nice too but the fact that they don't are not leather bothers me a little. what would be your recommendation? don't hesitate to give me brands and models that I haven't mentioned, I'm just starting out :)

    Through the 1990s I was the Everlast UK distributor, all the real boxing equipment AIBA amater and full pro range were made in the Bronx factory and were very good quality. In the early 2000s the company was sold to a clothing brand from New York, most production was sent to China, some Pakistan and they have tried a few Mexican factories, it has never been the same since and why we stopped distributing Everlast in 2007, this latest lot are awful, not good for a great company along with their mx pro fight range being banned for use by BBBofC

      @@endy7933 mx fight gloves are banned for use in UK by BBBofC, the lack of padding causes too much facial damage , this happened once before in about 2005 after a world title fight at York hall there were complaints backnthen

      @@chrisfirth8610 ah thank you, good to know. in my cheap opinion if someone using the xl size, i think it's more lack of padding because it has bigger punch area, and the horse hair will be more spreading.

      Everlast gloves were NEVER good to begin with. The older models (made in bronx) were cheap quality garbage that were way overpriced. The gloves never felt comfortable; can't even come remotely close to other brands (e.g. ringside, grant, reyes). Yes. I saw a big change taking place in Everlast in the early 2000s. I thought Everlast is finally coming to a sense and decided to improve their products.
      Whether Everlast really did improve or not, I couldn't care less. I wouldn't spend my hard earned cash on their products!

    • @chrisfirth8610
      @chrisfirth8610 Před rokem +1

      @T K the old gloves made in the Bronx were for use by professional boxers or top class amateurs as AIBA approved, old school, far superior to the cheap Chinese made gear that followed, as for being comfortable, in my mind that is only for keep fit boxers, not serious fighters, they do not care about comfort, but about winning and beating their opponent, in the last few years younger generations have gone soft in all walks of life and now it is coming through into contact sports to make things comfortable and safe, when you aim is to damage or KO your opponent would make old fighters turn in their grave, but we live In. These woke snowflake times

    I know this is a huge request of you but i would really appreciate if you could do a review or respond back if you have experience with them. I have some 16oz fly x laceups and I am looking to purchase a 2nd pair in 18oz Velcro But i am unsure of how much different the hand compartment is and I wanted to see if maybe you could do a video comparing different 18oz gloves or respond back with a comment if you have tried them on. Thank you!!!

      I’ve not tryed fly x 18oz but generally 18oz are a little bigger a little bit bigger in the hand compartment
      Not a massive jump it is only 2oz but everything just a little bigger

    These gloves were not my cup of tea at all. I got the Velcro cheap version for my wife and her thumb would go numb due to the stitching between the index finger and thumb. The loud branding takes away the classic look. U want some true classic looking gloves get the phenoms! Super comfortable and great for sparring.

    The lace up Powerlocks could be great but quality is not there. Their MX line is their best line but good luck training all day in horsehair gloves... Cant hold a candle to Cleto and Winning.

    • @Fit2Box
      @Fit2Box  Před rokem +9

      Thanks glad you liked it
      Re the hook
      that is an Amatuer hook as taught by England boxing
      With knuckles hitting the target not slapping with the front of the fingers
      Russian boxing and Cuban amateur boxers use/teach the same hook
      Ggg uses the same style hook (palm down)
      So I guess
      GGG Russian amateur Boxing
      Cuban amateur Boxing
      And England amateur boxing are all wrong
      You must be right 👍🏼
