I hate that the budget gloves have better color selections than the premium gloves.

I’m 5 9 170lbs, I bought the 16 oz for training/sparring and they are huge. They look like sockem bop ems. I like how these are super durable and firm, but ya they run big and are bulky.
Nice review as always fam! Enjoy the aspects you play close attention to such as forming a fist etc. EDIT: these, or the eizo supremes (both synthetic about $150ish both favorable reviews)

Hey Carlo, just before these came out, I discovered that the originals are, to me, the perfect gloves. I primarily like the rugged synthetic material. Unfortunately, they're all out of stock. Do you know of anything with a similar feel? Also, have you seen the new Venum Impact Evo gloves? They look like they were going for a similar look.
Colors on budget gloves look so much better unfortunately 😢 hopefully they had more colors
Can't they them in Canada yet but those look good. I have 16oz hayabusa T3 for sparring and 12oz Rival for bag work, but if either break I might consider those ! Thanks for the review.

Hey guys Im gonna get a new pair of gloves for bag work and sparring, should I get the Everlast Elite 2 Pro Training Gloves Laced or the Fly Superlace X??

Need replacement for the mx2.0, u think these are solid as those were so rough
the biggest difference, or shall I say the biggest improvement with elite 2 is that they got rid of stitching on the punching surface they had on the previous model. other reviewers have criticized the older model for the stitching on the punching surface as it can possibly cut sparring partners. good thing they finally got ride of it - the stitching.
But they weren’t sparring gloves anyway foam was too hard. New ones good for sparring

So the price point of these falls right in line with the Hayabusa T3 and slightly under the Superare S40/50 and the Phenom SG-202/210. Obviously the Superare and Phenom gloves are leather, but I’m not too hung up on that. Where would you slot these among those other 3 gloves (really the 16oz for sparring)?
I’d say phenom #1 and then these at #2 superare 3 T3 #4

T3s for the best wrist support youll ever feel. Mark my words
@@ThaprobLem777 T3's have a big problem with the arched wrist ergonomics and how they effect punch technique. Also, the Onyx gloves are universally regarded as the best protective glove. I think the Rival RS11V's are better as well.
Yes the lace up is better for wrist support but you’ll lose the convenience of Velcro because the new lace up system needs someone to tie them for you (if you want to be locked in)
Are the lace up versions of these better then the powerlock 2 laced?

Idk I’m a big fan of Powerlocks I feel like with a lot of padding you won’t feel that snap or impact. And China made gloves idk about that one. I feel like it’s good for sparring
Fly’s superlace x line of gloves are made in china as well, which are really solidly constructed
These are made in same factory as rival too

I feel that it's another poorly built gloves from Everlast. The only gloves I like that are made by Everlast are the MX2.
I like the Powerlocks and the MX. For people on a budget Everlast is usually the go to
Powerlock 2, Elite 2 and MX 2 all look worse than the originals.
Nahh no way. Maybe the MX2's, but Powerlock2 and Elite2 wayyy better.
