  • This is a beautiful 1998 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur that has spent most of its life in Southern California. This is the most refined of the Silver Spurs and the pinnacle of the Crewe built Rolls-Royce motorcars before the sale of the company to BMW. And with a mere 55,000 miles, this car needs nothing and is ready to be enjoyed.
We love the elegant and classic Magnolia livery complimented by the subtle tan coach stripes. The paint is original and in overall very nice condition. The front and rear bumpers show some abrasions from normal use. These can easily be touched up, if so desired. The alloy Rolls-Royce wheels and chrome hub caps look timeless and classic. The radials are near new and being black walls add a sporting look to its profile.
The interior is in excellent overall condition. The seats, door panels and headliner are all fitted in two tone Sand and Parchment leather. It looks stunning next to the gorgeous wood dashboard, door caps and trim that is burl walnut complimented with other veneers. The wood is all original and in overall excellent condition. There are only a few minor cracks in the veneer which are only noticeable upon close inspection. The light tan carpet is covered throughout with champagne colored sheepskin mouton overlays for the ultimate in luxury. Overall, the interior is in very good to excellent condition.
The last of the series Spurs benefited from the installation of a light boosted turbocharger producing 300 hp and 442 ft lbs of torque from the venerable 6.8 liter engine. This provides a perfect balance of luxurious performance and dependability.
Mechanically, this Silver Spur has benefited from consistent and extensive servicing throughout her life. The present owner has made sure all systems operate as they should. The car performs beautifully and drives as it should. You can have the confidence that this Rolls will provide reliable and comfortable service in the future. As a note, there are no drips or leaks anywhere on this car.
The Rolls is complete with its toolkit, books, manuals, the phone for the rear seat passengers and the remote for the AM/FM CD changer.
This is an opportunity to enjoy a hand-built motorcar that, when new, was close to $200,000 (three times the cost of an S-Class Mercedes).
For more information and details, please call, text or email Chip Henson at +1.602.509.4776 or sales@classicpromenade.com. This Silver Spur is available for inspection at our Phoenix showroom.

I love how the older Rolls-Royce cars are opulent without being ostentatious, like the current range which seem to run the entire gamut of vulgarity.

Modern Rolls-Royce cars are for people who want to show off how much money they have, and how bad their taste is.

@@michaelmontagu3979 Not all of the new (2003 onward) Rolls Royces are in bad taste but I do agree that the very latest models, compared to the older Rolls Royce styling, are disgusting to say the least. The newer cars are also lacking in the traditional quality of the older Rolls Royces which is sad really. Anyway, take care and all the best.
