In this video i will show you the EASIEST and quickest way to make the popular UK Drill sound that is taking the music world by storm. Pop Smoke songs "DIOR" & "Welcome To The Party" has made this sound very popular as of recent and I am here to help you all recreate this groundbreaking wave. I will carefully walk you through the Sampler plugin in Logic 10.5 to help those understand how to make your 808s hit HARD! I also provided free download links for anyone who wants to follow along but do not have the proper resources.

This is fire! Also, if you want to time your slide in sync w the song, 60,000 milliseconds divided by the song BPM equals one 1/4 note. Cut that number in half for an 1/8th note. Cut that number in half for a 1/16th note. Learned that making EDM so I could get my sidechain compression to ride w the song.

You can use alt+shift+up to bring your notes up an octave! Easy shortcut

But secondly, THANK YOU (even though Jamal mentioned that shortcut in the video I appreciate you too!) I only just got Logic a couple months ago after having used FL studio for over a decade and trying to figure out the keyboard shortcut was maddening. I was just selecting the notes and manually dragging them up 12 steps haha.
And I tried to Google how to do it and the first result was from the score magazine in an article titled "
