Thank you for the great review! We`re so happy you loved your experience and can`t wait to have you back in the future.
I love this mixer
The look on Phil’s face when u said he only gets one was priceless!
Always haha
That face was so priceless.
I just got to that part in the video. Too funny. I burst out laughing. 😆 I know you make him plenty of good things to eat. He might not have all the banana bread for himself; however there will be other yummy things to devour.
I made maple banana bread yesterday but only one loaf. 1/2 cup of maple syrup replaces the sugar. It also had cinnamon and nutmeg. So good.
Sounds great!
Omg I Love that mixer just showed my husband and he said go looking at them it will be my anniversary gift from him.
Awesome!!!
He’s a keeper! Nice!
I'm actually more envious of the Wolf in the room!
Banana bread is a big hit in our family too.
Leisa, Vevor is where I bought my Chicken Run and Greenhouse. Totally satisfied with them.
I was just looking at there chicken run
Hi! I did notice, on the specs plate on the side, the country of this mixer's origin. Nothing to be ashamed of, as those awesome ForJars lids are made there too... No foul here 🤩🤩🤩
I love the look you got when hubby found out he wasn't getting more than one!! By the way, in our local area homemade Banana Bread, butter tarts (12), pumpkin bread , pies etc. are selling for 15 dollars! I was told it is a church group of ladies and you can preorder. Usually SOLD out fast. Ontario, Canada
Butter tarts! My all-time favourite. Have you had the ones from Betty's near Port Hope? Absolutely wonderful. I can't enjoy them as much as I used to since I had heart surgery earlier this year, and now I have to stick to a "heart healthy" (Mediterranean) diet.
Prayers that you are ok. God Bless
I have mixer envy. Lol
I pet it, I confess haha
I can almost smell them baking!
Holy schmoly I'm excited to see this beast in action!! Woot!!
My grandmother Boone would have loved the way you baked. No bananas ever went to waste in her kitchen. She'd make banana bread or pie in a heartbeat. She ran a restaurant during the depression out in Oklahoma and another one in Oak Ridge Tennessee during WWII. She never wasted any batter or pie crust dough. Any extra pie crust dough was spread with a touch of butter, and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. LOL, if we were visiting, there was always "extra" dough. I'd pig out on the cinnamon sugar crust cookies.
Cold snowy days are good for baking .
The banana bread looks delicious
I love Banana bread now you have me wanting to make some maybe this weekend. Thank you for the video.😃😃
I just bought 15 bananas with the red band. The plan was banana bread but I decided to immediately put them in the freeze dryer with some other produce that was on sale. I think I will make banana powder, calculate how much equals one banana and use in various recipes.
That looks so good. I love Banana Bread. ❤And I loved listening to your chimes, I have a set and I love them.
That is a lovely mixer, Leisa. It is so quiet when it is running also. The banana bread looked delicious and I loved the look on Phil's face when you said he only gets one. Thanks for sharing and y'all have a Blessed day.
Now that's a mixer!
I love your pets
Parchment paper trick genius!
It works so well
I have mixer envy! I remember learning how to bake using a Hobart and your mixer brought back some great memories.
I have a long lasting love affair with hobart
I went through 2 Kitchenaids, 1 Viking and I was gifted an Electrolux,, now known as Ankarsrum. I've had it for about 15 years and works as great as the first day I got it. Good luck with your new mixer. God bless.
Your Doby reminds me of my old doby Axl.❤🐕❤🐕
I can’t wait till tomorrow
Bout time introducing that beauty. Yumm and yummm is all I can say.
Oh yes!
I am truely loving this video!!!
Leisa, I like where your kitchen window is placed. I can look at it & see your weather conditions. In regards to foreign made products, like you said, it is what it is. I think it is great that you make a quality banana bread with your homegrown eggs & sell to friends. They get the deliciousness & you make some money for your time & talent.
I haven't followed you long but I look forward to following you as we move into the gardening season. Thanks for sharing!
I’ve never used a commercial mixer that small, but if you have need of use, they are a ~dream~ to use. 😍
Wowzer…..nice machine! I love it.😊
Me too!
Nice mixer ! I bought at auction about 10 years ago a like new 10 quart Hobart for a song !!! It is all it is said to be !!!
It sure is!
That mixer is awesome, neither have the need or the space for one that big. I have the KitchenAid professional stand mixer. The cost of the one you have and a new KitchenAid are comparable in price.
Thank you, I will omit the chocolate chips as I don’t like them in banana bread.
That is a great idea with the parchment paper. I learned again from you. That is one humdinger of a mixer. Thanks for another great video
All I can say is wow! I do love my freeze dryer though.
I love making banana bread for my family too. Last summer I made banana/zucchini bread with chocolate chips…so yummy!
You can replace oil with applesauce as well. It works out really well in banana bread.
You're right! I've been adding a 4oz. cup of applesauce to cake mixes for years...
I love your mixer! I have a Hobart 20 quart mixer…she’s wonderful!
I recently found this company. I love them. One of my brewing sites was sponsored by Vevor and I purchased a mini keg and realized I had also purchased a um "brewing system" from this company previously. ☺ Life lessons for hard times. I wanted to learn brewing in case I needed to barter. Poor Phil you are such a big meanie wife. 😆
You left us hanging.
The sound of that mixer is so soothing and relaxing. I love it.
I made banana bread yesterday. I add sorghum molasses and pinch of clove and cinnamon to mine and chopped pecans
I love Mr Phil’s face when you tell him no. I have two at home like him, it is a constant battle!
Really enjoyed this video! Beautiful mixer ❤
Hobart is a work horse! Had one at a donut shop I worked in. This was a monster ,as tall as me...never even burped mixing a hundred pounds at a time.
❤️ those!!
Yesterday, I made banana bread for my daughter. She loves banana bread.
I like your mixer. I had a Kitchen Aid and upgrade to the Ankarsrum 6230. It’s made in Sweden. I purchased that during the COVID shutdown for baking bread. I use it for all my mixing needs. Love it!
I do banana bread in the small loaves and freeze it. My hubby and I don’t need more than that at one time
Luvin the machine. Poor Phil..
I'm so jelly!! Congratulations on your new baby!
That is one kitchen item I wish I could afford. I have to mix everything by hand. I'm drooling here!!!
The banana bread looks delicious. I love your new mixer. I would not let Phil go to town with all that bread after he gave you that look, he my hide some for later. Have a blessed week.
That makes less noise than my kitchen aid. Can you imagine the Christmas cookies you could make with that ...im impressed!!!!
Thank You for sharing. I really like that mixer
Very snazzy mixer! Your bread looked so good!🍌🍞
Nice mixer, she’s a beauty! ❤
Cool Mixer!
around 3:05 label reads " made in china " but is nice to have a commercial mixer when one does lot of bread making/ baking or any other heavy dough .
Vevor is where I got my Moonshine Still. Lol.
If your oven is a convection oven as a former lunch lady I have a tip for ya. Half way through baking rotate racks and turn. You'll get a more even browning.
I discovered Vevor when I needed to purchase a water distiller. Much less expensive than any other brand, has held up well and I'm very impressed with the variety of products the company carries. Highly recommend them!
I find the browner the inside of a banana is the more rich the banana bread!
I bake my bananas in the oven a little bit to make them sweeter in their skins. Just for 10 minutes or so at 350°.
Neat idea
Yum! I love banana bread. That’s awesome that you can sell some of your bread. Happy baking!❤
Gotta have the right tools! Very nice
If you are going to do one loaf it is great to follow the recipe and do ten. Give some as gifts and freeze some. They look delicious and I thought I could smell them when you took them out of the oven. Thank you.
mixer looks great I also liked the smaller mixer and the raised beds
My dream kitchen (after retirement) will be a commercial size!
Oh, that thumbnail should have said…Say hello to my Little Friend! 🤣😉
With the accent. 😂
That's what I said........hahahaha
Am a professional chef, I love commercial equipment - efficient and usually easier to clean. My dream in-home appliance would be a commercial dishwasher - 1 minute 45 second cycle and uses less water than residential dishwasher. I'd also take a blast chiller 🤣.
For worker safety with mixer, would be ideal to have on a lower the table. A full bowl hoisted up is heavy but when it is lower, you can use your legs and properly lift. I know we're all given whatever variables we have so maybe not possible but would be ideal!
We bought a Vevor stand mixer in Dec! Love it! It's not the commercial one you have but we really like! We also just bought a chicken run from them.
Amazing! You taught me a great way to peel bananas!
I really enjoyed this video. Thank you. I liked your recipe and your mixer.
570.00 is a steal. A big kitchen aid is close to 400.00. Can’t wait to see it get a work out
Nice mixer ! I learned to bake in a commercial bakery and miss the big workhorse mixers. Now I just make 2-3 loaves at a time during the holidays usually. I like my banana to be chunkier in the bread, that's just me. Looks delicious,
Love the mixer & a great price too !! Banana bread looks wonderful !!
it is only me and my kitchen aid still cranks -- guess i am sticking with that but i do love your new mixer!!!
Looks fabulous! Hope you’re feeling better!
Thank you for this video. My mixer just died, and I am now in the market for another.
Great find!
What a thing of beauty! Congrats on your new mixer. I don’t blame Phil for wanting more than one loaf of banana abanana bread. It’s so yummy! I know you have probably been asked before, but will you and Mr. Phil adopt me? My kids are grown (and very involved). I pay rent and I do cook. I know I say many times in the group I don’t, but I can! I don’t because it’s just me!
❤️😂❤️😂❤️
🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️
We need to upgrade our Kitchen aid, I saw this and showed hubby. We are a family of 9 . Hopefully for my birthday
Perfect for a family that size!
Nice mixer❤😊
The mixer is the bomb and love the way your banana breads look and how tasty they are with Phil doing the taste test and his expression. Thank you for sharing the recipe too! BTW we have a freeze warning here today in San Diego it's been so cold.
Forgot I also baked today. A white whole wheat loaf. I really enjoy using the white whole wheat flour from KA flours.
Sweet mixer, it is a reasonable price. I have heard of thunder snow, but never experienced it. I have some ripe bananas and will make a loaf too.
Found it! 🥰🥰🥰
Great deal!!! I was honestly expecting you to say it was $1500-$2000. And man! I’m going to use this as my ASMR video to help me fall asleep. A few minutes into the mixer doing its thing and I passed out! 🥱😴🤤 The banana bread looks excellent! I’ve been craving it for a little bit now. Guess I’m going to have to make some soon. The little slice from Starbucks just isn’t cutting it! 😅💙💙💙
I used to love banana bread but after my last child 24 1/2 years ago I’m allergic to bananas. I still love making banana bread as long as I’m wearing gloves and give it away we’re all good. Love your recipe A1😊
Looks fabulous!!
i have a mixer like that too.
Toby is a good helper.( Pick up dog.) Phill is not so on plan with getting rid of the breads. Great video. I just bought a new Kitchen Aid Large. It is very noisy but it works great.
My mom always waited for the naner skins to turn black before using them for the bread. Good to see I don't have to wait that long!!
Looks delicious. Never put chocolate chips in Banana Bread before will definitely have to try that need time I bake it. Who doesn’t love chocolate chips. 😊
We love Toby! :) That banana bread looks great!
I love him too, but he does add an extra element into everything I do......haha
Nice mixer! I fell in love with a baby Hobart once but my boss said I couldn’t take it home. 😢 Making do with the big kitchen aid. 😂 I love big batch baking!
At time mark 4:41, you said, "where is it made? Don't have a clue". At time mark 2:52, it clearly shows on the equipment label that it is made in China. Nothing wrong with that. Vevor makes some great stuff and most of it is very affordable (when comparing to like products). I have a fantastic little welder from them and just bought a chamber vacuum sealer for a third of the price of everyone else.
Bet it tastes so delicious, love a good banana bread
Me too!
Oh Leisa, Thank you so much for showing us your new mixer!! Can't wait to see you use it for other recipes, like yeast bread & kneading etc. I'm trying to decide on their 10 quart model. Do you think it would be suitable for smaller batches, like a loaf or two of bread or a single cake mix or egg whites etc? I value your opinion. That banana bread looks delicious by the way!
I think it would be good for 1-2 loaves for sure
Have you ever tried walnuts in banana bread it's so good 👍 my kids love banana bread with choc chips to ❤️ love your new mixer x
Oh I see what your baking them in smart girl.
