The scraping is still unethical and while I agree that most people are paranoid thinking Zuck is personally lurking at their photos (resonates with your idea of drop in the ocean), this becomes a real, more personal problem for the few who are more than a drop. A very unique style, ideas, voice etc makes the special artist exposed to massive damage. That's what makes some of us stop sharing our work online, depriving the world from novelty.
I get your point but I'm still going to remove my content from IG.

Fair enough! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and as long as you're informed (clearly you are!!), I will not argue that you're right or wrong. Definitely makes sense for other kinds of artists who do more unique art than landscape photography.

@@AustinJamesJackson I appreciate you. My goal is not to antagonize you, and I definitely agree with many of your points. It remains tricky in the sense that while exposing your art exposes you, so to speak, disappearing entirely seems like a protective temporary solution, but clearly not ideal either. Best to you, firend :)

I totally agree. Ask songwriters if it is paranoid.

Thanks for this overview. Glad Adobe clarified things as they did. I agree with your point of view on this topic.
