  • In this video I show off my step by step process on how I build up an images color grade. There is thousands of ways to build color theory on our photos and videos but some of the tricks I will show you will help you dial in on the right way to color grade so that you can more accurately articulate the mood you are going for in your photos!
    The way I edit will show you how to prep in Adobe Lightroom, send the file correctly to Adobe Photoshop, then save the file back into Adobe Lightroom.

    Bro you do not disappoint! Another amazing, infomation-filled video! You mentioned how you would composite in the overexposed shot for the carbon and wheels, at what stage would you do that? Would you edit both exposures in LR first and then do it?

    • @EvoGShootsCars
      @EvoGShootsCars  Před 20 dny +1

      @@omkarbhavsar3411 Thanks brother! 🙏 Exactly so that’s why I mention making the first photo a photo that includes your whole subject and most of the settings or location it is around because that photos going to be your master file. Once you edit that you can sync then setting to your other shots so that they are extremely similar, now the more advanced version is when you toss in other shots that are far off the exposure of your main shot but usually the sync settings just need help with the exposure dials. Once all that’s done the file can go into Photoshop to be added to the main file if your working on composite

      @@EvoGShootsCars Right, that makes a lot of sense! I'm assuming that's the same process you follow with your strobe work?

    Great video, thanks. Try the select object "rectangle select" tool instead of select subject in masking. It gives better results in LR

      @@marshall-_-007-_- I’ll check it out! Usually when I get extremely focused on masks it’s all in photoshop for precision but I’ll look into it! I will say Lightroom has come such a long way from before and it’s really “catching up”

    bro,Can this method imitate the tones of other photos? For example, I saw other photos similar to car photography, but I want to imitate its color. Can I use this color balance to imitate it? Your tutorial is very detailed, thank you for your analysis

      @EvoGShootsCars  Před 18 dny

      @@xiaeven-ew1ru Thanks for watching! It might be able to only to an extent or as a starting point.. but this is a much more very manual way to build the color… there is some “color matching” tools I believe now in Photoshop and if it adds some sort of layer masked adjustment to your layers when doing so you can definitely apply image that mask
