You guys NEED to connect a vacuum line from the engine to the fuel pressure regulator so it can increase the fuel pressure with the boost of the supercharger, if you don't do that the engine will run lean and that will blow up the engine. Be very careful with that.

Yes!
I dont think these guys actually read the comments. Commented on why the 350z kept over heating and how to fix it. That was way back too.
Hey guys, for the paddles Checkout the PCS Paddle Shifter Kit. Stangkilr used them in the ZL1500 build.
Kit just plugs into the TCU, ECU.
Check the condition of the subframe body bushings to see if they aren't bad. Even the newer stock bushings don't hold up well. You can switch out to polyurethane bushings as they are stiffer. The bolt torque specs for the 4 subframe to body bolts are 75-90 ft lbs. Factory assembly manual calls for minimum of 60 ft lbs after a roll test. The 2 front radiator support bushing bolts should be 30-40 ft lbs.
I don't recall these guy's using a torque wrench on anything.

Good to see Thomas again, he used to be a daily fixture of each Goonzquad episode, back in the day.
Yeah, I miss Thomas too.
He’s looking so majestic now!
Dang Sauce replaced him
IKR
Thomas was glad to see you guys, don't forget your home..
The screen on the newer Camaro looks like it could fit into the hole for the old one. It might be tough but it would be cool if that fit too
It won't work without the original ecu...most of modern car screens are not mainly multimedia or radio
Maybe if they use the bcm from the donor car
@@kennedymutinda4806 yup, it wouldnt work without the ecu. i think they are going to have to use just a normal double din radio.
@@audidriver53 nah that seems like alot of work..also remember that the screen is not the audio amplifier..the amplifier is separate from the screen..in this they just need a simple radio with an amp
also they could take the measures if it doesn't fit 100% well, take the measures and the screen to a 3d printing place and they will get it for very cheap
Awesome !!! I totally mentioned those fence inserts to u guys atleast a couple of times. Glad to see your using that option. It's just plain better for privacy and for your property
That "boat" shifter is actually called an "H" shifter and is worth TONS of money if it's not an after market replica. Don't lose it.
yeah they destroyed the dash in that old parts car and could have sold it. I guess if you have the money to vacation in Dubai then that's not a problem then.
Work harder and don’t complain what someone else has. Everyone and everything is different. These guys built this all off a smartphone camera and pure knowledge so who’s the real fool because you should have both. 😊.
@@willeeeee7768 not complaining. if they want to burn their money in a ditch I don't care. It's their money. I just thought being such clever businessmen that they'd know the value of the items they were trashing for expediency. a few hundred here, a few hundred there and before you know it , it adds up.
Don't get me wrong, these guys hustle. They put in a lot of work to do these videos. 99% of it we don't see. I do wish they'd focus more on the build than taking trips to the store. Did we really need to see both trips to the drive shaft place in one video?
They were also called Staple shifter
@@willeeeee7768 D-Ridaaa!
You guys need to look into some frame rail connectors, it should help stiffen up the chassis and alleviate some of that flex your getting.

@@Fred-yf8on And what are you driving there big Fred? You strike me as a beat down 75 bug guy.
CALL BEN (Vtuned) you may have to weld some strength/stiffening plates. You’ll lose power with flex. Fix the flex and you’ll have more power!
No
@@ezacher4634 no u
@@soggysammich2211 😅
It's not necessarily having more power. it's just that without the flex it'll be able to put the power down more without losing traction, and will corner better.
First of all, nobody needs to call Ben to do anything but straighten a factory car. He’s a terrible fabricator. second, the front section of the frame on this car only goes back to you about where the front seats are. And it’s mounted to the car in rubber. It’s designed to flex like that.
Loose subframe bolts or bad subframe rubber mounts. Even my 67 RS/SS convertible doesn't flex like that. Get it sorted because that flex will affect your door/fender gaps among other things. Really loving this build, guys!!
Awsome work as always fellors, cant wait to see this finished...Craig from Australia
Do it all around the property. That’ll be a big help for shop privacy
Privacy screens are a lot easier and not see through.
yeah it makes it hardr to climb the fence too. cant stick your feet in the chain link holes if the slats are in.
Or they should do a mesh screen with Goonzquad Garage written on it
@@Ayoo498 definitely way easier. I can’t imagine how long those slats would take around the whole property
You can see through that privacy fence, I'd go darker to barely see through....

LOVE the privacy fence ! Do it all around. You guys are killing it
Dude it was nice seeing Ol Thomas the technician!😁😁
Congratulations for you guys to do such a custom build by yourselves and learning throughout the process. I personally, would prefer to use a donor car, and transfer with the engine, all the ECU's, electronics, modules and wiring harness. It would also allow to be more easily serviced and maintained.
I have to say, I was not for that center console at first, but after y'all got it in I like it. That is awesome! My dream car is a complete factory 67 RS/SS Camero, so changing the factory shifter and other interior parts out is a hard no to me, but this is a restomod so it's fine and looks amazing.
Loving this build and really like how you’re doing a mix of old and new, excellent idea on that console. Going to be epic once it’s finished.
I was amazed that the new center could fit in the old Camaro(looks great as well) and even get the wireless charging pad to work too.
LOVE the modern center console in the car! Looks awesome! If you can get the modern steering wheel in there that would be cool as well....
Keep going boys I think you’re brilliant and keep dad in the vids it’s lovely and shows how much he means to you
Can't wait to see it done love how is coming out with the old look with the new look.
Genius! This car is starting to become something special!
Billy they put big blocks in those camaro.sometimes the bolts in the back of the sub frame is all ovaled out .we always put all new bushings (rubber ) back it place some of ours had the metal around the bolts and bushings all rusted out .we just cut it out even and welded a new patch back into the frame .(Uni body frame )you have two bushings on each side so four total that's bolted to the floor and holds the frame onto the uni body frame .When we purchased a car in those years first thing is jack it up and see if the bushings are bad and what is serious is the hole through the frame bigger than the bushings to hold it .we always fix ours though .Next time the first thing is check the uni body bushings first .
Keep it going boys yall doing good can't wait to see it complete.
That first black lockable mailbox is the one you need. I have it. Holds a TON of mail including medium sized packages, plus the added security is always a plus.
Who gets mail?
@@1one3_Racing everyone, bud
I'm surprised they got one that can easily be opened. Probably doesn't use that address for important mail.
That mailbox is too high I’m pretty sure. Also, do you not have a sledge hammer? If not, drive that heavy ass TRX up something leaned onto it to drive it deeper so it doesn’t wobble
Might want to consider running a wider tire in the back if you can for added traction…. Looks like you got the brakes situated….. put together a solid suspension setup and your good…. Worst case get ahold of TY from the Cleetus crew and have him put together a plan to stiffen the frame for you and Dr tune em all to get her burning right👍
Depends if they have it mini-tubbed if it is they can definitely run a thicc boi
Nice build goonzquad !!!!!! Me and my brother just picked up our 327 motor for our family owned since new 1967 camaro r.s. s.s. that's been stored since 1978 , I'm gonna do all the paint and body work , I've been a " paint , body guy for 45 years , so thanks to you goonzquad I'm building our own 67 camaro !!!!!!
Dude! An RS, SS? You got yourself a Unicorn project! If, by chance, you can keep it numbers matching and as close to original as possible. All I can say is ¢ha~¢hing! Ja¢kpot❗ Best of luck, sir!
@@theanomalous1401 thanks Greg, our 67 has the " hide away" headlights , original vinyl roof in good original condition , the white on black stripe seats , the " fake" hood vents and so on ......
@@jeffreygortz6146 One thing that you may find fun and interesting is learning how to decipher the Vin number and build sheets. The information you derive will help you during the restoration process. As a Mopar guy, I used Galen Govier, as a "go to" resource on the Dodge Coronet R/T I used to own.(and wish like Hell, I had back!)
Cool build. Nice fitting the old center console. The update with wireless charging is on point.
Can't wait to see that classic finished
Keep up the great work
Thank y'all so much for making the video longer.
They said they would after the races, bucks night and wedding.
You need the weld in frame connectors in that car to connect the front and rear subframes.
Great video guys! It felt like the content that hooked me a few years ago!
Hi guys. You definitely gotta put a trut bar to help with the flexing. Good luck!!

I used to do fencing like that. We took a small piece of flat stock the lengths of the slats (added another horizontally at the end and a "handle" to make it looks like a sword) and put it in the middle of the slats to keep them rigid and then sprayed the slats with WD-40. That made installing those much easier.
it is so good to see our goonzquad back as we love them. With their hands on cars.
Love watching your videos. Keep doing what you are doing. Love from south Africa.
Yo Ulrich, hoe gaan dit?
Amazing video guys, keep up the amazing builds
That uni body has kits you can buy to connect the front and rear uni- body frames together, which I would do anyway because of the horsepower you are gonna run, I had a 850 horse 427 in my 76 camaro and first time I took it to the track and jerked on 2nd gear the whole car twisted almost like a pretzel. And on that front suspension, I wold put moog big block springs and a set of bilstein gas shocks , you will get the right height from the springs and a smooth race handling ride in the front ,nothing else is gonna handle and steer as good.
You could get the privacy sticks for fence in colours and spell out goonzquad on front fence and keep out on sides and back fences , cheers
I love that the goodsquad has their dad with them. I love him as much as the boys!
Make sure that you reinstall that drive shaft safety loop. With all that power you do not want the driveshaft rip out the rear end if the front universal joint should fail. There are videos of this happening on CZcams.
Love seeing the footage of you guys working on the cars again. Don’t get me wrong…love watching everything but definitely nostalgic for the older videos where you guys showed more of the work.
My frame connectors are welded in place instead of bolted, it makes a difference, As for the driveshaft go with 1350 ujoints at each end
Im gettin misty eyed watching Pops work with his sons on these projects. I should have done this with my dad, he would have wanted to.
Front subframe needs to be tightened up better.. that’s why it moves when you lift it up and sit it down.
In 1978 we had a 1969 Camaro and we had a 396 big block motor in it and we didn't need no frame support but we did put on traction bars onto the leaf springs to keep the tires firmly on the ground...
@goonzquad
Hey there young fellas. Simon and Elizar, I'm almost 54 years old. I bought my first Camaro when I was 21, it was a 79RS T-Top 383 stroker with a manual 4 speed manual and a 411 rearend.
I've had 9 of the 2nd gen body Camaros.
That frame should ABSOLUTELY NOT be drooping like that on the lift. You DEFINITELY have an issue with either the body/frame, bushings/bolts.
Something is either missing, loose or broken. It SHOULDN'T do that when lifted. Something is up under that car. I would inspect everything, particularly the front upper body bushings at the firewall.
Love your videos, always interesting and entertaining. Keep up the excellent work fellas. Great to see young men interested in American musclecars.
Much love and blessings from southwestern Pennsylvania.
GBY and your family. 😊🙏🏻🕊🙏🏻
Stay strong guys y’all made it ❤
How do I do that?
Dm
It's always a good day when Goonzquad uploads! Keep doing the good work guys! 💪
You should add a relay from an accessory wire for the brake switch to unlock the shifter. That way the key has to be on to get it out of gear
You should definitely reinforce the chassis, making it as rigid as possible
Nice touch with the center concil and shifter set up was wondering if the seats from the newer seats would fit.👍
Great idea on the console and shifter, looks awesome. The engine cradle flex was interesting and something to keep an eye on too. I think some extra bracing there might be in order.
With that strong of an engine I would think about a full frame, for sure!
Dont they make frame connectors for camaro's ?
I loved watching your show it's amazing with guys what you doing with the project
Yalllllll that center console looks absolutely Amazing you better keep it in there!!😍😍🙏🏽
Gotta strengthen that frame!!
MAIL BOX: Get one that locks!! You will DEFINITELY have mail thieves in that neighborhood if you don't.
The mail will go with the whole box when it gets stolen !
I don't know what kind of radio that you like. But I have a JVC radio model KW-V250BT in my 2004 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor that I really like. It has siriusxm tuner plug that can be added to it, it comes with blue tooth, DVD/Cd player, you can connect different phones to it to stream different multi media like Pandora, I heart radio and others. You can add a back up camera to it also. I have one on mine. It's really a nice radio for the price. Not to brag but I really like mine.
Hope you all marked the nut and checked the rotation torque on the differential yoke before you removed it. That style rear end uses a crush sleeve for bearing preload.
Ohhh yeah
SIMPLY BUILT IS BACK
GO GOONZQUAD GO
That console swap was a great idea. I'm just a little surprised at how well it fit. I guess GM used some of the prior dna from the old school Camaro when they built the new one.
Great touch I like these type of details in retro mods
@@_-0_x_-_p_0-_ pretty sure it’s an automatic
My Pops always told me "When in doubt, build it stout". I enjoy when your Pops gives advise, probably because we are close to the same age.
Dude love the retro modern Camaro idea.
Keep it clean
Love the center console!! Maybe try the seats too
Unleashed channel is easily just as good, also bring back fan mail
that rubber on the driveshaft is a flex joint. its for a car with independent rear suspension where the driveshaft doesnt move with the suspension since the rear end is fixed to the body. straight axle rear ends need a shaft with 2 u joints
You should definitely install that oem audio system as well and the keys if they can be done !
Good to see thomas the technician again. You guys need a shop cat.
Thomas is a Beast.
He’s is, boy been eating those Momma Goon leftovers 😂
Loving the progress on the '67 guys. She gonna be fire for sure.
love seeing Thomas again miss him as you are at the new shop
I just want to say that I appreciate how Simeon and Billy have been conducting themselves lately ever since the issue with the Porsche pieces. I think they genuinely are trying to make amends and are working at focusing more on cars and car builds and less in talking and promoting. I think they’re alright.
What are you referring to!? I’m interested to know?
Please explain. “Conducting themselves?” They’ve been the same since day 1 and making amends for what? By the sound of it this channel doesn’t seem to be for you.
What issues with the Porsche pieces?
Ok... I'll bite. What issue??
I’m with everyone else wtf do you mean lol
Make sure to replace that driveshaft shield, if the driveshaft fails it will catch it , causing less accessory damage.
Been watching you guys for over 3 years now. And w that new hoodie drop?? I just now finally bought my first merch from y’all. DAAANG SOONN!!! 🔥🔥
The Lord is truly blessing you guys! Always stay humble and never forget where your blessings come from!
You guys should do a whole modern camero interior that would be crazy
WTF is a "camero"
Sooo hype for this!!
Bro y’all are full energy, for a moment your content felt a little off but this is the stuff I like to see. Grinding out a beautiful car
also get the frame rail connectors to tie the front end to the rear, it will help with the flex
Is the subframe tied? That will add alot of strength. And may want to add solid body bushings
Hey guys when are you going to build a house for the mom , pops up on the mountain 👍☺️
. Glad y'all r back, 👍.. . That' Camaro gonna be a beast
Doubled up shade cloth around the outer fence would be an easier privacy solution, virtually see through and still looks great
Put the full frame on the camaro now so you guys don't have to do it later to save you guys the time later in the long run
Nice work! You guys should swap the ZL1 seats into the Camaro as well
You need a good strong set of weld in frame connectors if the car makes enough power you can rip the quarter panels above the rear window
As always highly entertaining. Also glad to see something going right with that Camaro.
gotta love shoving self-tappers into everything... so professional...

Great job on the console, man that thing is Sweeeet!
Salmon an William you both are very bless i love your shows an i love Pop to. Keep up the good work guys
That console idea amazes me and the fact that it worked well
And good to see Thomas
It's a unibody you you need to connect both bottom half together on both sides that's what we did on my dad's 71 Nova SS 396
I had a unibody Camero, I added a square tubbing sub rail connector both sides from front to rear and it stiffen it up (No more twisting) easy fix. I think you might want to look into this.
Frame connectors. I had to do this on my Camaro. I had a 67 which required it. When I installed a big block.
Awesome idea for the center console guys. I know you could do it.
