So cute what you just said. We could probably add fluffy billowy clouds, soft kittens and whatever else gives a person comfort and peace to their brain. Cuz that is just what she does. Of all the art I enjoy right now. She's my favorite. She's not just a joy, she's revolutionary. I don't think that SHE even know's what she has done. She's just a talented little girl that loves music. And little does she realize that in her little small but important way, she's changing the frickin' world.
I didn't know Regina till I watched this show. I had downloaded it to see Jessica Biel's interview and ended enjoying Regina's performance very much. I even downloaded her albums. I hope her record label releases her albums in Brazil so I can buy them. And I hope she comes to Brazil someday. I'd love to see her live.
Amazing--I love watching Regina. Watching this video just put a grin on my face. She's really a delight to watch! :) I can't wait for her new album--scheduled to be released in June!! :)
I am grateful to Letterman, I had not seen or heard Regina Spektor until I saw this last night on his show. I looked her up and found her music video of this same song. After viewing both I prefer this version of just her at the piano. Her videos are clever with lots of animation, but this song in particular is better without all the added hooplah. She's brilliant and I have to agree with another commenter who wrote that Letterman did not give her her proper due at the end of her performance.
We expect perfection out of Regina because she usually always give it to us. So to me, even when she's odd or screws up completely, from now on i'm just gonna call everything she does perfect. I guess i'm just in love with the girl :)
There might be little bitty comparisons of how & where she performs, but I think she does great on any venue. My problem with this particular video is not with her, but with Letterman not making the fuss I think he should have :) Maybe that's me, but I'm always in defensive mode when it comes to our girl :) Who's with me? :)
I agree, too. I saw her other videos and it may be her being so young and vulnerable but she has variations on where she performs. I love her anyhow. I did not like David Letterman's way of introducing this talented girl.
THe dj did NOT fall asleep. Clearchannel left the computer running in place of the dj and it F***ed up!!!! If radio were to stick with live and local djs life would be a lot better!!!!
@redstrabrerreez Hahaha i laughed so hard when i read that because i thought the same thing! I'm was just happy i found a new song then i said WAIT this i that dumbass David Letterman =P
It seems her performances on the talk shows are not quite as good. Having watched a whole lot of her youtube videos the ones from lalapalooza were just beyond this world. I think that maybe she is not quite as relaxed on television. It is just one song after all, and more pressure. i could totally see how the format could hinder a performance a bit.

Now that's something I can agree with :)

shes such a little girl
shes awesome lol
on the radi-YO!
love this song, amazing lyric about 'November rain' lol
Letterman doesn't make enough fuss over Regina. He acts a little clueless. I don't think he realized what just graced his stage.

Done purposefully.
SPEKTOR! Beware!
@rawfullcopterz Every time I sing this song, that's what I say, because that's the ONLY way to get that effect.
She doesn't seem as nervous in this televised performance as her recent ones.
Or is that just me?
I agree, too. I saw her other videos and it may be her being so young and vulnerable but she has variations on where she performs. I love her anyhow.

I agree. definitely rushed. blech. but she's still awesome.

hah always in defensive mode too, inevitable..
in this video her singing is a lil'bit odd though..
love you regi!
I LOVE HOW EVERYTHING YOU WROTE MAKES NO SENSE HAHAHAHA
i think she's dirt tired of singin that song..
@redstrabrerreez Hahaha i laughed so hard when i read that because i thought the same thing! I'm was just happy i found a new song then i said WAIT this i that dumbass David Letterman =P
That's because you have bad ears for listening to music. I can hear the piano just fine.

Yeah I agree is not her best
