Grand Canyon In A Day...Running A Rim 2 Rim 2 Rim

A Grand Canyon Rim to Rim to Rim in a single push. This is a bucket list item for many trail runners, hikers and outdoor enthusiasts. Chris and Chris along with their friend August made the trip out from Maine to Arizona to check this one off their bucket list. The weather forecast did not inspire confidence but we were at the South Kaibab trailhead at 5:30am to give it our all. And we did. 13 hours, 110,000 vertical feet, quite a bit of snow, and 47 miles later, we returned to the South Rim tired, exhausted but feeling accomplished. What an experience.
