- Hi everyone! This is a Membership video that I wanted to share with everyone, I think it's a great weave and sets you up for many options!
If you are not already a member find the join button on my channel homepage and get started!
In this video, I am showing you how to weave the Figure 8 bale and set the wires up for the Capture of the stone in my designed called Dragon Veins Pendant. I separated this bale video so I can use it for other projects that start this way for you and also so you can refer back easily. The next video will contain this bale weave and then the capture. This is a 3 part tutorial and fully detailed. Weave takes longer ;) At the end of the video, you can jump into the Dragon Veins Pendant Part 1 and start wrapping some more! I hope you love this!

Hi Izzy, I was wondering if you were going to show us how you capture a gemstones after you do the bail this way? I was looking all over the place for the next part, and I can't find it🤔
Thank you for sharing your creative Talent with us and I really love following your designs from start to finish. Learning some little tricks of the trade from you. Thanks again💖💖💖
Good morning, Sandy, this is actually a complete members tutorial... I published the bale weave for the public, but if you are interested in this pendant, it is in the Members tutorials. I have a monthly Tutorial Membership for $8.95 a month... and you get all the Member videos plus the free videos, plus the monthly live stream! I hope you'll join. Here is the link to that Members video, it will ask you to join before you can watch it. That $8.95 is a per month charge for everything in Members area, not a per video charge. This is Part 1 of the pendant, there are 3 parts and they are linked at the end of the video or in the description. czcams.com/video/sXbrAzAnB7c/video.html
That really is the hardest part of a pendant, weaving between base wires that get closer together. I am looking for a trick to make it easier, but i am beginning to think there is no trick, that it’s just going to take forever to make these pendants i have set out to make. They are drop shaped and my weaving wire is 24 gauge, which makes it even harder to keep the weave from sliding up. I think the next thing I’m gonna try is annealing the weaving wire.
Thanks for this comment! Yes, 24g is quite a bit larger, I'd probably anneal that gauge if I were weaving with it too. You might try 26g or 28g if you have them, the smaller wire might be easier to weave this bale with. Thanks for watching!🙏😀
Hi! Have you ever sold at a craft show? If so how would you sell pendants without chains? Do you make the chains beforehand or make the chains/clasps at the show according to whatever length, size, etc. the buyer wants? Also, love your creative videos!
Thanks for asking, I used to sell at shows but I do not sell at shows anymore. I only sell online now worldwide. I sell every pendant with a chain. I find that 20" is the preferred length for most adults. I hope that helps. When I used to sell st shows I would bring an entire tool kit so that if I needed to shorten the chains I could do that on the spot.
PS, likewise if someone wanted a longer chain I would have my little spool of large chain lengths so that I could make a 2 or 3" extension on the spot.
@@PerfectlyTwistedJewelry Thank you so much for the quick and helpful response! Have a wonderful day/night!
