Actually a beast mode would be putting the senior motor on the magic clipper. I had a friend that has done it and says that the "magic clipper" becomes a beast, lots of power and extremely light. But I don't know how to change a motor, can you do a video on that?

Just to have something different I would say! I just did a podcast about tools and our main topic was how wahl isn’t making anything new. Same clippers basically as always. Other companies are making the covers and accessories. Everybody likes custom!

They're milking the barber school 'wahl senior/ andis masters' culture and make a killing offering dated clippers to thousands of barbers every year who are by far their biggest market. Hell, Premier cutts called out the clipper industry for refusing to put a $2 LCD screen on clippers that even $20 chinese knockoff clippers have. As funny as it sounds, the real innovation is coming from Chinese knockoff sellers on Aliexpress lol.

I switch all mine to the taper blade. That may help. And a new cutting blade ceramic or regular could help!

I had that issue with my cordless magic clip also. Haven’t had it for too long, but the blade feels dull. Kind of disappointed.

The more you mess with it it does get louder. The blade swap should be alright though

I’m not sure if it’s any cooler. I don’t have any problems with blades getting hot. Never really noticed a difference
