I enjoy your chit chatty videos, I like hearing a little bit about what's been going on with you and love the reading tips. Life for me did an about face with what I thought my plans were. I thought I would be traveling more with my van. My Mom is getting frail and I am spending time with her. I'm going through what so many people do-going into caretaker mode.
I enjoy these perfect mix kinds of videos... with a little of everything, life updates, reviews and yes, mini reading/demo for inspiration, too! 🥰
Actually, I really like your chit chatty videos where you cover multiple topics, not just tarot. it’s far more interesting to hear about different layers of your life than just about one thing.
BTW, I just purchased the creative act by Rick Rubin. I have heard of this book multiple times in the past, but I have never read it. I decided it’s time for me to do that. Thank you for another great, thoughtful video.

I echo what others are saying about enjoying your chit chatty videos! There's so much fun and I kind of hope you'll continue doing them in the future. I recently made an entire oracle deck and printed them for personal use - that was a game changer! Also gave away a few novelty tarot decks I wasn't using to a friend. Feeling better now that I'm gradually combining all my practices into one and working with the essential core aspects of my craft again. Looking forward to your next video!

Love seeing your crochet Grace, those bags are beautiful, and free-handed, that's some skill! You laughing at your first poppet is what I need to do with my imperfect creations (that 1st poppet looked fine to me though 😊).

Oh I've read this book! I also borrowed it from the library, in German, but when I saw it in a bookshop in English (they don't have much in English, but they had this) I needed to buy it. 20 years ago, I dreamed of a book and that sign that is on the cover. I HAD to buy it, and it was so worth it! I have read it twice, and now I'm dabbling here and there, and also pull tarot cards on some paragraphs, when I feel like it.

My year is going ok, can’t complain really. But it does have a stagnant, thick, sticky feel to it. Not that I needed any encouragement to purchase another bourse plant, but I always admire your fern like plant behind you when you film with the other backdrop, so I am now the owner of a Radermachera sinica (china doll) and it’s growing like a weed! As you asked, this year is treating me like an old chew toy that’s been fought for by two mutts haha. I have no other words. It’s not a fave. Loving carving out little bits of creativity myself and knocking perfectionism where I can.
As to the videos. I do enjoy a focused video when they’re on those specific kinds of topics, but I’ll watch however they come when I like the individual. So pretty chill here lol. Not helpful I’m sure.

The Creative Act is great! I have it on Audible and enjoyed it so much! I need to listen to it again. I've also been listening to Robert McFarland's books. I started with The Wild Places, and wow, just wow. He walked all over the UK and went into the history, geography, biomes, and myths of each area. So enjoyable, If you like that sort of thing, I recommend his work. I feel like I am right there with him on his adventures. Like you, once I modify a deck, it quits reading for me. I've been getting the mini or tin size lately, even replacing standard decks and this makes the deck easier to shuffle, and sometimes they read better. For instance, Morgan Greer tarot doesn't "talk" to me in the standard size, but the mini does. Go figure! I just recently sent 10 decks off to charity. I no longer purchase oracle decks as I don't use them much, and I have a few tried and trues I always reach for. I haven't been reading cards as much lately, but starting to go back and work on my art more. Seasons come and seasons go, don't they? ✌️❤️🕯🪄🎨🙋♀️
