You need a lot of money just to maintain the truck, when you customize it it’s even more. I changed professions, now I fix trucks. All the big companies are killing the small outfits and owner operators. With diesel, in some states , over 6$ a gallon ….fuel economy of 5 miles to the gallon you do the math and think how much money you need to get paid in a month to cover all your expenses. One steer tire it’s 500$, 1 oil change is a minimum of 300( depending where you go, what’s included in it) tolls…just a small example, I’m not gonna get into details And yes, I hope all owner operators are surviving in these hard times.

@@stoneloc8979 peterbilt parts cost on avg twice the amount of freightliner and dont forget cummins and paccar is what are used in petes, both those engine parts cost twice in general than detroit. Old petes use cat and detroits but that still goes to the same thing, cat parts cost twice as detroits.

today i meet the guy in the red classic with the custom sleeper from canada that pulls the RGN.. i went over to see his amazing truck and he had to be the biggest piece of shit ever !! i went to admire his truck and he pretty much said get away he did say " i'm not into that show and online shit " in his back window his has a sticker in writing that says" OPTIMUS PRIME IS MY BITCH" im sure his referring to this truck ..
That truck could look 20 times better if it didn't have that many lights especially in the bumper and roof , i would also have diff style of grill and bumper but yeah everything else ok
