- We are riding the brand new Royal Enfield Himalayan or also know as the Himalayan 450 which comes equipped with the first ever liquid-cooled 452cc engine from RE. In our first ride review, we are very impressed by the performance, dynamics as well as comfort, so is it the best VFM adventure bike in the world?

1. Reserve fuel
2. Vibrations on pegs and tank
3. Windshield adjustment and buffetting
4. engine heat
5. Tyre grip on offroads
6. Long distances seat comfort
Royal Enfield has managed to reduce vibration a lot
Also some changes to tank side now its 17 LTRS I think we can easily cover 450 or 400
They will cover all these points on their detailed review once the bikes will be available in showroom and at their respective locations.
This was just a media trial testing to just get a basic idea of the product.
I'm impressed by the high-revving nature of this single-cylinder engine (from the reviews). Very curious to ride this revised version as I originally found the Himalayan to be a bit underpowered for fast highways. In any case, great review as always!

Highest torque from single cylinder Royal Enfield is not of Himalayan 450 but of Continental GT 535 which puts out 42 nm, which i happen to own in black colour.

If budget isn't an issue go for Himalayan if yes then pick the scrambler!

Remember Apache RTR 310? TVS just marked its place as an Indian brand again... And so with the Himalayan 450, RE gonna create a huge fan following again in India as well as in abroad❤❤
If RTR 310 is a Racing DNA, I must say it's a Sherpa DNA... Can't expect the perfection like a 20 lakh' bike but time will answer all confusions...
From a utilitarian side, and as a first time rider, would you recommend this or the V-Strom 250?
Edit - I have a 2nd hand Gixxer naked 250 already, but the places I go to often lead to it's underside scraping against mud or rocks! I have to upgrade, maybe in 6 months?

@@Farhan_049Nope Never... It's a street bike designed as adventure.... Go for Suzuki 250 or ktm Adv 250 if your not on tight budget....
There's one more budget option that is yet to release... Hero adv 440 based on harley engine...
