- Rebecca found this mirror she fell in love with at Anthropologie, but it was really expensive so we headed out to find the supplies to make our own version that cost us a fraction of the price. This project needed very few supplies and took us no time to make!

I saw a tip on GingerChickRehab where she now uses Dollar Tree contact paper instead of blue tape. She spreads it across the mirrors and cuts it right to the edge of the frame. So far it's worked beautifully for her and she's able to use the face of the mirror to put her tools on. Seems like it would take way less time to lay that out than to cut a thousand little pieces of blue tape, plus the mirror is protected as well. I'm gonna try that on my next craft.

Whoa! I am impressed! Honestly, I haven't found a diy on creating this kind of mirror that I like. I feel like the mirror represents opulence and every detail from the metal look of the frame to the gold tone, add to that, so they're usually too flat for me. But this one is very close and I love how you customized the appliques to create a design you liked.
