One day I had him open the Quran translation randomly and the ayah he came to was:
وَمَا هَٰذِهِ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَآ إِلَّا لَهۡوٞ وَلَعِبٞۚ وَإِنَّ ٱلدَّارَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ لَهِيَ ٱلۡحَيَوَانُۚ لَوۡ كَانُواْ يَعۡلَمُونَ
(Dr. Mustafa Khattab)
This worldly life is no more than play and amusement. But the Hereafter is indeed the real life, if only they knew.
-Surah Al-Ankabut, Ayah 64
فَإِذَا رَكِبُواْ فِي ٱلۡفُلۡكِ دَعَوُاْ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ فَلَمَّا نَجَّىٰهُمۡ إِلَى ٱلۡبَرِّ إِذَا هُمۡ يُشۡرِكُونَ

Suffering , for what i see around me is just hurting the goodness in my soul. Yes a nice guy because niceness has absolutely nothing to do with believe in a god. Being ethical and doing the right thing by other people, that’s absolutely nothing to do with believing in God. You can completely eliminate God out of the consciousness of a human mind and still have humans with good ethics. Who do the right thing and generally are just good people.

I became a Muslim in 2018 and I lost all my family and friends they all stopped talking to me, I knew this was going to happen and I still did not allow myself to not choose what I believe I feel so blessed that God choose me and keep me strong believe, I pray for my family that one day they will accept me as it was my choice to follow what I believe and I don’t just believe I educate myself every single day about Islam and feel more proud of myself being a Muslim. It’s huge decision to make when comes about religion but education comes first. Respect my family and I pray that they will accept me as their daughter, sister, friend. Yes I lost my people I feel sad and I miss them. But this doesn’t make me to go back because I love God and God is enough for me ❤

as a convert I used to have this mentality, being to skeptical, its because everything seems so confusing and you want solid confirmation but the amazing thing that the truth has is how it connects to the fitrah and you can literally feel the truth connect with your heart, whether you want it or not. this brother is understanding, deep within his heart he logically agrees to the reasoning. but he is not willing to surrender himself to that reasoning by reason that he doesnt have drive or interest to seek more knowledge about his existence as he is satisfied with the way his life is now, just like most of the people today. he is overwhelmed by the information that its too good to be true and that he doesnt want to subject himself with the additional laws to follow and the prohibitions that it comes with it(as he has friends and family of muslim act subject to restrictions) it is no longer convinient for him to follow it. may this brother find his way to the correct path than be satisfied with this living world.

Just an example when babies cries then mummy knows it’s time to feed so when we sincerely seek for guidance then ask ourselves or show that we are need of true guidance in Sha Allah we shall be shown signs and b guided like baby get to fed when cries so ignorance comes from devil and true knowledge comes from the creation through the revelations
