VIDEO INTRODUCTION: On the 11th of June 2022, the reserve bank of India released a very very important document about the economy of the States of India. Some of our Indian states have been managing their finances so bad that these states could be heading towards the same state as Sri Lanka's economy!! And we all know what's happening in Sri Lanka right now!
and The worst part is that if this continues for a long time, the entire country of India will lose money and could face another economic crisis!
The question Why is this RBI document comparing Indian states to the economic crisis in Sri Lanka?
How are these states doing the same mistakes as the Sri Lankan government?
And most importantly as citizens of India what are pointers that you need to keep eye on before you cast your vote for the so-called leaders of India?
and if this makes sense to you please share this video with as many people as possible to educate India about this critical issue!

I am from Odisha... A few years ago Odisha was considered to be the poorest state of India... After some bold moves and strategic investment of the government the state economic conditions have improved drastically... It has one of the lowest Debt % and lowest interest payment ratio %... This happens when the state is run by Brains (Referring to IAS Mr. V.K Pandiyan sir) and not by freebies... I admit freebies like rice at Rs.2, rations, many such things are provided but they are mostly for people who are in need... Happy to be born in such a state 😄❤️
    .
    .
    .
Still many don't know where is Odisha or and will ask what it has done... To them just go and search for some of the crucial administrative positions held by Odias... U will get to know ☺️🙏

Yes i do agree but we definitely need to accelerate in terms of developing our roads , cities and attract foreign investments . For a state with so less political instability since the last 25 years , we have done so less in terms of developing . We need more cities like BBSR , Rourkela , Balasore to attract foreign investments

@@mnreddy24i think you don't know things , thare are many international rational rating agencies which will keep an eye on economy of countries ( i.e, how much loans a particular country is taking and what ways it is spending the money) , once you are going in a bad way these agencies will decrease our points , which in return makes difficult for countries to borrow money and even increase in the interest rates, so for your kind info central government always be regulated automatically but that is not in the case of state , even though there's "FRDM" law made by then prime minister atal ji regarding financial stability they aren't following the case , which became a problem

It's actually good to assume that if government stops giving subsidies and freebies all the money will be directed towards the development of the country. But unfortunately that will happen only in a ideal case not in country like India where all the money goes into politicians pockets. Corruption is the problem which should be addressed that consumes a major chunk of the states revenue and not the facilities provided to the people

I'm from Rajasthan, here Mr. Gehlot brought back the OPS(Old Pension Scheme) and all the govt. employees are cheering to it like they don't give a damn about State economy. Mentality of people is very selfish, many govt employee having a lot of lands, getting money from farms still want OPS. Moreover in my neighboring villages people enjoy free electricity... the basic problem is people think that govt have some jaadu ka pitara and they don't even think about country they are just enjoying all this for free and then blaming government.
Culturally Rajasthan is a very great state but economically we haven't shown any miracles.

Not to mention, the funds can not be controlled manually. Also, while the average might beat inflation, if you need to withdraw during a downturn, you are f#kd.
Countries in Europe which implement this system like the UK, Ireland, Switzerland, Sweden have state backed social system which plugs the gap when there is a downfall in returns. But educating people about economy is very important. Till it never happens, governments will throw future generation into further debt burden. And they will ensure their relatives, friends, party guys get JOB and pensions for life time.

I am a banker working in a PSU Bank for the last 6 years. Am from Bengal. Having worked with people from the grassroots level of society I can confirm that the common people of West Bengal have no idea about the problems facing the state or even have the desire to know about it. All they want are the monthly doles that the state government provides. They think taking out political processions on the streets would probably solve everything. Situation is not at all good. We are eagerly waiting for the collapse of the Mamata Banerjee government.

One the Bengali people are afraid that a BJP victory would mean a Gujrati or a person from the Hindi belt becoming the CM of Bengal, Second a BJP victory would mean end of doles, subsidies and people will be left high and dry. This is partially because over the last 40 years or so the Bengalis has been constantly told by the left front and Allies that Capitalism and business is bad. Mamata Banerjee doesn't have to answer to anyone for failing to lure investors coz people don't even think about investments!! And lastly very few people actually understand or think about the political and economic situation or the future prospects of the state.

Most of Bengal's problem really stem from mindset prevalent in Kolkata.....almost everyone is in an endless show-off competition of 'virtue signaling' and how 'concerned' they are for society...The 'Hindi-speaking ppl' are demonized by Kolkata commies as some sort of evil hive-mind ppl who are constantly planning to damage them...the Kolkata feminists are basically man-haters ..they will vote anyone who brings a new scheme that directly give money to women in their bank account.....the 'unions' are basically political entities and have stopped several initiatives. Being a Sri Lankan, I'm utterly ashamed to hear the conditions in Sri Lanka referred to be "Pathetic" but, factually speaking, what this man mentions here are acceptable.
Even before the independence, socialist parties in Sri Lanka introduced the concepts of hartal, strikes and free loading to the public in which were embraced with lots of love as they are people pleasing without being considerate on the long term effects on the economy. Consequent governments since then continued this pleasing the free loading socialists as if they weren't offered, the socialists trade unions taking the public sector workers in masses to street to protest against the government and bring the flow of economy into a halt. Again, assessing the economic impact caused by these socialist trade unions through their trade Union actions are comparably way larger and heavily impactful than what ~30 years of war caused to the economy of Sri Lanka.
Even at this very crisis stricken moment, these socialist trade unions are threatening the government with strikes until their demands are met (teacher's socialists trade union lead a country wide strike in 2021 to resolve a wage issue for over 20 years, during the peak of the pandemic as they knew well that gov would do anything at such a desperate time. This causes the gov to print additional amount of money to pay them which lead the path to have an unbearable inflation in this year).
Thus, make your state gov to stick to facts not people pleasing short-term disasters.
