Ricordo il giovane Salvatore Accardo degli anni 1960, quando suonava con mio zio Lodovico Lessona, ed a me, pressapoco decenne, venivano le lacrime agli occhi nel sentirli eseguire le splendide sonate di Beethoven e Schubert . Un carattere gioviale, solare, da autentico 'scugnizzo' napoletano !!! Quanta allegria dopo i concerti, a casa dell'uno e dall'altro, per festeggiare a cena il buon esito dell'esecuzione saziando la fame e la sete tra mille risate !!! Ma quanta ... acqua è passata da allora sotto i ponti, e quanta Musica ha suonato il buon Accardo da quei tempi per me indimenticabili !!! Certamente il più grande violinista al mondo, io tra i suoi primissimi ... fans, come si dice ora, così come Michelangeli lo e' per il Pianoforte. D'accordo, c'è chi dice che l' uno suona in maniera troppo secca e nervosa, mentre l'altro suonava in modo forse un po' snob. Non fa niente, va bene tutto, ognuno sente la Musica come meglio gli corrisponde. La Musica è fatta per questo !!! Accardo non l'ho quasi più incontrato dopo la tragica fine dei "Solisti di Torino" ( che prego tutti voi di ricercare e ricordare ) ma vorrei salutarlo ed abbracciarlo come ai ... bei tempi !!! Se solo potessero giungere anche a lui queste mie parole ... Ciao, Salvato'
Es una maravilla escuchar al maestro Accardo. Tengo un CD de las Cuatro Estaciones de Antonio Vivaldi interpretados por Salvatore Accardo en violines Stradivarius. Es una joya de grabación que adquirí en 1988.
