Enjoy videos...I try to watch a few different trainers to have more
tools in my basket in case I need to change something slightly. You
dont start with Whoa Post?....and then transition to collar?

When you say electric stimulation are you using vibrate only or electric shock? My collar has a strong vibrate but no levels to it then of course is has the levels for shock. TIA

That’s interesting! I’ve never seen the e-collar around the belly, how do you decide which e-collar to signal to?

HELP‼️‼️I put my e collar around my dogs belly and tried with vibrate but got no response so i turned it to a 1 and she immediately started yelping and ran twords me then wouldn't leave my side

Is the belly collar the same as a neck collar only around his belly?

  • @christopherjudecortez3039

Have you whoa trained collar conditioning with only a belly collar? I only have 1 e-collar and only 1 GSP, so buying another e-collar exclusively for whoa training seems pricey to me....

Any suggestions for folks who only can only have 1 ecollar?

    • @StandingStoneKennels
      @StandingStoneKennels  Před 4 lety +1

You can use just the one collar on the belly and no neck collar, but this is not the ideal way to do this.

How in the world do you get your pup's to not pull on the lead? My boy is perfect on everything other than when that prey drive kicks in especially on walks 😩

If you want, e collar heel might also work, though im not sure how it would work with hunting dogs, as im not familiar training hunting dogs.

Why not just start on this step? Why start with the pigeons?

We believe in teaching with positive reinforcement! Then moving into building consistency with collar training!

For anyone complaining about the “cruelty” of this exercise, I’ve had twenty times the stimulation at the chiropractor’s office to loosen tense muscles.

Sad treating that dog as an inanimate object

  • @bethanuden1178

I think this is incredibly cruel. I've yet to meet a good gundog trainer in the uk who needs to resort to this to get their dogs to listen. Completely unnecessary.
