I want to say that you have always had wonderful style! One person saying you shouldn't have worn white socks with your loafers doesn't mean it didn't look great or you executed it poorly that's THEIR opinion! I also thought the nude heels looked great with your outfit for the Dior dinner, Allison always says to make an outfit interesting by wearing the "wrong" shoe anyways, and I thought it looked great!

I think you already have impeccable style and have always loved your outfits, but the tips she gave are great reminders to have specially when buying clothes and not be so wrapped up in the trends.

I’ve now seen a few content creators VERY happy with their styling appointment with Allison Bornstein. She has a really good eye and isn’t a carbon copy on the street. Glad you also learned so much and will get more use out of your existing pieces!! Learning what looks good on your new shape takes time- enjoy the process and thx for sharing some of her tips!
I found Allison’s channel a while ago and binge watched every video. I love her style because I share her love of 70’s fashion. I think when we watch a lot of social media for fashion inspiration we can start dressing for our fantasy self. I often have an idea for an outfit, try it on and it doesn’t work. Having unworn clothing in your wardrobe makes you feel so wasteful. Loved all the outfits you created together.

I love seeing the light in your eyes after meeting with her! I can’t wait to see how your style evolves after this! I would add one more word to your style though “ tailoring” . Ohhh I am so very guilty of this! I am in the stage of motherhood where your last child is fleeing the nest and now it’s just the old man and myself. And in this stage I find myself not even dressing for the day at times. Or going days before leaving the house. I feel as though I have lost my sense of style but it hasn’t stopped me from purchasing. So I’ve got a good chunk of my closet still in the dry cleaners bags that haven’t ever been worn. But if the day ever comes that I’m needed again I’ve got lots to chose from 😂

I really love this! It’s your journey from changing your body and wellness to just making yourself feel good in the clothes you have! I have been struggling with my wardrobe post pandemic. I lost 20lb during my own fitness journey and the pandemic I just wore comfy clothes. I bought a bunch of fun essentials to dress up and down to make my outfits look👌🏼

The thing I think I observed from the video is all the "rules" you have about styling and fashion you should deliberately break them. Because the ones you broke in this video turned out to be a huge success ❤

Such a fun video! Thanks for introducing Allison and her perspective on style. I have found two things really helpful as I develop my personal style. One might sound a bit antiquated, but figuring out my colours has helped me realize why I look garbage in some things I own but didn’t know why. I have also been doing Dearly Bethany’s style course, which provided a lot of clarity on my style so I have a better vision of what to buy. Instead of buying stuff because I thought it was cute, now I buy them because they match my style and who I am. Good luck with your style journey and thanks for always sharing such great content!

this is my first time watching one of your videos since I've been on an allison bornstein kick. This was a fun watch! Excited to see your second styling session vid w/ her. I also LOVE decluttering... probably more compulsively than the average person. The hard part for me is becoming more comfortable with keeping clothes I don't wear regularly and trying to be creative in styling them/learning how to use them. Videos like these help with inspiration! No idea what your background is but I grew up with hoarder parents and relate to some comments you made in this video 😅 the desire to declutter is strong

What a great idea!! It’s hard when your body shape has changed to know how to style your new shape.
After having spinal surgery in January and the months of bed rest before it I’ve put on quite a bit of weight and it’s going to take time to shift it. So right now I have no idea how to dress this shape lol. ❤
This is a great video. I think we all struggle with proportions, shape, and style. Often when we find a style we like or someone whose style we like their shape is not always the same nor their proportions. Also a huge thing I’ve noticed is on different shapes how to find cuts that create the appropriate silhouette suitable for the style in which you want to dress. Just because you have a larger chest doesn’t mean you want it to be your accentuated body part.

I love watching videos like this. I'm not big into fashion and being a double amputee I'm obviously not into shoes either but I love being able to live vicariously through everybody else. I think the nude heels looked good with you outfit for the Dior dinner.
I so glad you met up with Allison Bornstein! (I suggested her to you a few months ago!) She’s fantastic! I feel like “tailored” should be one of your words. You wear a lot of cool blazers and some great wide leg trousers. You can be casual/minimal/and tailored, right?
