Suranne always gets involved in great projects so you always can expect the best. Vigil was superb and well done by all cast members. One thing I loved was the fact that Suranne’s character’s same sex relationship is not given such a big hoo hah in the overall story line but is really rather beautifully done. Being a bisexual who has recently had to come out being in a committed same sex relationship, as cliche as it sounds these sorts of portrayals are appreciated. I would never expect everyone in life to be comfortable with same sex relationships but I liked how it showed two women together as something that just happens, as loving anyone can happen. Nothing dramatic about it. Bravo
