Ladies you must try Kelly’s Restaurant on the left hand side as you walk down onto the white centre!! The food is amazing! 3 course meal for €10 not bad eh! Lovely drinks served as well!.
Hey Amelia, please can you let me know how much a taxi would cost from the airport to corralejo for me? As we've booked our holiday for 3rd October wooohooo👌😎😏🍺🍹🍸🍷🍾🥂🍻and I'm thinking we'd rather get a cab than the hour and a half on the coach as we land at the airport at 6:30pm so would rather get to the resort in time for dinner as we're all inclusive 👌I'd really appreciate it if you could let me know asap, cheers hun xxx
Curious to see what the renovated Broncemar Beach will look like. I stayed in Caleta about 12 times over the years, and stayed at BB for some 8 times I think. Although the interior of the apartments was a bit outdated it was good value for money, especially with the big terrace on the topfloor apartments. Pity they're painting it all white, the colorful buildings had it's charm I think...
Great vlog as usual ladies & to my favourite holiday destination in Caleta, (Broncemar) that was also our first stop over there followed by another 6 times but last year we had to go to the Elba as the Broncemar was getting refurbed, we will have to try the Hopscotch next time we visit, keep up the great work. Me the wife & kids Frist went too Broncemer in the early 2000 and loved it xx we've been coming to fuertventra for well over 30 years and fingers crossed and everything else we can cross we'll be back again in September NO kids this time so we're slumming it this time in the Elba carlota wood love some feedback great vlog again and the food looked beautiful so will definitely be trying hope to see the most beautiful island 🏝️🏝️ again xx and keep doing what you do thanks and up the wolves
The good old Broncemar... Spent Christmas and New Year there a few years ago. Looked at a fortnight there next January and it was only just over a hundred quid cheaper than the Barcelo! Great video again.
Great video again ladies, love it when your in Caleta it’s our favourite place to be, just hoping and praying that the Islands are on the green list by the end of September, do you know if the Kobe restaurant has closed for good as we stay at Caybeach and it’s at the end of the road, shame if it has cos we wanted to go this time, the food looks beautiful at Hopscotch aswell so will give it a try, thanks again and stay safe ladies.x
Lovely to see the blue skies & sea in the background.. We didn’t have a very good experience when we went to Hopscotch last September!! Food menu poor!! We had a drink then left!! Seems they have improved their menu!. Just hoping we can come out October! Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 Looking forward to your next video ladies.
Awesome vlog again, it’s about time they did something with the old Angus place, last couple of years the wife & I have walked past it & we’ve both said what a waste. Another great video Amelia Ian and Jan here from Mansfield Nottinghamshire we have been going to Caleta De Fuste for the last 3 years for Jan`s birthday 2nd december ,But we missed last year due to the Covid missed it so much will be glad to get back there when we can you do some great video`s and informative we love the Zanzibar pub.Keep up the good work.
Fantastic video! My fiancee and I absolutely adore the Canary Islands, Fuerteventura especially. Being able to watch your videos is the closest we've got for over a year, but they've given us some great ideas of places to visit when we can come back. Keep up the great work Amelia and Sarah :)
Great video I’ve stayed at the Broncemar many times the new areas are fabulous the ones round the pool were done approx 18 months ago and are finished to a high standard. I think they were doing the area at the next to the shops then doing the other half as well as the reception and bar by the pool. Your lunch looked amazing.

They always seem to start buildings then just leave them . Sunday lunch looked very appetising. Still doesn't look like very many people about . So desperate to get to Fuerteventura now 😫. Wondered if you can help 😉. I have just recieved email from tui. Saying our holiday in June is still going ahead all being well in UK. But the hotel we were staying in is not opening till later in year 😒. So they said they have got us one that is similar and same area. We were staying in the Oliva beach rui in Corralejo but they have changed it to the rui Palace tres island now . Would you be able to find out when the Oliva beach does open this year as to know if we should just wait and change it to then . I can't seem to find anything out about oliva beach . Thanks so grateful 🙏🤩
Very nostalgic watching this video. Was first here in February 2013 and then June 2015. Great memories. Stayed at Costa Caleta hotel right across from the unfinished apartment buildings. Crazy that when I was there in 2013 the apartments looked the same now as they did then, would love to know why there is 8-9 year delay.
Stayed at the Broncemar Beach in 2003.... really liked it. Great location and got a good price for 2 adults and one child at October half term £750 for a week including flights !

Thanks for the video ladies. Many years ago we stayed with our boys in the Lobos Bahia in Corralejo. There use to be a market directly across the road. I take it that’s gone now ?? The water park was only being built at the time.

Great video, we love Caletta de Fuste, appreciate it is 'touristy' but has special memories. Our first visit was also to the Broncemar, but that was longer than 8 years ago! Love the Irish bar in the courtyard in the grounds of the Broncemar. Since then been to Barcelo and Cay Beach and back to the Broncemar, and each time we always went back to the bar in the Broncemar for an evening drink. We now live at the other side of the world so future visits look unlikely until I retire in Fuerteventura (well thats the plan!)
Hi ladies lovely to watch your vlog...sitting here in my garden in sunny Widnes imagining I’m there in Caleta. We have booked 2 weeks in December and we have started planning our trips out to places you’ve shown us in your vlogs. Can I ask a question when hiring a car over there with brexit happening would we need anything else other than driving licence and passport to hire a car? Can’t seem to find any info on it yet so thinking nothing has changed in that way!
Think we will give hopscotch a visit the food looks lovely...not so sure about it being on a tower on my plate though 🤔
That’s a shame about the Aberdeen Angus we visited there often the steaks were great...but can’t say so much about what they have done work wise there...don’t think it will still be ready for next May let alone this May...Unless they get their skates on and start working round the clock!!

Hi. I don’t see any reason why car hire would be affected by Brexit so you should be fine with your passport and license. We hire cars whenever we go to the USA and that’s usually all we need there, plus a credit card

@@sarahbolgerBolgy yes indeed. Mainland Spain and big countries are suffering really badly with many businesses just closing down, some will never reopen.
The one thing that many people are counting on is the return of international
flights, but it is going to be with a lot
Of conditions, Covid tests, possibly vaccine x 2 as a requirement and there are then the extensive long waits at airports. The return of international travel
not quite what we would hope for. I know
Of 4 people who have cancelled their trips altogether now as they don’t want the haste of it all. And that is my greatest
fear that there will be many people thinking that.
The next few weeks are crucial as we will
find out the fate of all of that.

Good interesting vlog stayed Broncemar 2010 but Barcelo Castillo bungalows are superb and Antigua suites are also nice love Caleta

Hi Dave. We’re planning a trip to Cofete very soon. Not really into motorbikes although when we travelled around SE Asia last year we spent a lot of time on a scooter which was good fun if not a little uncomfortable at times 😁
Nice coverage of the venue and the refurb definitely adds value to what it was like years back. Next door used to be old sport tavern or something like that, has that gone now as part of the hopscotch premises upgrade or is it still there, it needed a repaint refurb as I can recall??

@@sarahbolgerBolgy thankyou Sarah, I'm pleased to hear that the whole floor has been upgraded because when I was there just a few years ago prior to the lockdown situations Gambrini had left Broncemar had had a partial refurb but not extensive and the old sports bar was trading but I was aware of issues as to who should pay for further renovations.
The broncemar dwellings strategy certainly looks good, hopscotch owners add value and it all seems a very welcome change and a lot of sense now x

@@moyalyle1296 I took the lads from work couple of years back now for a Christmas do. £30.00 return from east midland THIRTY pound 🤯 taxi into town is £13 I flew to fuerteventura for £15 😂😂 £120 I paid for 4 of us, I took my four sons last year bit more money cuz Ryanair now charge for small overhead case where’s before they never. I use to load up on cigarettes 🚬 🚬🚬 end up making a profit 😂 san Jorge hotel for me it’s nice walk to the harbour by the sea and a nice walk to walk all that food off lol
Oh my days that Sunday roast🤩 after deciding on fuerteventura for hubbys first holiday abroad on 30th September everything being well that is I'm looking for a bit of advice on whether Calleta is going to be ready for tourists? We were certain about going here but now are a bit concerned about all of the changes going down, we don't want to end up on a building site or next to one. On that note, where would you advise going on the island? I'm wondering whether correlado is a safer bet? So with that I'll look for the video the lasses have of the area 👍
Hi Alyssa. Don’t get the wrong impression, we were showing updates of where there is work in progress. It’s nowhere near like a building site in general. Caleta is desperate for tourists to come back and will welcome you with open arms

Hi Anne. Frasquita is one of our favourites. They do the best paella (in my opinion) but you have to order it in advance and top quality seafood every day

Hi Gary.It’s probably slightly quieter (less bars) than PDC but we had many happy holidays in Caleta before moving here, plus it’s only 10 minutes from the airport. If you prefer somewhere bigger/livelier you may prefer Corralejo and that’s about 30-40 minutes from the airport

When in Fuerteventura, have a British Sunday Lunch ! Make sense . Canarian Food is so nice and fresh, why bother with British Food ( even if it is free).

It’s the first time in 3 years we’ve done it! We love Canarian food, Indian food and lots of other types of food too 😁
@@sarahbolgerBolgy It wasn't meant as a personal criticism. Having known Corralejo since 1976, when it was just a very small fishing village , and seeing all the changes over the years , its a shame to see so many Non Canarian style menu's. But I guess you need to cater for the market you serve.
Caleta has always been a purpose made tourist resort, unlike Corralejo, El Cotillo and Los Molinos , which still have some ' soul'.
