+MrFlippy this show was my childhood. Now they made reboot and make them into pun slacking rocks. Then there a fact that then never watch the original show. At least 25% must watch anime and 89% had to at least came into a few episodes of the show. And all of them have to have Netflix when they try to find there series and came across the movie of the original show that is fully based in a anime setting. And with sonic boom it shoved more fatality in my face that I born into only watching anime and ponies
One of the biggest problems I have with TTG besides how they butchered every single character in it is how the animation and art quality are somehow far worse than they ever were on the original TT. And this was a 10 year gap between the start of both shows

Look at Blitzwolfer ( New Benwolf name), His art is awesome in my opinion. Then look at Bigchill who looks very bad now. Anyways what I am trying to say is that the story was good in Omniverse. It finally finished and I hope there is another Ben 10 series. If you want some examples on how the story was good just reply and I'll list some things. :D
I remember one episode where BeastBoy and Cyborg fought...Over a Pepperoni pizza. BB ate a slice. What the hell happened to him being Vegan? They also copied Sweeney Toad in one episode. I'm waiting for that lawsuit.

Hey guys, remember how much Teen Titans changed Cartoon Network and the comics? How it took risks other cartoons didn't? And how it caused the comics to bring Raven back to life because she had been dead for years, and gave Beast Boy his original name back? And then how years later this came out and decided to trample all over that for the sake of unfunny random pop culture jokes?

Archaic King When something is objectively bad, that alone can give someone a backing in saying it should not exist. I do not watch Teen Titans GO myself, but say if there was a show spun off of my more liked shows, like say I enjoyed Friends, and this new show was simply an insult to the original and had no substance in terms of writing or comedy, then I could say that it shouldn't exist, because it is objectively bad and serves no purpose to entertain. So if Teen Titans GO is as bad as everyone says, and as bad as people have analysed it to be, then one could say that it shouldn't exist. I mean I understand the whole, "Enjoy what you enjoy" thing, but if a show is so bad that it fails to entertain, and it's purpose was to entertain, then it should not exist. Even then I guess it's sort of a "eeeeehhh" matter because a failure could be used as a building block to success, but in this case, it's just failure, these supposed professionals appear to be tearing a show apart through their own incompetence at their jobs. At least that's what I hear.
Archaic King Things can be objectively bad, I can say create a show that has no substance in writing, dialogue, or animation, it is objectively bad. Because under any circumstances unless you have no taste it is bad. It is bad here, it is bad there, it is bad everywhere, because the truth is it does not have any of the fundamentals that make a good show. Whether or not Teen Titans GO is lacking these things is up to analysts and such and so on. But my point is you can say something shouldn't exist, because there are situations where things shouldn't exist (obviously). But for a show, if it is objectively bad, and fails to entertain (which is subjective) then it should not exist, because well it really does serve no purpose in the realm of entertainment. And I mean this isn't like some individual's struggle to professionalismistness where they are simply a novice and this is something they will use to achieve greater heights, this is supposedly professional writers providing lackluster media. And when I say supposedly I mean that I have no educated information whether this is what the writers are doing, it's just that this is what I have heard from one reviewer/analyst/person and from others who watched the older Teen Titans and then this version. My point is that someone CAN say that a show shouldn't exist because sometimes they shouldn't because they serve no purpose. (and apparently in this case are nothing but an insult) (again note I am saying apparently) Also, wow, I am taking up a lot of words.
TheSquidAssasin I think some people need to learn what an opinion is. Fact: There are many fans who dislike/hate the Teen Titans Go series. Opinion: The show sucks. Opinion: The show is amazing. A fact is what IS right, an opinion is what YOU believe to be right. For example I find the show great and doesn't disrespect the older show; that's an opinion. Others find the show to be spitting in the face of their childhood; that is an opinion. Neither I nor the people who disagree with me are wrong or right. That's because opinions aren't facts. If I were to say the Earth is made up mostly of land, I'd be incorrect. You say I was wrong and you'd be right. If I say a show sucks and another person says it doesn't, we could provide back-up for our personal beliefs but neither one of us could provide 100% proof for our claims. I mean, I can preach about how amazing Pokemon is, but some people are never going to enjoy the game. Again, it's all opinionated. TL;DR version: People finding TTG to be a terrible show is an opinion, not a fact. And more people need to learn the difference.

This show has its moments but most of the episodes I cannot STAND. And I definitely hate how Raven is now. She's no where near as dark and mysterious as the old one. Yea she was funny at times in the last one but it wasn't corny. And her being obsessed with those pretty pretty pegasi (?) makes her even lamer. I can see Starfire getting into that but RAVEN? Come on man.

The first big issue already comes into play in this premise, this show abandons a lot of crucial things that made the original Teen Titans such a good show. There are no arcs whatsoever like in the original show at all. There's no story lines to follow, no characterization at all that changes one or more of the Titans, or anything griping that made you want to watch the show. The Teen Titans was never about being a silly show about some random things happening, it had characterization and good story lines. Worse yet, the action is next to nonexistent in this show. The most action I have seen in this show is when the Titans fight Trigon, but almost every episode has no action in it whatsoever. There's no fighting Slade, or any of the other villains from the show. And for a superhero show, having very little action in it is inexcusable. Teen Titans was a comedy, but it wasn't just nothing but laughs all the time. It had great fight scenes against their enemies, and tossing that out the window is a big red flag. That would be like watching Spongebob Squarepants where all he does is just sit on a chair and read a book silently. Character wise, almost every Titan we've come to know and love have been butchered and act nothing like the original Titans. Robin was a tough as nails leader who was always focused on a mission, intelligent, and was a brilliant tactician. In TTG!, Robin is more of a goofball slacker who acts more like a bumbling moron instead and even acts insecure because he's the only one without superpowers, which he had no issues with in the original Teen Titans.Cyborg was the hotshot mechanic robot who was a bit of a joker, but always came through for his friends in the end. In this show, Cyborg is more of a jerk to everyone and always picks on everyone as well. He constantly makes fun of everyone and even acts like a coward for the most part. Beast Boy is usually the goofball of the team, but he always knew when it was time to get serious and even underwent several character arcs in Teen Titans. That doesn't happen in this show though. Beast Boy acts just as bad, if not worse, than Cyborg. The only difference is that he seems to act more of a pervert, especially around Raven, making come off as a sleazeball instead of a hero. Raven and Starfire are the only characters in this show who don't make me want to hit me head against the wall. Starfire is still acting like her cheerful self who is still trying to get used to life on Earth. She acts like a bimbo most of the time and acts so green. Raven is still the foreboding and mystic girl who tries to balance her emotions. However, there are times where she does act out of character like letting her anger and other emotions get the best of her. Whereas in Teen Titans, she never really flew off the handle a whole lot. But at least she and Starfire aren't annoying like the other Titans are in this show. The jokes are nothing to write home about. It pulls out almost every tired gag you've already seen before and reuses it. Very rarely will you ever find a good joke like when Robin smacks Beast Boy as a mosquito. Many of the jokes like when Cyborg or Beast Boy tell a joke are really stupid, especially when Robin asked them about how to ask a girl out and they act desperate. It's not funny at, it's just very boring. The artwork is terrible to look at. The coloring seems overblown in this show and the set designs just look rather bland and generic. The character designs are also badly designed. Everyone seems to have huge heads and very skinny bodies, Raven and Beast Boy look like midgets, and Cyborg reminds me of Quasimodo for The Hunchback of Notre Dame. The animation is somewhat better and flows nicely, but there are times where its choppy with the character movements. Show less

Teen Titans Go is probably the worst show on Cartoon Network right now. There's nothing going for it. Every other show on CN does what TTG does way better.

Is it a bad thing that I find the 1960's animated Robin more likable than I do the TTG Robin? Because as much as I can't tolerate his "Holy" reactions to everything, at least he actually gave a shit about the people he fought crime with. Which is something I can't say about the TTG Robin.

I can understand that being your opinion but let me ask you this. How is an episode where BB and Cy say waffles all day funny and then they get mad when the others do it. How is an episode where it basically says if Cyborg and BB didn't exist everyones lives would be better? How is that one puppet episode or both that and the episode where Cy and BB teach Star about comedy funny when it states that Robin has SEVERE mental issues and problems. It is saying if star (or kind of anyone) were to leave the titans the "balance" would be off and he would star acting like his friends? I'm sorry. I know a lot of people might think I'm over thinking this. But I'm stating what I see. Theres even an episode where BB tricks Star into thinking he's dead. But she finds out later so they play with him. So when he thinks he can phase through things he wants to to his dream jumping into a volcano. Now...how is jumping into a volcano funny? Why is it his dream to jump into a volcano? And in the end...literally....all his friends actually DIE in trying to stop him! I can handle them changing characters around. EVEN changing Terra as much as they have. But when you make a show that isn't all that funny, you make some of the characters complete asses, AND you make a character have mental issues and even kill all the characters an episode, you have a bad tv show or a MAJOR problem with your show. I don't care if that was for comedy. How is them dying funny? How is BB's dream to jump into a volcano funny? ThePeoplesGamer1 There isn't really an indepth explanation for why you find something funny. I mean, if when I watch something I laugh...well I found it funny. Nothing more to it. Another thing I'd like to mention is that whether a show is bad or not is purely subjective, it's an opinion. You can talk ratings, or reviews, or sales all you want. Those would just say a number of people liked or didn't like a show. But whether it's good and funny or bad and unfunny is all opinion. No one is right or wrong. My favorite bit from the show being Cyborg asking Raven if Aqualad had shown her his pirate booty and she blushed. Had me laughing out loud.
I hate Teen Titans Go. I don't know what kids are into these days when it comes with cartoons, but that show really ruins it for everyone that watched the other Teen Titans show which is really badass and gain favor to anime fans as well for its anime like aspects. Teen Titans Go is just painfully obvious to entertain the crowd of children who are into crude humor and nonsensical jokes nowadays.
In a parallel universe, where the Teen Titans lost the battle against the forces controlling their universe, their lives were flipped. Robin has become a selfish control freak, Cyborg and Beast Boy have gone insane, and can't help annoying everyone they come across, Raven's personality has become fractured, and no longer as intellectual as she once was, and Starfire has become nearly completely ignorant to other's obvious emotional state in times of distress. Truly the Titan's darkest times.
Theory time! I like to think Beast Boy, Cyborg, Raven, and Starfire are dead and Robin is just unable to except their deaths. Some episodes kind of contact this theory like when they were in a coma for a year in that Christmas special. Also everything is way too colorful, what mental illness has that trait? Schizophrenia! Plus Robins mentions the original Teen Titians dying in a episode about Robin's mask. I would like to think the creators are going to pull a super dark reality tune on us, but I know they would be too much big of pussies to do it, but if the creator of Adventure Time says the world in that show is a post apocalyptic one than maybe it could happen.

At first the show was sort of promising, just Teen Titans but shorter and cuter, but it's just messy now... horrifically cliche and messy. But hey it's making them money I guess maybe so who cares right?

Too funny. though I found the first episode funny, especially the Raven being a Brony part, the show got old real fast. I wasn't expecting much, and for sure the show is just annoying to me, but they could at least try. I rarely watch it, and if I do I normally get tired of it pretty quickly. Piss poor character personalities that are of course nothing like the original show, and of course the writing is just pointless. This show needs to die before even more damage is dealt.
I think that's obvious, but the show none the less just isn't all that great. If some else likes it, fine, but I do wish it was the 2003 incarnation much much more.
Let's be honest. We all new TTG wasn't gonna be the replacement for the 2003 show. We all knew it would be a brighter, lighter and cheerier show. But holy crap. Just. This is a pretty funny cartoon, but I want to point out one thing that sticks out to me: "Why not have Robin be secretly into ballet and when the other titans find out, he tries to kill them before they tell anyone else. That sounds like something Robin would do right?" Few seconds later, Robin kills the writing staff. With a grenade. Isn't that contradicting yourself?

At first, I thought the brony joke was there to enumerate the fact that Raven is a depressed teenager, but after learning that Tara Strong, the voice actress for Raven, was also the voice actress of the main character in MLP: FiM, I enjoyed the nod a bit more. One of the biggest problems I have with TTG besides how they butchered every single character in it is how the animation and art quality are somehow far worse than they ever were on the original TT.

This is a perfect representation of the effort that goes into making every Teen Titans Go episode. It's funny to see the show attempt to be serious, but in the end, it shouldn't have been made.
I would never say something should not be made. I may dislike things but they have just as much right to exist as the things I enjoy.

I do not watch Teen Titans GO myself, but say if there was a show spun off of my more liked shows, like say I enjoyed Friends, and this new show was simply an insult to the original and had no substance in terms of writing or comedy, then I could say that it shouldn't exist, because it is objectively bad and serves no purpose to entertain.
So if Teen Titans GO is as bad as everyone says, and as bad as people have analysed it to be, then one could say that it shouldn't exist.
I mean I understand the whole, "Enjoy what you enjoy" thing, but if a show is so bad that it fails to entertain, and it's purpose was to entertain, then it should not exist.
Even then I guess it's sort of a "eeeeehhh" matter because a failure could be used as a building block to success, but in this case, it's just failure, these supposed professionals appear to be tearing a show apart through their own incompetence at their jobs.

Because under any circumstances unless you have no taste it is bad. It is bad here, it is bad there, it is bad everywhere, because the truth is it does not have any of the fundamentals that make a good show. Whether or not Teen Titans GO is lacking these things is up to analysts and such and so on.
But my point is you can say something shouldn't exist, because there are situations where things shouldn't exist (obviously). But for a show, if it is objectively bad, and fails to entertain (which is subjective) then it should not exist, because well it really does serve no purpose in the realm of entertainment.
And I mean this isn't like some individual's struggle to professionalismistness where they are simply a novice and this is something they will use to achieve greater heights, this is supposedly professional writers providing lackluster media. And when I say supposedly I mean that I have no educated information whether this is what the writers are doing, it's just that this is what I have heard from one reviewer/analyst/person and from others who watched the older Teen Titans and then this version.
My point is that someone CAN say that a show shouldn't exist because sometimes they shouldn't because they serve no purpose. (and apparently in this case are nothing but an insult) (again note I am saying apparently)

Others find the show to be spitting in the face of their childhood; that is an opinion. Neither I nor the people who disagree with me are wrong or right. That's because opinions aren't facts. If I were to say the Earth is made up mostly of land, I'd be incorrect. You say I was wrong and you'd be right. If I say a show sucks and another person says it doesn't, we could provide back-up for our personal beliefs but neither one of us could provide 100% proof for our claims. I mean, I can preach about how amazing Pokemon is, but some people are never going to enjoy the game. Again, it's all opinionated.
TL;DR version: People finding TTG to be a terrible show is an opinion, not a fact. And more people need to learn the difference.

This show has its moments but most of the episodes I cannot STAND. And I definitely hate how Raven is now. She's no where near as dark and mysterious as the old one. Yea she was funny at times in the last one but it wasn't corny. And her being obsessed with those pretty pretty pegasi (?) makes her even lamer. I can see Starfire getting into that but RAVEN? Come on man.

Trust me, Osiria, i don't think we'll be getting another crappy script anytime soon.
The first big issue already comes into play in this premise, this show abandons a lot of crucial things that made the original Teen Titans such a good show. There are no arcs whatsoever like in the original show at all. There's no story lines to follow, no characterization at all that changes one or more of the Titans, or anything griping that made you want to watch the show. The Teen Titans was never about being a silly show about some random things happening, it had characterization and good story lines.
Worse yet, the action is next to nonexistent in this show. The most action I have seen in this show is when the Titans fight Trigon, but almost every episode has no action in it whatsoever. There's no fighting Slade, or any of the other villains from the show. And for a superhero show, having very little action in it is inexcusable. Teen Titans was a comedy, but it wasn't just nothing but laughs all the time. It had great fight scenes against their enemies, and tossing that out the window is a big red flag. That would be like watching Spongebob Squarepants where all he does is just sit on a chair and read a book silently.
Character wise, almost every Titan we've come to know and love have been butchered and act nothing like the original Titans. Robin was a tough as nails leader who was always focused on a mission, intelligent, and was a brilliant tactician. In TTG!, Robin is more of a goofball slacker who acts more like a bumbling moron instead and even acts insecure because he's the only one without superpowers, which he had no issues with in the original Teen Titans.Cyborg was the hotshot mechanic robot who was a bit of a joker, but always came through for his friends in the end. In this show, Cyborg is more of a jerk to everyone and always picks on everyone as well. He constantly makes fun of everyone and even acts like a coward for the most part.
Beast Boy is usually the goofball of the team, but he always knew when it was time to get serious and even underwent several character arcs in Teen Titans. That doesn't happen in this show though. Beast Boy acts just as bad, if not worse, than Cyborg. The only difference is that he seems to act more of a pervert, especially around Raven, making come off as a sleazeball instead of a hero.
Raven and Starfire are the only characters in this show who don't make me want to hit me head against the wall. Starfire is still acting like her cheerful self who is still trying to get used to life on Earth. She acts like a bimbo most of the time and acts so green. Raven is still the foreboding and mystic girl who tries to balance her emotions. However, there are times where she does act out of character like letting her anger and other emotions get the best of her. Whereas in Teen Titans, she never really flew off the handle a whole lot. But at least she and Starfire aren't annoying like the other Titans are in this show.
The jokes are nothing to write home about. It pulls out almost every tired gag you've already seen before and reuses it. Very rarely will you ever find a good joke like when Robin smacks Beast Boy as a mosquito. Many of the jokes like when Cyborg or Beast Boy tell a joke are really stupid, especially when Robin asked them about how to ask a girl out and they act desperate. It's not funny at, it's just very boring.
The artwork is terrible to look at. The coloring seems overblown in this show and the set designs just look rather bland and generic. The character designs are also badly designed. Everyone seems to have huge heads and very skinny bodies, Raven and Beast Boy look like midgets, and Cyborg reminds me of Quasimodo for The Hunchback of Notre Dame. The animation is somewhat better and flows nicely, but there are times where its choppy with the character movements.

I turned on my TV and saw this show on and just wanted to see some random crap the "writers" made this time. I saw the original seen form the original show, (I haven't really seen the original show so don't get mad at me), and thought they brought back the original show. I was very happy. Even tho the title said Teen Titans Go!, I thought that was just a mistake. Then I realized that it showed Robin just having a dream. I LOST IT!!! The writers have seen the original show and are just pulling bull crap out of their but oxes. I hate them.

I can understand that being your opinion but let me ask you this. How is an episode where BB and Cy say waffles all day funny and then they get mad when the others do it. How is an episode where it basically says if Cyborg and BB didn't exist everyones lives would be better? How is that one puppet episode or both that and the episode where Cy and BB teach Star about comedy funny when it states that Robin has SEVERE mental issues and problems. It is saying if star (or kind of anyone) were to leave the titans the "balance" would be off and he would star acting like his friends? I'm sorry. I know a lot of people might think I'm over thinking this. But I'm stating what I see. Theres even an episode where BB tricks Star into thinking he's dead. Why is it his dream to jump into a volcano? And in the end...literally....all his friends actually DIE in trying to stop him! I can handle them changing characters around. EVEN changing Terra as much as they have. But when you make a show that isn't all that funny, you make some of the characters complete asses, AND you make a character have mental issues and even kill all the characters an episode, you have a bad tv show or a MAJOR problem with your show. I don't care if that was for comedy. How is them dying funny? How is BB's dream to jump into a volcano funny? How is Robins wig outs funny?

ThePeoplesGamer1 There isn't really an indepth explanation for why you find something funny. I mean, if when I watch something I laugh...well I found it funny. Nothing more to it. Another thing I'd like to mention is that whether a show is bad or not is purely subjective, it's an opinion. You can talk ratings, or reviews, or sales all you want. Those would just say a number of people liked or didn't like a show. But whether it's good and funny or bad and unfunny is all opinion. No one is right or wrong.
My favorite bit from the show being Cyborg asking Raven if Aqualad had shown her his pirate booty and she blushed. Had me laughing out loud.

I like to think Beast Boy, Cyborg, Raven, and Starfire are dead and Robin is just unable to except their deaths. Some episodes kind of contact this theory like when they were in a coma for a year in that Christmas special. Also everything is way too colorful, what mental illness has that trait? Schizophrenia! Plus Robins mentions the original Teen Titians dying in a episode about Robin's mask. I would like to think the creators are going to pull a super dark reality tune on us, but I know they would be too much big of pussies to do it, but if the creator of Adventure Time says the world in that show is a post apocalyptic one than maybe it could happen.

Too funny. though I found the first episode funny, especially the Raven being a Brony part, the show got old real fast. I wasn't expecting much, and for sure the show is just annoying to me, but they could at least try. I rarely watch it, and if I do I normally get tired of it pretty quickly. Piss poor character personalities that are of course nothing like the original show, and of course the writing is just pointless. This show needs to die before even more damage is dealt.
I think that's obvious, but the show none the less just isn't all that great. If some else likes it, fine, but I do wish it was the 2003 incarnation much much more.

Let's be honest. We all new TTG wasn't gonna be the replacement for the 2003 show. We all knew it would be a brighter, lighter and cheerier show. But holy crap. Just. Most shows are good, and have a few great moments. TTG is just Bad, and has "okay-ish" moments at best. It relies almost entirely on crude, immature humor that is dragged out for way longer than it has any right to. I mean, for Christ's sake, one episode was Entirely about Robin looking for a sandwich. That was it. The whole episode. About a fucking sandwich. Really?
