Seth MacFarlane was supposed to be on the plane that hit 9/11 but he overslept and his travel agent gave him the wrong boarding time.
he was supposed to be boarding American Airlines flight 11, the first plane to be hijacked and crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Centre

@jumnei5159 no, they were armed with box cutters. It seems ridiculous now, but at the time no one had considered suicide bombing by plane so the idea was submit and then negotiate once on the ground to prevent loss of life.

It's so good to me how this show manages it's tone. It is irreverent and crass and incredibly violent with some real pathos built in. The show isn't afraid to explore different sides of characters than you've seen, it's not afraid to do things that would piss off fans, and it's also not afraid to have genuine emotion.

Bullshit. There are other celebrities that also claim that they'd have been on either of the planes that crashed, but what are the odds that you snag a flight with more than a few celebrities AND it turns out to be a hijacked plane? No way dog

Going back in time to stop the attacks isn't as easy as it seems. You would have to accept the fact you could be sentenced to death for potentially being suspected of being in on the attacks and could have been accused of being a terrorist that got cold feet. If you admitted to anyone you were a time traveller you would also be ordered to plead insanity

Can we just talk about how this clip alone also just shows how narcissistic he was and how big his self love complex was. Even with the information of 9/11 he didn’t just let everyone know about it to save their lives, HE wanted to be the one to save everyone and let the event happen just so HE and only he could stop it himself and get all the glory from it. Ok hold on a sec, Brian may have stopped the first plane from crashing into one of the towers but there is no way he could have stopped the other planes from being highjacked, the other one would have still hit one of the towers, who knows maybe they would have hijacked another plane in order to hit the other tower, also the pentagon would have still been hit as well.
