This diagonal pot holder pattern is a classic. It's so easy and the resulting potholders are awesomely thick! We'll be using two strands of cotton yarn which gives you a really nice hot pad that'll protect your hands and your counter tops.
The finished dimensions of this pot holder are approximately 8.5" x 8.75".

Hi Crystal, your tutorial was very easy to follow and enjoyable. Your camera was close enough to be able to clearly see the details of the crocheting process and be able to see which stitch to use. Thank you so much. I look forward to more tutorials 👍

Hi Crystal, I LOVE this video. You're a very good teacher, really excellent 👏 👌. I've got a Pinterest account (or whatever it's called!! LOL !!) and I subscribe to your website. So, I did what you asked and pinned this 'Crochet This Easy to Make Pot Holder' on my account.
I expect that a lot of other people have done the same thing, because we all love what you make, so you should get a lot more interest in your work. Not that you need it or anything, l know, but it's always good to get more publicity, isn't it!? I have fallen madly in love with those BEAD CROCHET necklaces I keep seeing everywhere, and I was wondering, or rather HOPING, if you could do a video tutorial on how to make them! In particular, those multi - strand necklaces. They're so gorgeous and really on trend right now, and they seem easy to make, once you know what to do. Plus, you don't need lots of expensive tools and stuff to make a really pretty piece of jewelry! Have I talked you into doing this yet!!! LOL! 😆❤😆! I know - partly - how to do it, like how you have to make a knot at the end of a long piece of yarn or cord, and then thread the other end onto a needle, so you can put all the beads you want to use on to the yarn/cord. And I know you have to take the needle off, and then put on the crochet hook, and start chain stitching and bringing up the beads, one at a time and crochet them onto your strand of chain stitch. But, I don't know how to 'cast off' at the end, or how to finish the beginning, where the slip knot is. Could you please 🙏 do a tutorial on making a simple chain stitch necklace with beads??? That would be so wonderful. Thank you so much for just reading this essay of a comment! 😆😅❤❤❤❤❤ Lots of love from Amanda in Australia.
