food prices going through the roof everywhere.
That equates to almost 100% price increase in 2 years.
Unchecked corporate greed. Any attempt to get it somewhat under control won’t make it past the blockade.
Poplar Report had people saying their cats refused to eat the Great Value tuna!
Before I resubscribe…. Does he still babble?
Better Goods sounds like better marketing, not better products. Turn the packaging over and look at the GMO ingredients
Please remember that if you are struggling to put food on the table, go to your local food pantry. There is no shame in it. It is there to help people. I take my neighbor every 3 weeks. They didnt ask for any proof of income, just her ID.
Have people ever used your videos to check prices in their own area? It seems like different cities have different prices and different sales.
FYI, Great Value chicken is actually Tyson. I live in Arkansas, Tyson HQ is here. But not only is the Tyson family corrupt and Tyson is a member of the World Economic Forum, on their website under partners, Tyson is constantly getting cited for health violations.
Wow! Thank you for sharing that. 😱
We don't eat or buy any Tyson products
@@ultramagapatriot5874 No one should!
@prodig... Correct. Also, Tyson uses crickets in their products.

Good morning everyone 🌞🌞☺️
🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️, Good Morning Danno and Jess from North Carolina here, just left Walmart this morning 1/2 gallon milk over $3.00 now, up 22 cents over two weeks 🤪🤪🤪, Thanks for all you and jess do for us!!!
our milk in MN has finally gone up a little bit but it’s still taken 4 years to catch up with other states. We Can still get a full gallon of milk around here for $3.89.
Not Kemps though, that one has been more
The dog bed I bought about four months ago at regular price at WM for 12 is now 20 ☹️
Allies has Small dog beds for $10.00 or they did a Few months ago.
I meant Ollies.
I stopped shopping at chinamart 3 yrs ago! I refuse to spend my money to support china
most of the merchandise you buy is made in China
Popular discount store Big Lots has alerted financial regulators in a recent filing that the company’s staggering losses over the last two years have raised “substantial doubt about the company’s ability to continue.”
The Big Lots near me is always empty! I don’t know how they’ve survived this long. I’ve never been impressed with their prices.
Big Lots is like a junk store here, pices high and looks like items Ollies refused to put in there stores.
I haven’t been in a big lots in four years. They’ve never been that good of a store
"Researchers say ultra-processed foods that are high in fats, starches, sugars and additives now make up 73% of the U.S. food supply" Brominated vegetable oil "BVO" has been banned. Used in sports drinks, citrus flavor drinks
Healthy people don't generate $$$$ for our healthcare INDUSTRY.
It's crazy how much processed food is in the stores. Even all the salad kits. Do people not cook from scratch anymore? Is anyone reading the ingredients lists on the food they are getting?
Processed = gmo=chemicals=addictions=🪦🪦
It's for people that are looking for fast and easy due to many different reasons. In my house, we do everything from scratch. At least we know exactly what is in our food and beverages.
Some do. Present company included. If food is more than food, I'll leave it for someone else. Doesn't take much to learn how to cook even on a very basic level.
Yup its pretty bad. It's like nobody bothers to cook anymore, all instant fast food type 💩 All I'm going to say is save your bacon grease... it's gonna get rough.
@@christopherleubner6633 I learned about bacon grease from my grandma and my mom. so yes, we save our bacon grease.
We are making our own pizza etc, don’t trust what’s in our processed food anymore.
10-20% increases in a month it looks like.
Buckle up, prices are going up again. Biden ordered Grocery Stores to lower prices. He can't do that. All types of Stores are closing. Thousands of jobs were lost, and more to come. Our meat is so bad China won't buy it. The last burger I bought was 80/20 really watery. It's not greasy like the lower grade. The only Bird Flu is in chickens, which is strange. All birds would have it. 50% loss pandemic to get you to take another unproven jab and wear masks.
Eggs were still 1.19 on Wednesday at aldi.
I think the worst part of the high prices, is the really big increases of the fallback staples. When you couldnt afford broccoli the cabbage, potatoes, celery and carrots were still super cheap.
Things like dry beans, plain oatmeal, rice which were always affordable pantry staples are not so cheap anymore. 😢
Dont know if there is anyway to turn this around some.
I bet people who planted a garden this year are starting to smile from ear to ear when they look at the produce prices about now.😊
@@37degreesnorth76 Yes, the basic staples started to go up here too. We were doing pretty good and not near as inflation affected for quite a while as long as we steered away from processesed, partially processed foods, and the basics they talked about in the news (ie sugar, oatmeal as a dry cereal alternative, etc...).
@37degreesnorth76 that's a great price! Aldi by me is $2.49 east coast mid atlantic.
I had to go to our Wal-Mart and I left literally sick to my tummy. I bought basics, 25# flour, 25# sugar, and other basic items, onions, 33 cent sweet corn, Pantry items to restock what I have used, $178. I can't continue with a senior fixed budget.
Went to my local Hoemland grocery store. They had strawberries already cut and in the small containers for $10.29. I bout lost my mind!
It seems to me, atleast in AZ, every time there is a e coli recall it's cut fruit from the store. Not only is it more expensive you have to worry about people washing thier hands.
@@rodgerbelveal6684 that is insane!
Good morning from Atlantic Canada. I like to see your grocery store prices just as a comparison to ours. It’s interesting. Have a super day!
Canada's prices I seen some CZcams videos, way too high 🙄
Good Morning Darlene, How are things your way. I am in NW Ohio. My prices are higher than Danno's.
@@irisnunez5741 I just keep plugging along …
Great job Danno 👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Good morning, Dan and Jess! Happy Saturday! Been waiting for this puppy since last evening. We do not have the markets that you have accept for Aldi. I went in there a week or so back for the first time in years... since they opened. It is much better now. Anyway, WM is unfortunately a go to for canned goods, but that is it, so we enjoy the familiarity and price comparison. Buckling up! Peace
The individual spice packets, you can make homemade. You just have the investment of spices and mix your own. You will get more products from your own mixtures. And no chemicals and additives.
Indian grocery stores have spices in bulk and cheap. Can even get some mighty exotic live stuff you can grow like lemon grass and tumeric.
Thank you Danno ❤️✝️
No kidding. Getting crazy. Thanks for the video and the info!
I bought Cabit Seriously Sharp cheese at WalMart and it is going back!!! It is definitely one of the #FakeFood products. Not sure what is going on but that cheese normally is so dry and sharp that it falls apart when sliced. THIS ONE is like Soft Plastic or #Rubber. Take it back
Because cheese is now made with vegetable rennet, including gmo soy, instead of old rime animal rennet.
I took back a tub of cottage cheese they was yellow and spoiled , expiry date July 27
Dairy gold is horrible too. Waxy, dried out.
But all the rich politicians and academics and economists and cultural elites are telling us the economy is doing GREAT! It must be OUR character flaw for complaining so much then!
Not all
What good is it going to do to complain?
I keep cream of tartar on hand for when I run out of baking powder. Mix 2 parts of cream of tartar with 1 part baking soda. If you want to make enough to store, add one part of cornstarch. It keeps it from clumping. Really works well.
We were at Winco last week where the the 10 pound bags of potatoes were $2.49 and the 5 pound bags were $1.49. And yes, i was surprised in a good way.
Our restaurant supply store had 50 lb. bags of baking potatoes for $8.79.
@@americafirst9144 Wow, wow, wow .... Weve established a monthly dollar amount of stuff we donate to a local Senior Center food pantry. Periodically, we also do a donation to the meal side of the Sr Ctr and/ or the coffee bar too. It helps with special holiday meals and defrauding costs. At @$9/ 50lb of potatoes we would donate what we could and they could handle/ store during these hot summer months. We'll have to check our restaurant supply store this next week, depending get in contact with the kitchen manager, etc...
I miss having WinCo. I appreciated the Bulk Food choices and the bulk variety of peanut/almond butters by the weight.... Very nice Winco in Surprise, AZ off the 303 and Bell Rd.
@@dreamalittledream1 The took out the nut butter station/wall at our local Winco. There is one about 15 miles away.
Prices are skyrocketing at Walmart. Walmart prices are getting higher and higher! Lord we are praying for our country. They are trying to control us by starvation.🙏🎆✝️💖🎈
No they aren't. Stop spreading lies and BS.
Another boot licking libtard
Thanks Danno. Enjoy your weekend❤ we have a market called market basket there fruits and vegetables are a good price. I bought the better good sausage I liked it
Today my local walmart had their brand of brats for $6.99 for the small pkg. I went to costco and got their big package of brats for $9.99. I walked out of Walmart today with only 3 things, a loaf of gluten free bread, peanut butter, and jelly. All things my elderly neighbor who doesn't drive wanted.
Morning Danno.
Frozen pizza has gotten crazy in price. I can go to dominos and pick up a large 1 topper for $8 and save on running the oven
Pizza dough consists of flour, a bit of oil, salt, sugar, water and yeast. Could not be more than 50c to make. Tomato sauce, cheese and other things are still on sale here and there. Tomato sauce is shelf stable, cheese freezes well. Everything else is optional. Pizza was born out of necessity. People used whatever leftovers they had.
Hi Danno and Jess❤❤❤
Thanks Danno for the update.
Thank you Danno, for all you do!
Danno , here in Canada , since 2020 , all our Walmart’s haven’t restocked great value brand foods ,, no canned , no pasta , gone !!!
GM ☕️🇺🇸
Thanks Danno!🥰
Wal-Mart Clausen pickles were $4.98 and now $5.49!!!!!!!!!
Make your own
Good morning Danno
Good morning.
watch the shelf price compared to register price. Walmart is currently being sued for charging more at check out. Although I am sure they are not doing it so much now that they have been caught worth paying attention to
They are in the process of changing over to digital tags and this wouldn't be a problem in the future.
What you think Walmart is your friend? Crap food, crap merch been thrown to you from Chyna for years …….
Next time you hit some stores, I would like to see if a gallon of milk in your area has gone up. It’s gone up more than 20-30 cents in the last 2-3 weeks in some areas. My local Walmart went from $3.02 to $3.30 a gallon. Some Walmarts in the Portland, OR area went from $3.56 to $3.75 a gallon and that’s for the Great Value gallon milk.
Cream of tartar is used for baking.
Good buy on COFFEE MATE at Kroger through Tuesday, and a few other sales.
Good video today God bless
greedy Waltons
love the Rainer Cherries, but they are seasonal and on the expensive side, but they are really sweet.
It’s been so long since I’ve seen Del Monte lima beans that I actually thought they had stopped making them.
Warning on canned tuna and chicken, they have been filling with a lot more water but using the same size can 💀
Watch at the checkout too. I was busy putting things on the conveyor and just as I finished I happened to look up and the cashier quickly deleted the price he'd put in for cabbage.
He'd already charged for it and then he put it in for $3+. I'd picked that cabbage because it was the cheapest. I must have looked shocked because he quickly reversed the charge. So just watch carefully.
Please make stuff your self don't buy all that in the boxes. It some much better for you and cheaper.❤
I stick with frozen at Aldi
YOUR Walmart prices are lower than ours in San Diego!
I'll send you my grocery list!
I just noticed the high prices too!
🤔👍
Regarding last night's vid, was it folgers? Hmm seems like everything was crazy!
Yes!!
Yay! But not a celebration after all. Ugh this is terrible!!
We are switching back to keto and eating organic and been studying what to buy where, for instance that produce with the toxic Apeel coating we avoid, Publix & Trader Joe's will not use it, Kroger, Whole Foods, Walmart, Sams etc say their brands don't use it but they can't answer for other brands they carry. Driscoll fruit will not use it. I bought Driscoll strawberries at Sams yesterday and Trader Joe's does not use bad stuff in their products so we will be shopping there more. Spent a good $430 yesterday in 2 stores but I feel like our health is worth it.
If you have LIDL near you, cauliflower heads are $1.99 each. Green cabbage $0.49lb. Whole young chicken $0.99lb. I buy the whole chickens, cut it up and fillet the breast. Dogs get the livers, stomach, skins, and hearts in their food and the carcasses I make chicken bone broth, then pressure can quarts.
Thing I noticed most was the lack of meat in several stores. When I go to the store I buy selectively. Using my garden, previously stored items rotating my stock. Trying to save to get my cold room done so I can have better storage of some veggies.
Eggs I think is what you were talking about your last video. Our eggs went from 2.68 to 3.34 I buy the jumbo ones. This is in Davenport,Iowa
So Walmart is Villainized for charging what everyone else does now ? Video title makes it out like Walmart drastically raised prices above other comparable stores is a bit misleading.
Raise prices until no one buys it, and then lower the price a few cents. Suddenly, everyone thinks it's a good deal.
Used to shop Walmart once a week. Now, I go once a month and buy very little. My neighborhood stores are actually cheaper. Let's watch Walmart go the way of Sears.
I’m a Kraft girl.. I will try the Great Value Mac n Cheese 😊
I am too
I wouldn't bother. Kraft Mac is cheap in a multi-pack at Amazon.
my son likes GV, i am kraft person....but tried and now prefer GV
It's pasta with cheese. I can understand a lot of things, but a handful of pasta with a strange substance for cheese is not one of them. You're still going to cook pasta, and most people have cheese at home.
I like the great value burritos think they are $2.99,the great value canned roast beef you showed is in my emergency food stash it has a 3 year expiration date
30:12 you always feature equal but its equivilent great value aspertame is the same stuff sitting to its left for 4.50 cheaper 6.22 vs 2.77
My Walmart doesn't even have any onions or tomatoes right now
The coffees we drink are Maxwell house, Folgers, and Kroger brand and we mix New England french vanilla together I'm going to try the coffee you picked up and the see how that taste.Have a good day .
Thanks
I always make a point of getting the sales papers from Publix, Winn Dixie and Aldi’s every week. Then as I am shopping through WalMart I will know exactly which store is the best to buy from. It takes extra time, but it’s worth it! I’m able to feed my two sons (21 and 35) and myself on $190 or less per month.
peaches 1.29lb at kroger
$1.49/lb, at Winn-Dixie, for the second week in a row.
Danno, i cannot believe thr price increases on FOLGERS. ,the dry creamer ingredients are scary. Why is it needed for the aluminum in creamer? I told my friends in October 2019 food was going to skyrocket. I guess they see it now 😢😢
If u can please go to a farmers market for fresh items if your gonna pay for it make it fresh
I would love to but I just can't spend $4/Lb on sweet potatoes, $7/bunch for like 5 carrots ans $13 for a loaf of bread.
@@regardentharethat is not a farmers market. Do you have farms around? Lots of them have at least produce stands. Prices are cheaper than store prices, or close to them. It costs under a dollar to bake your own bread.
I got one of those turtles pizzas one time , it was awful
You do realize you paid more for the walmart brand coffee than the folgers coffee you were freaking out about? The folgers was 36.9 cents/oz and you paid 41.3 cents/oz for that Walmart bag of coffee. I thought you were the deal hunter guy?
Well there might be a reason for that. Do you know anybody under 60 or more likely 70 that likes Folger's coffee? I know Danno likes Great Value Columbian Coffee because he drinks it during his afternoon rants. However, I do not once remember him stating he was drinking Folger's Coffee.
@@americanbobtail1 omg... I was wondering the demographic on what age groups prefer what brand of coffee.... I am sure there are variety of preferences across the generations..... ???

@@americanbobtail1 I am somewhat old enough to remember my grandparents drinking Sanka... oh my. 3 plus years ago we were not having to go through all the crap that Biden has given us. 😢
Wait til after new years after brics nations kick in
We were going through this when the tariffs started raising prices and them during 2020. It was already underway before Biden. Why don’t you blame these companies and their bought politicians? They’re the one raising prices and blocking every attempt to really get a hold and improve the economy.
two years ago, stockers' wage at WM , to stock shelves in Denver, was 21.00/hour... of Course the price of what they are stocking is going up.... the wage increase is passed onto the customer....
Not because of Biden Trump started it. He’s the one who gave tax cuts to the billionaires.
Facts!
