The hardest room in Celeste is that one farewell room where you have to time the wave dash with the moving block in to an upwards hyper twice in a row. That room took me over a month of playing every single day. The final room took me about an hour and a half.
farewell is a room and a subchapter, he was refering to rooms, showing the final ROOM of 7c (which isn't a subchapter) so yea, I would put moonberry there@@Trees7420
@@DivikSachdeva yeah if you're going for the moon berry that's a route you can take. If you're going for the golden berry you have another golden room at the end so yep there are multiple routes. Same ending tho
This is definitely true. Having gone through all the C-Sides, I still couldn’t to get the Moonberry. my fingers get very tired to grab a jellyfish and after that I don’t get a checkpoint and on the way to the Moonberry I need to do 2 wave dashes to the left, despite the fact that I had to do the whole game to the right. At some point I just enabled the assist mode.
short review of the hardest rooms: 7C: very precise and demanding, and one of the most satisfying to finally get Farewell room: long, but very doable if you're patient. but... something's missing... Moonberry room: easily the hardest in vanilla, and really feels like the true ending. love it 10/10. 8C: why does this room exist i hate everything about it. you just beat 7C a few minutes ago, thought you were free, but now you're stuck here. unlike the others it just feels like an uncoordinated mess. beating it feels more like "oh you finally rolled the dice correctly" instead of "you mastered all the necessary skills". and while a really cheap and awful way to be hard, that makes it the hardest level to me.
I actually found 8C to be really enjoyable. I like the longer rooms with more tight movement, so rooms in the style of 7C and 8C last are super appealing to me. Neither of them were really too difficult, just practice the mechanics and you’ll get it somewhat fast.
For me I think reflections C side and chapter 3 were the hardest and took the longest for golden but summit took me a bit under an hour without much practice because all of the difficulty is in one room and it isn’t even that bad if you practice it
1. chapter 7c last screen 2. comb room 3. that ice jumping room with the coins from chapter 9 4. chapter 9 final room 5. chapter 5c final room 1. is hardest, 5. is easiest (on the list)
Part at 2:26 is my biggest chokepoint 😭. I always festher too close to the electricity or too far, if i feather too close i hit the electicity and die but if i feather too far i wont make it to that block down there....
Chapter 7C is super precise and you have to do it all in one go, but it’s relatively short (both the last screen and the entire chapter). Chapter 9’s last screen takes a while to get through and you have to do the rest of Chapter 9 to even get to this point (and it takes even longer if you’re going for the Moon Berry), but there’s at least a resting platform (2:12 and you can stand on top of the fuse box if you *really* need the breather) and you’ve got a fair bit more room to maneuver around.
tbh 7c last room may cause some problems, but it's not the hardest room in the game (only 2nd cloud jump and that precise wallbounce in the middle sucks for me) and 2 previous rooms are free if you're trying to do 7c golden
What makes 9 palatable for me is 2:13. I dunno if people realize this but you can stand on that platform on the left and give yourself a bit of a breather. (Hold down to dive with the jellychute and the wind won’t carry you upwards until you jump.)
7C pushes your precision and skill to the limit. Farewell pushed your endurance and patience to the limit. Two totally different beasts difficult for different reasons.
Ch 7C is much harder than Ch 9 last room. Once you find the correct strategy, you can make it almost every time even you make some mistake on Ch 9. However, it's not work on Ch 7C which require the precise movement.
I was just tilted from dying a lot and was spamming shit at the start lol, that's not at all how I normally did it. Just unlucky that happened to be the time I completed the stage 😵

comb room is an abomination
It took me 6 hours
It took me 30 minutes.
But I did had a break down trying to beat 7c, so maybe that unlocked something on my brain.
@@Nico_com_c aye bro that’s the reason I love the game so much. I beat 7C in like an hour and a half. It goes to show how different everyone is.
That room took me ten minutes and the last room litterly took me 55 minutes. Lol I thought the last room was harder but idk
I think the moon berry room is harder than the farewell room
I think they were referring to the entire levels, not just rooms. Farewell normal route ending room should not be here if we’re talking about rooms

Does anyone else think summit c side was easier than ppl said it was
why do you ask? Is everything ok? I’m here
I didn’t know anything about it beforehand but it was the hardest for me. I blame bad controller drift for most of the deaths though 🤓
I think that the c sides have more difficult rooms than the b sides but they are so short its easier to learn for most people
I swear 6c golden took me like 4x longer than 7c golden did 💀

I actually completely agree with your list. All 5. Fucking comb room nearly broke me but I’ve beaten Farewell. But I’ve still never beaten 7C.
don't forget the moon berry, that goddamn room
@@ducclineMoon Berry room is *really* hard.
I beat 5c in like 25 deaths
What in the heavens is comb room?

I died so many times on The last screen of farewell. It wasnt even hard when i got it
The last farewell room is really, really easy compared to almost every other room in the whole chapter. Long, yes, but its easy
Honestly, I think the hardest room is the moon berry room. I can do the final room of farewell first try, moon berry still takes a while
Now get the moon berry
Ouch 😭
Now do 2k-3 ;)
im ok with 7c, 9a last room just keep making me feel irritated (maybe itxs because the length?)
two hardest vanilla celeste levels

A neat video, but theres much harder rooms you left out
did the creator even play test this
Buddy forgot Core C side...
You complicated that Farewell screen so much for no reason

7c is short but a lot of precision, farewell final screen is a lot of consistency, but not all that difficult in gameplay. Moon berry beats both
two hardest(completed) celeste screens are d+24 and abaddon.............
I haven’t played Celeste and this sure as hell ain’t helping
These are endgame levels. The starting levels look nothing like these
No the hardest ones are VENUS, 2k-3 and Abbadon
Honestly as long as the final screen of farewell was, I don’t think it was the hardest screen of the chapter.
The checkpoint of rithmyn
That one with the moving block and the spike pillars where you have to chain the wave dash in to the upwards hyper
Do you mean Chapters or Screens? Because there are no levels in Celeste, only Chapters and Screens.
Your a normal fella

Rooms imo
no trying to be mean but you know what they mean
@doeatyourfoo i was stateing my opinion (SAVESTATE? CELETESETE (i am so tired))
