It's crazy how our organization has given everyone a chance but not Markquis Nowell
he can't guard anybody
They did. He trash
shoulda gave mac mclung a chance second half of season
We gave him a chance he doesn't hold up In the league and he doesnt bring what we need
@jayoh2023 when tho?
Devin Carter is rising and won’t last long in this draft. He doesn’t have as many flaws as the younger higher rated prospects. I’m surprised if he doesn’t go top 15.
Great video. Keep the profiles coming. Go Raps
I haven’t seen Devin Carter play, because providence didn’t qualify for March madness. I did see Tyler Kolek from Marquette play in the ncaa tournament! I would love to see the Raptors draft him! His pro comparable is Jason Kidd! What’s your assessment of Tyler Kolek?
I don't understand the "size" weakness you keep bringing up with 6'3 PGs. He's slightly taller than an average point guard in the NBA and has a well above average wingspan for his position. Am I missing something? because based on this, size isn't an issue.
Modern NBA. Taller, lengthy guys are dominating the modern NBA. You look at the playoffs right now most players that are in are between 6'6-6'9
Devin Carter isn't really a point guard, or at least he wasn't for Providence. He was a 2 guard who would occasionally slot to 3. Even when PC lost their two top point guards for a spell, Carter did not take over point, Corey Floyd jr. did. Carter is a combo guard or two-way, however, you want to put it. He's an elite point of attack defender, who plays much bigger than 6"3. A pure hustler player on both ends who can hit long range 3's and sky for rebounds and alley-oops. And he's a clutch player and a major big moment playmaker, whether that's getting steals or blocks or draining a logo 3. He's got a ton of athletic ability, which the combine showed, with his vertical leap and his sprint record. If you're looking for a pure point guard who is there to distribute the ball and run an offense that's not him, per se, that's someone like Tyler Kolek, but if you're looking for a defensive hound who can score from 3 where needed, get to the rim, pull down rebounds and bring instant high energy on both ends straight off as a reserve (or even starter) he's your guy. His talent and elite work ethic bode well for him in the NBA wherever he goes. At Providence he was one of the most beloved players in that school's history in his 2 years there.
If he's available, we must take him, but I don't think he will be. More likely could be Jared McCain or Bub Carrington which would also be great picks at 19.
A defensive point guard- let’s go! Hope the Raptors draft him
Liberty freeman we need to draft some bigs please!
Can you do a video on Bub Carrington
Miami is selecting Devin Carter at 15.
Nobody knows where any of these players are going after the lottery. Some of these picks after the lottery is going to shock some of you because this draft isn’t as cut and paste as most drafts. After the lottery some guy expect to go 22 can end up going 15.
He won’t be there at 15
Hes going in lottery. His combine record is frick.
@teeinfinity, thank you for that point about Nowells. A few weeks ago I wrote about it. I am very disappointed that they would use a draft pick on him and NOT give him a chance to show what he can do; absolute nonsense; so now I dont care who they draft. I know a Janitor who will be looking for a job soon; if the raptors need to contact him, I know where he is.
Yes to Carter if available at 19. I would also sign Delon Wright so we have good depth. JF-L might lose out there or move to 3rd SG?
Hes perfect but hes definitely getting picked before 19
Well this aged well 😭
knock it off with the nonsense ,,,grab the 7'5" guy
Catch and shoot good so, when someone gets off rebound they pass out for shot.
Well... Maybe, let's give him a good chance, but I prefer Zach Edey or Filipowsky. (Better a real BIG MAN like DJ Burns Jr. or Armando Bacot, free & undrafted) Or another PG. I don't know.
Guards that can rebound like him, never fail in the NBA.
Justin Champagnie?
mccain for the vibes
as much as i want him hes not falling to the raptors imo isaiah collier is more likely
Do you really think Devin Carter is worth the 19 pick. I don't know...?
We have Scottie who cares if he’s not the best passer
Looks like a short pg 💀
A pesky Def playing IQ everyday will help him both.
Kel El Ware is way better & younger then Devin carter & hes to old to draft at 22, 6 foot 3 is to short, everytime we draft old 22 yo & up they never do well. Look at all the 22 yo & up we drafted they never last.
Exactly we should be drafting someone 19-21 year age
werent people crying for desmond bane
Kel el Ware is the only player at the combine to ever score 100.. he has a ton of potential but think he will be gone by pick 19
@megamindhoops if Ware gets drafted before #19 i wouldn't mind 18 Yo Ulrich Chomche is the best blocker in draft and a better defender.
I rather have Bronny James with the 19 pick
Reminds me of Josh Hart. Hope Kings gets him at 13
He’ll be gone at 11
the guy is 6'1
He measured 6'2.5" at the combine barefoot.
Lol not this again. Raptors are garbage
Bro what? He's literally just talking about a potential draft pick for us.
We need defense not offense
he is defense
