Poetl was a 9th selection in a good draft and has become a starter. He gets so little respect it's shocking. If the narrative is we gave up a top 8 pick in a weak draft for Jakob so what the last time we drafted eighth we got Terrance Ross after losing the coin flip to get Harrison Barnes!!!. Thank-you Jak for coming back. Nice to have a solid veteran near the top of his game. Tank morons an Hinke processors can kiss my freakin' __ss.
It's time to bite the bullet, 2:42 admit the Poetl trade failed and move on. He doesn't fit what they're trying to do. His lack of shooting and complete lack of athleticism don't fit on a team which wants to run and play an uptempo game.
Kel'El Ware MIGHT have issues with his motor but his upside is terrific. If all you want is a motor play Chris Boucher! Ugh!
I'm old enough to remember a center whose motor was questioned. His name was (at the time) Lew Alcindor
We can get 2024 picks…. Easier than normal. And I trust Masai and Bobby to find talent. Weak draft or not. There’s always talent. You just gotta find it. Trade yak + bouchier to Memphis or okc for number 9 + filler (match salary) or to okc for number 12 + ousman dieng + salary. Teams don’t value this draft as much as others. So it’s doable. Basically get all the value back out of yak. And a clean slate. Tank one more year. Even if the 2025 pick of ours ends up being 8-15 pick. That’s still ok. It is what it is. But you gotta try one more year at getting a top 8 pick for 2025.
I dont see a way we tank next year. This year it was easy bc injuries. When RJ Scottie and quickley play together they play well
Don't tank. It ruins great players. Scottie is a great player. Instead, develop good role players

trading jakob poeltl makes the most sense, if raptors are in rebuild and want a high pick in 2025 which is a generational draft. they wont be tanking either, they will be that bad to get a bottom 5 pick in 2025 once they trade jakob poeltl.

masai also told you the raptors are in rebuild and they are not 1 year events. bobby webster in his interview said the raptors are not close but at least 10 moves away as well. embrace the rebuild, its the only way raptors can build a team sustainably to compete in 3-4 years.
That doesnt mean they gonna trade and tank again. 3-4years including development, getting used to po atmosphere and finding right pieces. Im pretty sure they will try to push po.
@@ryank794 they suck, they will play hard but will lose even with scottie barnes because he isnt a lebron type of player. he more of a support utility player that plays defence. raptors are not making playoffs, trust me. especially if they trade jakob poeltl. one player shouldnt make that much of a difference but tells you how bad this team is that 1 player like a jakob can turn the team into bottom 4 if he is moved.
@@giovanni-ed7zq yeah if they move Jak to somewhere thats def tanking move but i dont see them moving Jak unless he requests trade. East sucks and waaaaay weaker than West. Theres lot of opportunity to push po. I dont think Masai would tank this team like Pistons or Hornets for years.
@@ryank794 jakob poeltl already told you publicly he didnt leave the spurs to come to another rebuild situation. he said he wants to compete for playoffs and championships at his age. so you know he wasnt happy when og and siakam were moved. so jakob poeltl is likely asking quietly for a trade out of toronto. it was why bobby webster said in his interview that jakob poeltl is not part of core or future veteran leadership moving forward. bobby only mentioned temple and kelly olynik as the future vets moving forward.

Portal is good player but he gets hurt a lot. If raptors can trade him and draft Edey who is better offense and has the size to guard Wemby and Emib. He might not be quick enough to stop Wemby from shooting 3's but he can stop him inside and Wemby doesn't have strength or weight to stop Edey from scoring inside. Edey can weather out Wemby and he is one of the few people strong enough with size who can stop Emib from getting to basket. Hire Gasol to teach him how to get in right lanes at right time to off set his slower foot speed

nah masai told you raptors are in rebuild. good players cost 3-4 picks and what does that get you a play in or 1st round bounce, and then you stuck in mid with no picks and free agents dont sign in toronto. gotta draft and develop for a small market like toronto who wont pay the tax.

@@C-4-C draft picks may not always pan out but you have a dam good chance of picking a good player with raptors scouting staff. look who they got at 4 last time they were picking high in the lottery. also masai told you raptors are in rebuild which you seem to be in denial of. masai said rebuilds dont take 1 year and can take even 6 years. raptors are not gonna trade 3-4 picks to get a good player that basically puts the in a play in or 1st round bounce with no picks. that means raptors would be stuck in mid and thats a bad place to be with no picks.
you are acting like having a high pick is a bad place to be when in a rebuild, which is where the raptors are. masai said raptors are in rebuild.
you saw what 1 pick gets you already, agbaji who cant shoot and likely wont be on the team after his contract up in 2025. danny ainge dumped agbaji cuz he cant shoot and wont likely be able to shoot.
