The developer should pay his own fees/expenses, not hit the future home owners for it -- that's making big-money off a homeowner twice. I had never heard of this bond thing until I looked into The Villages (don't recall builders doing that in CO or TX).
BTW, in Florida I'd not want to sit with my back to ANY body of water. Safety first, as they say. ;-)

Disgusting the developers have zero concern swallowing up farm land, destroying trees, ecosystem for the almighty dollar. I live in the perimeter it’s extremely depressing!
