As a gay guy on the bisexual spectrum, I just wanna say: not all bisexuals are 50/50, some of us have strong gender preferences and ALSO identify as straight or gay in addition to being bisexual! You boys are on the Bisexual spectrum, and that's OKAY! You can say it! There's more than just straight or gay, and straight and gay can also be fluid!
I have a similar story. I am overwhelmingly interested in men. But I'd not say no to a hot lady. But I don't define myself as bisexual. Bcoz human brain tends to simplify everything. People want to know that you are either this or that. They wanna categorize you in order to make life easier for themselves. That's how human brain works. So I say that "I am gay". But in theory I am bi.

I think the same, expecially with respect to that spectrum. Most bi people are not 50/50 indeed.
But there is much more to say about it... I often say it's not 50/50, but it's 100/100, because feelings for anyone can be 100% if you are bi, feelings are not a 50% thing.
And that gets even easier to understand if we consider that you love a person regardless of their gender or sex, which is also where the definition of pansexuality also starts.
In other words: what do we actually define this "spectrum"? :
1. How mùch you feel for each gender when you compare them?
2. How òften you are attracted to a gender? (So I believe this explanation is often more relevant.)
Furthermore: there exists kind of a difference between romantic feelings (falling in love) and sexual feelings (getting aroused, etc.).
For example, you could be bi-romantic, but heterosexual or homosexual.
Hoping to make my point clear. It's all not that simple to define. :)
Nobody understands or believes this but I could probably have sex with a guy and enjoy it despite only being attracted to biological natural female bodies and only being able to fall in love with biological females. I am like 10% bi but I'm still ONLY attracted to female bodys and personalities, but I can still be turned on by the sort of situational chock value/tabooness of having sex with a guy, I'm more turned on by situations and by roles/dynamics than by bodies anyways. And ngl @nal is always gonna be @nal... When I explain this to people they think I'm a closeted gay guy who's just coping but I have only been with women and will always prioritize them.

I am bi, most Bi aren’t 50%. Many range from 30%- 70% of same sex attraction. I think you guys might be little sexually fluid.
there using 0 to 100 percent is confusing u feel like its backwards.1 to 10 is easier.
I think any attempts to “scale” bisexuality are going to be inherently flawed. I’m bi and I would say I’m pretty close to 50/50 split on attraction to men and women, but even that fluctuates from time to time. I have found that most bi people do experience shifts in attraction or their attraction to one gender may be highly situational or specific to a certain “type”.

Love you guys; you are doing great things for both straight and gay men. As a math teacher, I've to tell you that being a certain percent gay or straight means that the number indicates how much one is gay. So, being 40% gay means one is 60% straight. I don't think that is what Travis meant.

What he said is 40% being 0% super gay. So yeah, he is more gay than bi according to that metric. If he used a normal parameter it would be 60% gay, if 100% is super gay.

I believe that the best "label" (if we need to label someone) that we can put on Jeff and Mario is that they are "queer" individuals. They are beyond labels, beyond limits, beyond simplistic classifications of sexuality. They are sooo 21st century! And I love it. I wish all str8 men were like this.
