What you faced?
I had a 7 years relationship and it ended just before we were about to get married. Although I realized that I was saved, I suffered badly. But it turned me into a better and smarter person than I was and focused heavily on my career and money making. The one thing I have learnt is to never rush into relationships and wait till I get married coz I believe that karma never underpays people who have suffered. You are so right, a broken heart as painful as it & its very hard to handle but you have no choice but it makes a better person of you, its a realisation that you love, it makes a better person of you & you do meet someone more suitable & you know that the person you loved didn't love you. Relationships can last & I feel the honeymoon period is the actual relationship & can & should last your life time

Although I don't have a Venus Saturn conjunction myself, I can rely a lot to this aspect since I had it in a Transit with a stationary Saturn on my Venus.
I wouldn't say it's always about the fear of rejection. There is also the possibility of seeing relationships in such an unsentimental way that one developed just other priorities in life.
Under the influence of the Saturn Venus transit I started to understand that any relationship only makes sense to me if both parts gain something.
So I found myself in a place where I didn't gain a lot or even lost something in the relationships I was in.
This sounds probably quite unromantic, but I am a Libra. So I need balance in relationships....*))
I have my north node in Aries in the 5th house and my Sun conjuncting the south node in the 11th house, so my responsibility in this life is - among other things - to focus on myself, and get as autonom as possible.
This doesn't mean I can't have any relationship at all of course, but I want to feel at least as good with another person, as I am feeling alone, if I am lucky I am feeling even better with the other one. But if I feel worth than I am feeling alone, or even drained, it's not healthy for me, and then I prefer to be alone.
But there are exceptions of course...*)))
There are people who function similar or emphatic to my vibration.
It's just not this kind of vibration 'Lets hang out together...' I need to have the feeling to be productive with a person (have great conversations together, or doing something creative together...) or to have a cosy time together, but I don't 'just hang out together' and watch movies the whole evening, or talk for hours about things which are more or less meaningless to me.

Also what’s your Sun, moon and ascendant bc they also play a role especially if you have Sun or Moon in Libra bc Libra will know how to charm the opposite sex also water signs as well would be favorable in offsetting Saturn. Cancer Moon or Jupiter would also indicate relational prowess if not poorly aspected. Now your relationship may not be super hot and steamy however you could still have a loving family:)

Hi Kapiel, thanks for this. I have a question. Does it matter if Venus - Saturn conjunction is in a house ruled by Venus? For me, Saturn is at the lowest degree, but its in a Venus-ruled house (also the third house). I tend to pursue relationships when I am interested in someone.
but I have this in my ninth house alongwith Jupiter I feel really energetic and creative artistic and jolly really no issues does presence of Jupiter can make the difference here

Additional point for the second half where the Venus holds the lower degree . If we did rush into a relationship ( which happens a lot), and later find out this personal isn’t responsible enough .. we run . and we also take years to get over a heartbreak .

If you think about it Saturn is fearfulful but no matter how fearful things maybe there is always something out there that makes Saturn calm down and that is venus . somehow Venus has power to make Saturn happy. Therefore Saturn an conjunct to me seems like perfect combination.

This is bang on Kapil. I have Venus n Saturn aspect each other on natal chart and Venus Saturn conjunction in D9. I fell head over heals in early 20s on a guy, married, had kids... But all along he was a complete illusion. I didn't see the signals, red cards..he used me as a stock, once got settled with another woman while still married to me, then did a runner on me and my kids. Lol now it's been a decade and am still single, rejected few good men for fear of ever getting in a relationship again 😂 my kids r in their teens now. I have slowly learnt to let go of my fears, willing to open up to dating...coz I know and still believe there r many good men out there n a lot more matured now in how I view this world... but my X is secretly stalking me 😞 (this is probably due to my 12th house mercury n mars aspected by Jupiter sitting in 6th house) n making sure I don't date or find another man! ..overall yes my early marriage was the biggest lesson in my life.

There are some Karmic debts we have to pay in this life. And I also have Saturn opposition Venus. I also had failures in relationships. The relationships never went to a comitment level. Rest is up to the creater, whatever he wants.

oh goodness I experienced a "relationship" with someone who had this conjunction (it also conjuncted his moon) with Saturn being the lowest degree(tight 1 degree conjunction too) you are so right! he was hard to get in a relationship with coming up with every excuse in the book(sad part is he approached me first!) he didn't want to be in the relationship but WOULDNT let go! when I say he is the only and first person I hated on this earth I still twinge at the thought of it. lol took me a long time to get over that pain a year and some change(my venus also conjuncts his Saturn and moon ). I hate this conjunction! but this description is right on he is very responsible and very very very private! he came off cold and i could tell he was not comfortable with feelings but he did say he loved me which was a shock lmao! so many ppl would wonder if he would get into a relationship lol ! i hate it both natally and with synastry*wipes forehead* idk maybe it was bc we had double whammies( we both have moon and venus conjuncted all the way up we both have the same sign and are also conjunct as well so the moons were conjunct the venuses were conjunct then the moon conjunct to venus and his dag on Saturn was in the mix, i had never had so much pain in my life i put that on everything i don't like Saturn touching my moon or venus his was touching both as well lol!
