I used to be unhappy about having this conjunction in my chart, but the older I get, I think: "Saturn's realism is a good thing. A necessary thing. Relationships do take work and attention to thrive. The more clearly I understand this, the better my chances are at sustaining relationships."

One of the best descriptions of this conjunction that I have seen. My spouse has a Venus/Sat conjunct in Cap, while I have Moon in Cap + Venus in Aqua. All my relationships have been long-lasting and I am willing to put in the necessary effort needed (I don't expect a Disney fairytale lol). When I first started seeing my spouse (who is younger than me), he admitted he was not good at relationships or intimacy. However, because I am used to Saturn energy ruling both my female planets, I really felt comfortable with him and didn't see it as a negative thing. We both "get" eachother - it works well ! 😁

I have Saturn in Scorpio in the 4th, and Venus in Taurus in the 10th. So they aspect each other. I am an art teacher who really loves her students and I feel love from them too, and I have a beautiful home. I am perpetually single - 59 almost now - but I love my Spiritual Teacher and feel very blessed. In my D9, my Venus in Taurus goes to the 12th.

I have Venus and Rahu in Libra. And this combo has Saturn's aspect too. In my D9 chart, Saturn and Venus are holding hands together in Capricorn.
1) I have been an old man magnet.
2) I have always dated people 7 to 10 years older
3) I have been in long term committed relationships. But when they didn't work and I was heart broken, something just broke in my head and I went in this rebounding spree. I was meeting one guy for lunch and another guy for dinner. I'm not proud of it and I'm putting in a lot to change that.
4) I have always been a recipient of a lot of unwanted male attention (eg- married/committed males)
Also my Jupiter is sitting here (Jupiter, Rahu, sun, Venus and Mercury all sitting together because apparently my chart ran out of places for these other planters to sit in and mind their own business)... So yeah, one can do the math. Almost always a shitty relationship situation for me.

Actually, it would work better, if you forgot about yourself and tried to understand others... That's the trick with this one.
Things are also difficult when you do your best to understand the other person you're in a relationship with, but it's as if they don't want to show you who they really are, due to deep and constant confusion and frustration.

My 2 cents - I have this conjunction in 9th house Aries in both D-1 and D-9. I honestly have learned to truly understand lessons ( about myself) through relationships. Yes, none 'worked' out and now I'm in my late 40's, but I will say I don't crave/nor care for having a 'relationship'. If it does happen, o.k. But the intensity is not there anymore and what I did learn about myself through relationships honestly took me to another realm/level. I guess that's the 9th house situation.
