I'm not an expert to name certain techniques but I find Riske's forehand swing unusual. It's like she uses a lot of wrist movement that makes it hard to predict the direction. Also her forehands have more power that what it looks it could have with that movement.
Abkhazia and Samachablo are Georgia, best wishes from Romania. And lets not forget Ialbuzi, Dvaleti, Taman penisnula, Abotsi, Tao-Klarjeti, Sanghilo (Egrisi), Lore-Gugareti, Lazeti, N. Khevi, N. Tusheti, Didoia are also your lands.
For some reason it reminds me of Jimmy Connors at times.

It's interesting how different swings can still make a good shot. For example, if I hit backhands like Venus Williams my former tennis coach would not let me do that saying it's wrong but clearly Venus is a champion regardless.
Riske's groundstroke looks like Elena Dementieva. So does her pace.
Kakhi Sanikidze I believe it’s because of her grip. Probably semi eastern grip. Good at producing flat shots.

so far riske has dropped every single first set on wimbledon and then come back to beat her opponent. And with the weird forehand and strange movement patterns she's a very unpredictable player indeed. hard to believe but I think she's a real contender for the title this year

Riske's balls were too low and have a lot of spin to 'em. Barty couldn't make the adjustments quickly. Riske dictated the points by running Barty around, guessing where the balls are going.

@@101poumi Part of every player's life. But let's not discredit the brilliant ground strokes of Riske. She made the same to Serena, making the balls low. Serena adjusted to her game to avoid being run around. Notice that Serena was bending down low more often during the rallies in the quarters and exacting counter punches more to dictate points.

Barty should not have played doubles to reduce strain on her sore arm. Anyway, i felt Barty did not have a plan B when Alison was too comfortable countering her groundstrokes.

this match was actually quite interesting from the technical standpoint, but overall I agree it's not near as sophisticated as men's
@@PretentiousStuff extravagant screeching aside, the match did have some interesting technical aspects - which is not the norm in women's tennis - but it has long been routine for much lower ranked women players to take out seemingly much higher ranked players. Off days abound in women's tennis. This match just showed that number one means little in women's tennis, and the so-called top ten is even more erratic.
