I want these two to make a apocalyptic movie together. One of them is the other one's dentist who had to give them a ride home because the person who borrowed their car hadn't come back to get them. On the way home they get more and more suspicious as they don't see anybody else about, and cars abandoned on the motorway lead them to believe that the best course of action was to pop off to the bunker that was advertised by a street sign that he looked at on the way home everyday. The bunker is empty, so they move right in, and thankfully it has a snack machine inside the bunker because people on tours of the bunker get hungry occasionally. Upon hearing a very loud explosion they decide to close the door, while the power is still on. Little do they know, the power isn't actually on, the bunker is connected to batteries that are kept charged by the mains. The power actually went down about 10 minutes before the explosion. Much later, when they run out of food and spend a week trying to decide if one of them was going to eat the other, or if it would be better to go to the surface and scrounge, they decide to use the heaviest hazmat suit, because something felt very fake/costume-y about the lighter ones, and pop down to the shops. Still no people, lots of dust, just clouds of it hanging in the air, after a few minutes he returns to the bunker and says the other needs to go in his stead, since he is unacquainted with this side of London and he doesn't want to get lost. The movie ends when they are able to get a couple hundred pound-weight of food to the pantry, after days of scrounging, when they hear a helicopter overhead and they run out to see the Americans shouting from a megaphone "Europe is gone. Meet us at the A-1 overpass for relocation." The film ends when a large armored people-carrier smashes through a barrier on the overpass and (possibly Simon Pegg) opens the door and says "Get in the back boys, the Americans will meet us at the docks."
Depending on how well the movie does online it will get a sequel. Everybody Nuked everybody else, except for some odd reason, no one nuked America, and America didn't nuke anybody else. Apparently no one wanted the entire American nuclear arsenal aimed at them, nor did the Americans want to escalate the disaster. As it turns out, while they were at the dentist office everyone around them had been evacuated and they missed the boat. He waited in the waiting room for almost an hour before the surgery, then had a tooth removed, then spent the next hour and a half unconscious due to the drugs, then waited 2 more hours waiting for his ride before trying to send a text message, which failed to go through, then waited another half an hour before the dentist emerged from his room to say the rest of the staff had gone home, and because he didn't really know what he should be doing, he was going to close early. So for close to 5 hours they were doing dentistry while there were missiles headed straight for them. If the nuke hadn't hit far on the other side of London, they wouldn't have had enough warning to shut the doors before the wind from the blast reached them. Thankfully, sound travels faster underground so they heard the explosion several minutes before the damage reached them. Simon Pegg left the vehicle, after explaining this all to them, to go take a slash, but didn't come back. After waiting 45 minutes they took one step out of the car, heard gunshots in the distance, and decided to go on without him rather than risk losing one of them trying to save him. Also, they didn't have a gun and that sounded like a situation that might need the use of one. Now the tone of the movie(s) would actually be a bit playful. Not at all dark, just more of awkward, matter of fact, and satirical of most people in today's world not even having an "action face". They are not really sure how to process this and come across more annoyed than terrified. Maybe even a little gob-smacked, they weren't entirely sure how to react, so they didn't. The second movie would be mostly them disagreeing with the fastest way to get to the ocean, and arguing about which port the boat was to be at. Also, not knowing how to work the radio, it was using encrypted lines and they didn't know the codes. Were they going to the largest port, the nearest port, or the busiest port? Or maybe, the most used military port nearby. In any event, they don't know where they are going, and have to frequently stop because one of them gets a good idea of where to find a map, where to stock up on food, and generally where would be a good place to try to phone America to get directions. As it turns out, none of the radios they can find at the shops are using the same frequencies that the American military is using. In the end, they find a port, it's too small and completely abandoned. They head out to the sea on a small yacht, the larger one wouldn't start and they didn't know where to put the petrol so they picked a yacht that had been designed to look like a 1950's tugboat, even though it clearly had a modern engine and cupholders. After loading a couple coolers with salted meat and some tins of vegetables, they headed out on the water. The main thing is constant, amusing, conversations of ill-equipped and unprepared people for this sort of disaster. They were told by Simon Pegg that they were far enough from ground zero that as long as they leave the continent within a few hours, they shouldn't have to worry about the fallout. That is why they boarded the boat and left, heading west, hopefully.
If the movie needs a solid ending, (which I don't think it does) it can end with them getting picked up by a Chinese fishing boat, that also decided to head to America, but they are also incredibly lost. For some reason the EMP from all the nuclear explosions knocked out the communication and navigation satellites and they have been sailing blind for several weeks now.

Me thinks the cell phones and most other electronics won't work because of EMP (Electro-Magnetic Pulse) caused by the nuclear blast. Also, walking outside so soon after a nuclear blast will expose you to radioactive fallout which will likely cause you to die from radiation poisoning. Most of what was said here seems to be a joke. Too bad I can't recognize the humor in it.
