Cleaning our rooftop swimming pools. (So relatable)
I will say, if I could possibly afford a pool, I would also shell out around £1000 for something to clean it. I mean, it's about as practical for me to fantasize about how I would maintain a dragon, but I imagine scrubbing a pool is an annoying chore.
ILuvAyeAye gyym
That wallpapering machine is fantastic
Sadly it wasn't perfect.
unfortunately there is already a patent on something quite close in 1947 by a guy called William C Renne.
@@OoOoOo-we3dn that patent probably have expired.
But we're now in the 21st century. Wallpaper? Pffft, please. I have an idea for a futuristic "wallpaper" gadget: laser etchings and inkjet wall printing.
I hate wallpaper
Lmao everyone’s going after Andy so much, I just thought he was intended as a negative crux. Someone who was supposed to play the reluctant individual.
We have one of the SawStop panel saws at my work. I still have fingers because of it.
✗ Walking my dog
✓ Walking my table
Andy needs to cheer tf up
he's a jack ass haha
He's a luddite
Andy knows his kind is gonna be replaced by robots and end up on the street.
He's obviously playing the part of the skeptic.
He’d be good friends with Karl Pilkington
That swimming pool cleaner robot will one day turn into a sentient man.
They're kinda old tech I think. Most hotels have robots like that
@@jamesramplin8124 but then one day it will despise it's sentience, and yearn to return to it's simple cleaning duties....
I see what you did there. Its ZIMA right?
@@jonjay2014 hell yeah!
*guy from robot chicken* : "But can you f--- it?"
I need more shows with him in it.
this show will only get better with time as the gadgets become more and more outdated
13:52 dude took offense to the joke hahaha
He's a luddite lmao
😂
Damn, they had an idea so good they turned it into a real product. That's wild.
9:54 - for a sec I thought they're happily demolishing the Taskmaster house.
God bless the Gadgetman engineers
that saw safe guard is brilliant
Then: We’ll look back and scoff at this cupcake.
Now: Ghost Guns.
Was looking for this exact comment.
Thank you for giving these to me.
That brick wall fooled no-one.
Andy was a bit of stick in the mud with some of the gadgets but can we talk about how the sawstop blew his mind?
This is the best episode yet!
This episode brought me such joy ^^
Thank you 💗
You all would love Wintergatan´s Marble Machine!
"Using as little power as a 60 watt bulb" ...so, 60 watts then.
Get Lucky played by actual robots!
Get robotic
Great show brother.
So... how exactly does that painting robot handle ceilings, windows, trim, sockets, etc.
I just painted my whole condo, and covering large surfaces is no problem at all - it's putting up all the masking tape that's the real work.
That said, I WANT that wallpapering gadget. Some gadgets are clearly better than others.
The painting robot was designed for car manufacturing where you just spray every inch of the car frame. This was just an interesting proof of concept of using it for painting home interiors but it's not designed for that.
woooowwww i love this show
Is this really Richard's house? I would never have expected such extravagance from him. 😶
No, it's not owned by Richard, the show just films inside it. It's a house in Kent called the Lime works.
Was listed at $2.1M last time i looked..
That was a stupid question, wasn't it?
Andy im dectecting a negative😂🤣😂😂
@ 14:01- For a second, I thought they programmed the painting robot to play Daft Punk.
I need the entire pan flute daft punk collection. NOW!
he's testing the lawn mower when his lawn is already mowed!!!!
If you have a lawnmower robot, your lawn is always mowed.
anyone else notice at 15:22 the massive paint drips running down the wall (bottom of the screen)???
They also make the Flymo brand of robot mowers, for a much smaller price @ £500. It doesn't have as much tech in it, but its still essentially the same thing - I know, I have one!
I feel like Andy would still be living in the caves if he was in charge because "that's more manly".... also the way he touched Annas waist made me instantly dislike him...his every word added to that lol
Right after this, Charlie and Pete both bought SawStop saws. Pete probably bought two.
Should have picked up the robot mower. Loudest alarm I've ever heard, way louder than a backup beeper on a comurical vechical.
Who’s house is this? It’s pretty amazing.
What is that giant upside down cone in the main sitting area of the gadget house? Makes the room look like a coffee filter.
3:39 excuse me?
thats not a house, thats a castle
Dawko broke the window with his hammer
What a shame, the Power8 Workshop has terrible reviews (and is no longer accessible). It sounded like a cool idea for handy people who live in a small apartment.
He says "room" like inspector Clouseau. "Reum"
Ready to paint a wall, que daft punk
"Using as little power as a 16 Watt bulb" sooo... 16W?
Honey I Shrunk The Kids invented this mower 😂
😂😂😂! Oh yes! I love that movie!
i see a few problems with the wallpaper gadget corners and windows
Sure, but you use it as a time saver on most of the wall and use the old method on the edge cases like that.
My biggest question would be how you smoothly apply it from high above your head to the bottom of the floor in one motion. To be fair, I have never applied wallpaper the usual way, and how that works is also a mystery, hah. But if you are on a ladder, and need to remain facing the wall vertically the entire time down... It sounds precarious.
My best guess - you stand on a platform that is set up about a foot away from the wall. You do the top part yourself, and then hand the tool to a friend standing on the floor below you.
How do you align the next roll so the pattern matches?!
"They alway say I should get more sun and less tv..."
There is Good Gadgets then there is Crap, kinda feel sorry for this Guy. Leave Him alone He is special
Behold Zima Blue
How old is this show? It only recently showed up in my recommendations, is it for CZcams premium only?
2013 at least.
nearly 7 years old.
@Bessie Belle No it was 30 September 2013.
@Bessie Belle wanna check wikipedia or tvdb?
Have you heard of a search engine?
A completely new way of ingesting plastic
Is the robot-band "dare" a Gorillaz reference?
"Wallpapering by hand in near madness" i wonder what the second wallpaper would have looked like applied with this "machine"
I think that could be figured out - perhaps a little arrow on the left side of the machine that you line up with the end of the paper you have already put down. Spirit guides integrated into the machine could help ensure each piece is applied vertically.
The part that confuses me is how you start a strip of wallpaper near the ceiling above your head, and make it go straight all the way down. My best guess involves a platform you stand on, and a friend who takes the gadget from you to continue the bottom part.
@@ILuvAyeAye doubt it considered the struggle he had putting down the first one. walpapering by hand is not that hardand still the easiest way to do it
3d print glass if you can.
All underlined the futility of existence really.
*looking at 3d printer* "OMG it's the future" lmao litarly 2 decades old technology.
it's an older episode tbf
These were recorded back in 2012
@@wernt0 First viable 3D printing patent is from 1986! The very first is from 71.
Only a true business neophyte would waste time trying to patent a simple bunch of rollers in a frame for the Gadget Man Wallpaper Machine. BTW I would buy one lol
but more importantly, why did Charlie think a blazer and FLIP FLOPS WAS ACCEPTABLE LOOK?
dude he looks like the guy from madam secretary geoffrey arend
Zima Blue 2:25
Mario kart koopas challenge OST
That end bit is further proof that the pan flute is the lowest form of musical expression.
I think this is Episode 205, not 204
Zimo blue
evidently richard hasn't heard of support material because those forks suck
I hope Skynet and the Cybermen come for you first.
"Why would you want a walking table?"... What? WHAT?! That is the only gadget I saw this episode that I wish I could own!
But on second thought, perhaps Andy is not a weak person who lives alone in an apartment with easy scratched floors. That's a fair point.
Rich! You’ve got pudgy man!!
Please.. Is there any corona virus ditector gadget?
How about a Corona virus removal gadget.
Their is a table, and the table has legs, and the table is walking down the street. Its a joke. Total Borat.
HAHAHA the 3D printer. Back then they had no idea what it would be used for. Fast forward 7 years and now look how it's used. Many people have one and they are used for a bunch of different things that are actually useful.
Was this filmed in 2020? Everyone's acting like they've never seen a 3D printer before.
No, it aired on 30 September 2013
Printer is broken
That phone looks like a 4 4s or 5 5s
25k for a spray gun.... Ridiculous.
too many commercials
Buy tons of crap you don’t need and then complain about corporations:D
"Justin Beiber owns one" - you may as well have said "it will repeatedly punch you in the genitals".
Jesus Andy, lighten up ffs.
He's there so the video gets more comments!
My belly button stinks
This is a mildly entertaining glorified catalogue
Shame about you, pushing shank product for easy profit
Soon there will be no art left...
