This Zelda is amazing and completely new and you need to learn to count. zelda ocarina of time the oldest that was remade was 18 years old. And each game added new mechanics, you just haven't played any zelda did you? And they are making a new console you ignorant troll. you must live under a rock or something to know so little about Nintendo.

You should read several times before replying, I said the oldest TO BE REMAKED, not the oldest. the very first one never had a remake just a reedition on the GBA, I am a huge fan of Zelda I would not make such a huge mistake.

They confirmed the artstyle is based of traditional hand drawn Japanese animation so I can see why.
Is that blood on the Logo's mastersword? Could that mean that this Hyrule could be not so peaceful? Maybe at war for example?

Past probs
Well I might have an idea. mostly a theory in fact, but well the Master Sword of the logo is stained with Blood and there is no other detail on the logo of the game than that bloody master sword. So it could be during one of the wars that Hyrule had (Civil War before Ocarina of time for example, or the sealing war before A link to the past) I mainly think before A link to the past because in that timeline the hero of Time is defeated in the end of the Ocarina of Time era, the bloodied master sword could be the symbol of the previous hero's defeat.
This trailer is making me feel like my heart has been hit with a ton of bricks, I need this game!

This game looks beautiful! But there seemed to be a lot of nature and almost no buildings and towns were shown, maybe that's why the name is "Breath of the Wild". But usually in Hyrule there are towns and castles and stuff, and this couldn't be more ancient than the other games because there are things like robots-type monsters and that high-tech bow. And I saw that Link was wearing a blue tunic and an armour at some point, but no typical Link green suit? :(
And the buildings that were shown were partly destroyed and looked old, maybe this is set on a time where there are almost no people and so Hyrule is taken over by nature?

I'm just worried the open-worldness is gonna take away from the classic Zelda feel. I'm concerned they changed a bit too much of what makes the Zelda games what they are.
Cuz Skyrim and Fallout 3/4 is cool and all, but it got on my nerves after a while. I hope dungeons make up for it.

Phil Pro Open world in a 2D game is a bit different than open world in a 3D sense, especially when scope is involved.

Well I just died. Of course I'm excited about it but it looks kinda... empty to me? I hope there are other characters and it's not just Link being the last person alive!! That would be so boring imo. Also, I like how this world seems to be Hyrule after at least a decade. The world is astonishing and I like the many new features, e.g. climbing on trees, rocks,... Now I get why it took Nintendo sooo long!
You can see someone else cutting down a tree in the background at 1:32. Kinda looks like a bear but its cutting a tree down so i dont know.

According to Eurogamer the world is packed with stuff to do. So no need to worry!
Nintendo confirmed they removed elements such as NPCs and the towns from the E3 demo to avoid spoilers and this only around 2% of the games map as the entire overworld is 12 times larger than Twilight Princess.

Why would you want them to spoil the plot of the game? They've given us all the information we need: Hyrule has been in ruins for an incredibly long time, Link has woken up in a sheikah temple thing with a sheikah slate, and some unknown voice (probably Zelda's) is telling her to wake up and save the world. We also know that a major part of the game is exploration, and that they player is encouraged to explore and discover the story on their own.
If Nintendo went and told you what the story was, a major portion of the game would become irrelevant. Of course they wouldn't do that.

I mean, it's obviously not going to be a usual Zelda game. The trailer alone makes it pretty obvious that it's going to be a departure from what we're used to. And if you look at anything else they've shown about the game it's even clearer. Open world, completely optional dungeons, you can even skip straight to the end of the game from the very start if you want to. If you want to know whether or not it's a usual Zelda game, then why wouldn't you go and see for yourself? It's a game play trailer, not a FAQ.
