they are sikhs .. they fought in ww1 and ww2 against nazi .. many of them lost their life to protect white people and their lands .. brave sikhs .
+david barley i agree with you david.. and doest matter if the people were white or black that time.. the thing which matters is that we all are human beings... and this is something we got extra special from other living things, being human, respect humanity..i am a sikh and i am proud do be born in such religion where i am always taught to be a good, gentle, respectful and helpfull person.. :)
Okay, so they fought in the ww1 or ww2 and gave their lives, but when British invaded India and Pakistan; their own religion countries. Do the Sikhs not feel the regret for giving their lives for something else, Lmao.
+NetPro khan That time India was divided in to more than 400 small states ruled by Kings, every one was hving some score to settle with the other. Now it is united through democratic elected govt. And prior to it read the history of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, who defeated many powerful Pathan invaders badly. Now Britain will not even think to attack India.
The truth is there were more KHANS then Sikh,s who were fighting for British in both world wars unlike sikh the pathan were bitter enemy,s of the british as well SO before saying anything against the sikh brothers look at ourselves as well.
To count it all up and not get betrayed by one by the other. Only fight for the sake of ALLAH (god), in this you will never get betrayed, and you will achieve reward. Fighting for created things is foolish at even sight and you can get betrayed since creation is imperfect, while creator is 100% perfect.
I cried. This man is truly a hero. Humanity is not lost.
We will continue to do the best we can for the counties we now occupy and protect the weak as always. Thank you for you kind words.

Once I thought humanity lost but I came back believing there is still god in us . may god keep us hopefully for ever . good luck

Sikhs are a different breed, thoroughly spiritual people I'm glad we have Sikh temples in New Zealand now. If you are ever in trouble, run to a Sikh.
Peace and Love to all Sikhs 🙏
❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I don't think they're a different breed. They just come from a different culture.
❣❣
if I wasn't a Christian, i'd definitely be a Sikh! Keep up the great work, much respect to you guys!
You're more than welcome to learn about Sikh way without needing to convert. In fact, the only conversion we have is when one voluntarily takes the initiation ceremony to become a Khalsa. Vast majority of Sikhs are not member of Khalsa and didn't undergo any formal initiation/conversion of sorts. Visit YT Channel called "Nanak Naam". It's a good one for a western audience.
I am English and would love to see a Sikh as prime minister in our country . I cannot think of anyone else I would trust with our future. great great men !!!!!
We have one coming here in Canada. Jagmeet Singh
Thank you, but your people will assassinate him.
@@joban8177 where is this hate coming from? Because Sikhs assassinated Gandi? For the minorities of a nation of 1.5 billon it was like killing Hitler being killed in Nazi Germany. Nice try. Get your facts right

Completely agree, I’m not trying to generalize or anything here but it’s true every single one of them I’ve met so far was brave, honest and very good people
I am white and Scottish. We visited the Punjab last year and found Sikhs, both men and women, to be amongst the most hospitable and friendly people we have met. If I needed help and a Sikh was close by I would have no hesitation in approaching them. Well done young man!
Sikhs are very brave and honorable people. I wish we had more of them in Europe.
Thanks for the compliment
you're welcome, sir!

A Sikh will be the first to save a humans life. I remember in Brampton Ontario Canada I was driving and approached a traffic stop. A car zoomed across and jumped the curb and crashed into a wall. The man apparently had a heart problem and could not stop his car. I ran out of my car to assist the man. Soon as I approached I noticed he was a Sikh man and regardless of his body injured and clenching his chest due to a heart attack, he said "please get my turban it fell off". I got it and placed it respectfully on his chest. Medics arrived. The man was saved and alive.
Stay brave who ever you are we all have a little bit of god in us and at that time your little bit shined alot
Wow that is some story .. i will share with other sikhs
It’s a hat.
supermecho3 Your an ass hat
@flyby49 what else did you want him to do? save himself? he probably thought he was going to have his last moments in that car and wanted his hat to be with him when he passed away. you are quick to connect dots that were never connected in the first place.
Sikh are good people, they often go into towns here in Australia and give food and blankets to the homeless, paid for from their own pockets.

Thanks
i'm so happy to be a sikh and to see someone like harman do what he did and get something in return.
I would request some of viewers and remove the misconception.... Sikhs are not Muslums there's a HUGE difference between Sikhism and Islamism......
The turban might confuse you for skull cap Muslims wear.... Turban is bigger and large than a skull cap....
Ofcourse religion doesn't matter in face of humanity... but in the age of rising Islamic Jihadism I wanted to educate to save a misdirected response!
v3nky 123 i know the difference. i'm a sikh.
+Manveer Kaur Uhoh...i was piggy backing on top comment to get noticed... that comment was not an actual reply to u mam :)
v3nky 123 alright, it's fine. thanks for being so respectful. made my day!
+Manveer Kaur Speaking of respectful, I'm an atheist, however, I respect everyone's right to practice the religion of their choice. Of all the religions in the world, I respect Sikh's above all.
The Sikhs were feared by their enemies. Great warriors.
This person is just innocent, you can see on his face.
This act of humbleness made me affirm why I am so intrigued to learn more about Sikhism. The Sikhs are truly people that warm my heart and soul and make my emotions do somersaults. THANK YOU SIR!!

Finley Lomas I know what you mean, people was grateful to him anyway thats the important thing I guess.
well done brother you did the right thing.....mate...your proved what sikh is meant for !!
Okay. Now don't make one person the whole center of a religion. What he did was good. But-first logically establish which religion is from the one true Merciful God. Then say.
+NetPro khan obviously not your religion of AL TAQIYAA.

Sikhs are wonderful!
sikhs were created for mankind. they are modest, humble, hard working and compassionate people. but don' t underestimate them by their modesty and humble attitude, the sikhs are one of the most ferocious fighting machines with determination and will power, they are the bloody grand daddys of the 300 men of greece. remember the famous Battle of Saragarhi was fought before the Tirah Campaign on 12 September 1897 between British Indian Army and Afghan Orakzai tribesmen... where only 21 sikh soldier hold positions against 10000 afghan muslim jihadis. sikhs are people with super human bravery and compassion . i am not sikh but fortunate hindu proud to say I share India with such brave people.
Thank you ❤❤👍🙏🙏
Saragarhi se v uppr ek ldai lddi thi sikho ne jo chamkur sahib ne lddi gyi thi guru ji ke sahibjyade ke dwara jisme 40 sikh or 10 lakh mughal
great
Not forgetting the battle of chamkaur which was 40 vs 10 lakh mughals. The sikhs prevailed as guru gobind singh who they was there main target had killed thousands and ran away. I dont know why the battle of 300 amazes every one, this is should too
Don't make this political, Ahmed Shah Abdali liberated India many many times!!!! Either you don't know the history or you are in denial.
like many religious traditions i believe turbans are misunderstood. it's not "wear this or go to hell". it's "wear this in public please." i know a few sikh men who do not wear turbans and they have not been tossed out of their religion. mr.singh in fact did exactly what his religion told him to do - be of service to mankind. the most important thing is to serve mankind. well done, harman.
Buddy.. I agree with most of what you said. . Sikhs haven't thrown out those who chose to not wear a turban or cut their hair. But that's all it is.. a choice people made. I'm replying to your message to say that such tolerance in our religion shouldn't be confused with what the rule is. The un-cut hair & the Turban are crucial to a practicing Sikh's identity.
But again I agree with you that this gentleman did exactly what the religion preaches.. that is to help other human being. Thousands of Sikhs sacrificed their lives for others.. I'm glad there still are some who carry on that tradition.
thank you so much for your input! if someone has cut hair, but has all the other sikh items (example, the metal bangle), what is your leaders' response? are they frowned on because of the hair, or are they fine, it's a choice?
+milkweedsage Well.. the answer to that question is becoming more and more irrelevant. We still preach in our Gurdwaras every day the importance of the five articles of faith. Our youth however.. often consider fashion more important than the tradition. Then there are others who feel that they have to look like others to be accepted in the society. Then sadly there are those who are misguided and feel that the five articles of faith are not so relevant anymore.
The religious authorities seem to have lost this battle. Yet have not set the best example for the youth and this has lead to a constant deterioration in our values and respect for the religion overall. That however is probably the case with all religions.
i strongly suspect that's true. i know very few religious young people. those who are religious, are for the most part pagan. the other families i know who have devout parents have kids that exhibit some kinds of turning away from the religion. for example, my sikh friend wears a turban, but his son does not. from what i can gather, the son never has. i haven't asked him why because it's not really my business, but when we were kids i had always assumed that his kids would follow tradition. his son has short hair.
mind you i can't point fingers. for the first 10 years of life i was in an atheist household and then a christian one til i was 18. despite still having near 100% christian family, the only religions that make any sense to me are buddhism and midewewin. i don't know enough about sikhism :)
+milkweedsage Sadly that's why a lot of us don't understand enough about religions other than our own. We are to afraid of asking the question. I find that questions are better than generalisations.. something we are all very good at.
Sikhism teaches humanity first and religious practice second
+Prabhinder Sahni Islam teaches God comes before ANYTHING
+kasim8t3 Yes. And if all muslims were sikhs this world would be a lot happier place to live and there wouldn't be wars in the Middle East.
haha blame the people not the religion!
Religion is to blame because it teaches values and creates culture. Some cultures are more peaceful than others, some teaches we're all valuable, some that we're not. Islam teaches that you're only worth something if you follow Quran and if you don't, you'll be punished in this life and the after life. In other words islamic ideology creates a culture of hate, finger pointing and fear. That's why it has never really worked anywhere and it never will. Muslims can't even get along with each other, that's how intolerant environment Quran creates. And yes, I've read it.
kasim8t3 sikhism also teaches god come before everything.in sikhism good deeds are more important than relegious practices not god.being kind is part of meditating on god
What a lovely humble man. Anyone else would probably say "I want this and that etc". I always have time for Sikhs.
