Interessing you mentioned this. There this body horror manga called franken fran, in one chapter some girl keeps doing more surgery to turn into an anime girl in order to some dude to notice her. Can't say it ended well.

Never in my life I thought I would run into an Adolf Hitler figure stop motion/review, but man did you do a great job at making it entertaining.
No matter your views on Hitler. That was a very well crafted figure. While I could never see myself owning one for display. I could defiantly see myself owning an AH-Chan. It would be less of a "You have a Hitler Figure? YOUR SICK!" and more of a "You have a Hitler SS Cosplay Anime Girl Figure? You Sicko!" I can live with the second view.
It's like owning one of those sweet KOTOBUKIYA horror girls. Like Chucky or Pennywise (I'd go into those dead lights *wink wink*). Makes me less of a creepy horror fan and more of a.... pervert.... ya, I can live with that.
Anyway, where was I going with this. Oh ya! Great review. Will have to check out more of your vids now. :D

Man Manager Moon is such a badass character. Seeing all other Murder machines assemble together and cornering Ah Chan (god this new name is cursed) at 5:56 really does show that Moon is indeed the one in charge

Well, this is a interesting figure review to say the least. But this video reminded me why I love Moonshine animation, the dark humor and terrify effects is pretty good, I do find what happen in the end is darkly hilarious.
Memories. As a teen I'd occasionally prank call the toy department at different stores and ask for a Karate Chop Action Adolf Hitler Doll. Normally hang ups, but sometimes they'd giggle or actually look for it. Strange synapse to have fire up after all these years XD

Well technically he wasn't a Fascist. Nazis and Fascist do not exactly get along very often, even in the 1920/30s they were at each others throats about as often as the Nazis were with Communist. Heck Hitler had the leader of Fascist Austria assassinated and his number 2 was arrested and put in prison for years.
A Fascist believes in using Nationalism to bring all the social groups within society together. The Nazis believed in creating a Racial State. Fascist and Nazi's concept of nationalism are entirely different. A Nazi's concept of the nation is literally based on the Race/Ethnicity. A Fascist is not. This is why Mussolini often mocked Hitler's racist concept of Nationalism, favorite quote being "Race is more of a feeling, there is no purity." ie basically stating Race doesn't exist. Yes Mussolini said that.

When I called modern, I was doing that in reference to the fact that there are flags for various bits of Germany going back for literally a thousand years. The bit about the modern federal republic was nothing more than talking shit about Merkel.
btw, the yellow/gold, dates back to flags from the 9th century. I see no reason for the general color scheme to change in the couple of hundred years from now till Momongas time. And since his old world is implied to be an extension of ours, with it being a corporate hell/environmental clusterf**k distopia, pretty standard types tbh, I have no reason to think otherwise from the evidence presented so far. Honestly, I am not sure where the red comes into play with German flags, but that is neither here nor there.
If so, that yellow/gold might have been taken from Momonga from some future German empire..... but where did they get it? The yellow/gold itself, the Emperor of the Romans, aka the Holy Roman Emperor was a black eagle on a yellow field, which afaik gets it from the title that would later be called The King of the Romans (or maybe it was the other way around, early and high medieval history are not my general area of interest but technically speaking, you don't get accounts of "germans" until the 1000s or so)
edit: fun fact: when talking history, "modern" goes back to sometime around the 1500s-1600s, as it directly follows the end of the late medieval age. Which happens at different times in different places, generally speaking southern places get into the modern age earlier due to the Italian renaissance being what kickstarted it all. So if you look at central or norther Italy, then you are even back to the mid 1400s.

@@killian9314 Definitely takes inspiration from reality, but I'll disagree on Maruyama choosing a dystopian European Union rather than clichéd nadzees just to avoid cancel culture.
The light novels came out in 2010 or so; on top of being marketed to a Japanese audience, fears of cancel culture were definitely not a factor.

Fun fact, the typeface style used at 8:22 is commonly associated with the Nazi movement because early in the reich’s lifespan it was identified as the most uniquely German typeface, being very traditional and regal. However, due to rampant anti-Semitic witch-hunting and paranoia, it was completely abandoned before the end of WWII due to claims that it was “too Jewish” in appearance.
