  • This lesson shows you how to build a locale switcher for a localized Webflow site. This allows visitors to select a preferred locale or language from a dropdown menu in the navbar. We’ll build and style the switcher using the Locales list and Dropdown elements in the Webflow Designer and then switch locales on the site to demonstrate its seamless simplicity.

Far less than Weglot for 5 languages, and without word limit. But yes, still high price mark 😢

And what If I want to get the locales item also translated? When I'm at Spanish locale I want to see "Inglés, Alemán, Español", and when I'm at English locale "English, German, Spanish".

Another way since you are storing everything in a subdirectory is to just make a drop down with the directory like /es you don't need to over complicate with a locale list. Though it would be nice if you had flags on the locale list.

Hope it's soon possible to use flags and see the current selected language in the navbar, instead of the generic "languages" text.

The list options should change of language once you select another. In other words, when I select spanish, the list options should appear in that language automatically.

Why do we have to buy an extra subscription just to be able to use localisations? Webflow has never had features that werent already included in the hosting packages…

Probably because all of the 3rd party software solutions that offer a translation service are charging for it?

Please fix the bug that occurs when typing in Korean. The cursor kept moving to the beginning while typing, so the client requested a refund.

Hey @bottel, you can do so by choosing the current locale and setting its display to none.
