This video helped me out a lot! I was wondering if there was a way to update the text lines in game. I'm currently taking on the task of making a d&d/Legend of Zelda map and I wanted to have a quests tab. the problem is being able to update the quests to say completed when in game. any thoughts?

Thank you so much for this, I tried editing someone else's version, but I had no clue how to do it.
Side Note: I'm having trouble setting up the image for the third category (the button icon). I have the picture renamed to "icon_temptwo" and in the other file I have the section_topic as "temptwo" as well. I also made sure to add a "testtwo" area under the section and button, also renaming everything in that line. Am I missing something here?

hey do you know how to change the green overlay on ui elements, you can't change a bunch but the basic ui ones like play and options aren't on the vanilla folder and there is no documentation

Dakon for future addons can you put them on mcpedl or put the link at the top of the description because on Xbox I can’t get to the download link.
He makes it possible to get on Xbox, what I do is view the video on my phone and go to the description, then look for McAddon or McPack link and copy that link and then type it into my xbox. Boom simple, but you cannot get mods or addons anymore unless you have the My Files Explorer app which in GBP costs 2.19 and there is a 24hr free trial but if you do this stuff a lot I would but it.
Just use an app like Facebook and send it to yourself from your current device to your xbox.

I am curious could this be use to make ingame world maps. im going to attempt to make a type of Hearts of Iron mod for bedrock. so i am trying to figure out the map. i want the territories to be ether chunks which i think would be the easiest. or 100x100 block areas, or get the game to generate provences at random it would be nice to get the game to sperate land from oceanic territories. i want it to show terrain as well as have the ability to show a political map mode which would show nations territories, Opinion Map mod which would allow to over a nations territory as well ad the countries name. and it will show by color code the opinions of nations. blue for the target nation, grey for neutral opinions, light green for good opinion, dark green for allied, orange for negative, and red for at war. etc.
i would like the ui to beable to allow a player to create there own nation allow the player to ether create from presets mainly real word nations, and ideologies or make your own, custom flags, ideologies, religions, currencies, ranks, map colors.
Countries would receive modifiers based on ideologies, religion, currencies, for example the ideology democracy would increase your countries stablity, and military but would lower government efficiency such as adding a senate, house of representitives, or in the case if using the USA preset having both the house and senate, which you would need to have majority backing to proceed with policy, projects, and deplomacy, and cant claim territory and declair war on other countries unless an ally is attacked.
While a communist state would have cheaper militaries and equipment, more effeicient government, high manpower but would have less stability, troop/equipment quality and slower justify times.
Facist states would have faster justify times, great troop/equipment quality, more warsupport while haveing more expensive militaries, less manpower, stability, etc.
Using america, soviet union, and germany as examples of the preset ideologys because there the best examples of those ideas. there would also be imperialist, militarist, federalist, republican, technocracy, parlamentary monarchy, socialist etc. and countries could even mix ideologies for example federal republic, technocratic monarchy.
for a military i would like to use pillagers and villagers, with pillagers being solders and villagers being civilians, which would be customizable loadouts, uniforms, armor, etc. hats, shirts, pants, shoes, arm patches, this way you can recognize your own troops from other nations troops, and civilians.
using your pillagers you would be able to draw up battleplans for invading countries, garrison cities, forts, territories and borders. and protect your villagers. but when you declaire war on another nation the garrison would become hostle to the opposing nations pillagers and will on the nations leaders orders begin invading base on your drawing plans.
your villagers would be what you would use to build and populate your cities, factories, farms. you can create blue prints, and they would be able to build them. you can setup production lines, infrastructure, houseing. and if needed be recruited into your pillager army.
one thing to not is you should treat them right or maintain your power the best you can or they can rebel and form there own nations. or really mess your nation up. leaving you vulnerable to invasions. for example going to war to often, unjustified wars, sky high taxes, rampet crime, etc.
the maps territorys would would consist of unclaimed territories/colonizable territories where you would have to ether settle it this is land build a city and populate it to claim the land. these would be the easiest territories to claim.
national territories, land that has structures such as villages, cities, pillager camps, mansions, and colonies. and these intern would consist of territories, cores, cities and capitals. each would take more to annex. territories being the cheapest to annex, cores, and cities being a bit more expensive to annex, and capitals being the most expensive. which would be point based where captureing cities and capitals. would judge how many victory points which would be used in making demands. annexing territories, vassilizations, and other forms of forced deplomacy.
i was able to do most of this in a more manual settings, command block market. and a manual map. but i want to find a more automated and refined way making this work. and moding seems to be the ticket i just need to figure out how to make. custom entities, blocks, dimensions, UIs. and time seeing how i have very little knowladge on the coding aspect.

this is just texturing the help menu and adding buttons to it its different you can use this to show show how to craft things or have credits thats what this video is for

It means you did an error when playing around with the template. This happens to me a lot too, im still trying to fix it

Use MCREATOR to make the mod and then download My Files Explorer and download the addons from mcpedl and extract them to the resource and behavior folders
