The first question of just a few I am dying to ask Jane Fonda is about her relationship with Katharine Hepburn. Fonda says that Hepburn did not like her, but encouraged her at some points during the filming of On Golden Pond. But given Fonda's political background, and Hepburn's in her early years in Hollywood and being named at the McCarthy HUAC hearing - especially Hepburn's mother, who was a suffragist and a Marxist - I'd have thought the elder actress would have warmed to Fonda and her activism and feminism and all that.

Its interesting how these blanket diagnosis were used in some of the cases that I've come across which led to the prescribing of medications. I also see no mention of the backgrounds of each patient including detailed genograms (attachment styles) of the developmental stages when each portion of the inter-generational, complex trauma took place. The lack of emotional dexterity needed to have a healthy, functional, loving, evolved, self aware self image influences who you choose to marry, a fact that has long lasting generational ramifications. Attachment Styles also influence how you parent and care for your children. The fact that this approach to mental health led to many things, including people being sent to mental institutions which in turn lead to their subsequent suicide, is truly disturbing

I’m not her she by two decades and I’d love to look like her.shes 80 but so much closer to buying the farm. Time moves fast , but she’s gonna be a pretty corpse Gee, no winning in this world, I do t want to die, I don’t want to be 80, so I’ll just shut up, if I don’t die from other problems, I still might see 80, I don’t want to be at that age when you know you can’t trust your day cause you woke up dosnt mean you’ll be alive for supper , shit life is horrible

interesting in so many ways - largely well done..but why ask such a ridiculous question re: *why* she thought the relationship didn't work out?? *after* she *clearly* stated Hayden made it difficult to love him - because he was an alcoholic and a womanizer??
not understanding and accepting what she said - by hanging on to that topic - is proof that, *yes,* there *is* such a thing as a stupid question.
so, journalists: if you want to be taken 100% seriously by readers and viewers, please *stop* asking such ridiculous questions of your subjects.
i mean, wow! because experience should tell you, who are veterans in the entertainment news business by now to:
let go of your attachment to your prepared list of questions and *instead* respond to the *conversation* with follow-up questions - based on *how* they've answered previous ones!
otherwise?, just smh..because it makes you sound like a *People Magazine* robot... who is *paid* to be a robot vs. a real human being, talking with other human beings. 🙁 🤷👎🙅

roxanneworld11 this observation is absolutely on point. Jane on the other hand is like a wisdom vault. Love her.

A relationship ends for a multitude of reasons not just the obvious ones. She answered the deeper reasons, so I would say the interviewer was successful.
