I have a sneaky feeling Lutz is going to be a problem this season. He has a leg up on just about everyone going into this season. He already had enough to run with and beat the top guys before the new changes. Consistency will be his issue. If he can maintain some consistency he will be a force i feel.

Well now,, from where we sit those 34.5's didn't hurt Ryan a whole lot. True they can set that hotrod up daymn fine no matter the obstacle but those two launches and partial pass's looked doggoned good.

Dave is going to be a real threat. He was super fast in a car shaped like a brick and built for street racing, he'll be super fast in the purpose built car. Shawn and Lutz should do good as well.
If you call making it to the finals of the great 8, winning a few great 8âs, and not winning one event the past 5 seasons a threatâŠ..then Ryan is going to be just fine. Dave does well on the same day of racing like the great 8, gets the tune right and doesnât have to change it bc itâs all the same day/night. Where the event itself is 2-3 days if you make the rounds, weather and track both change which causes tunes to change, and thatâs where he fails. Itâs facts. Dave with a new car, same results. Shawn? LMAO, Shawn wonât do crap as he hasnât the past five seasons. Lutz will be competitive. There is one true threat, Kye Kelly, and he has to get his teammates to lose races against him to even get close. There are no threats until one proves themselves consistently.

I think about my parents and sister and brother in law and my cousins and it's a drag but if I wake up tomorrow I will keep trying.

I bet turbo's are even better this year because the smaller tire will take less at the start of the run so it will negate some of the advantage the blower cars have on them down low.

Shawn definitely was most improved from this past season 6 to how the only thing he was consistent at was being inconsistent. Drastic 180 in season 6 of npk. Hopefully he can start season 7 with the same performance or better that he had in the second half of season 6. If he does he will be in the top 3.

Kayla and Jim Howe winning towards the end of last season's NPK weren't getting their cars beat up with additional wear and tear from the great 8 races. So we'll see when they start racing double the amount they did last year.
