Oh, boy, I've been waiting for this deck since you've mentioned Taii Wakeen in the end of last season... and I was not disappointed! Crazy good card, I'm definitely gonna try it!

This is an awesome deck, and I love the use of virtue of courage. Lots of underused cards putting in work in this one!
Those tend to surprise the opponents the most sense they likely have played against some of the cards before.
Neat deck, fun to see someone build with the sniper!
I do wanna try and include some deserts and the bounceland for more free reach.
I considered it, but too mana tapped lands just becomes a mess an dkind of undermines the whole thing.
Deck looks sweet but kinda surprised not to see any war leaders call tbh
Trust on this: You don't need it. I don't play it in my current paper versions. I've even tested it in a couple of versions in videos on this channel and my final assessment is that it's just adding stlye points and trying to hard.
The reality is, you want WLC when you are creature heavy. Axonil is more consistent with you have lost of individual damage triggers that aren't reliant on something else, or trigger exceptionally easily (like flamebreather).

Really nice deck, Taii Wakenn is very powerfull, it's worth having 3 or even 4.
Maybe. I think I'm sticking with 2 right now. It was hard giving up space for those already.
re: the mono blue deck, seemed like it might be someone who's light on WCs/needed to do a blue quest lol
Maybe, I dunno. I don't have a lot of faith in the mono blue, counter heavy decks these days.
It’s crazy that the mono blue decks don’t run any variation of the “destroy target non-basic” land.
Some will play lands like Demolition Field. The issue they run into something though is that their deck tends to be land light already, so have and Island and one of those lands as their only sources for a few turns can hinder things.
Any thoughts on including a copy or two of Solphim as an alternate to Axonil? Or would it just be redundant?
Not really. You *could* . Just not sure it's a big deal either way.
Does that world souls rage deck play lockpicker from OTJ?
Haven't seen it in those lists. It *could* work, but those lists are tight for space already.

Yeah no, yours works great 🎯. I had to hodge podge mine, I'm getting my fourth Axonil today actually. I'm fairly old on a fixed income and started building mine with catapults and ETBs off of the guy who pings for each new body,
both three costers. I needed the pump to catch up.

Why does Kumano do 4 damage instead of it’s normal 1 damage?
Its damage gets enhanced by either Wakeen or Axonil.
